Coming to Magic Kingdom Fall 2012!!

On my last trip to the Magic Kingdom at Disney World here in Florida, I noticed that they were doing some renovations in Fantasy Land. Disney is very secretive when it comes to things like this, but luckily, they posted some of the changes where visitors in the park could see what they are up to.

Snow White

The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train

It’s about time they paid tribute to the original Princess, if you asked me! Snow White is FINALLY getting her own land. You will get to see the Dwarfs cottage, and most excitingly, get to ride a roller coaster through the Dwarfs Diamond Mine!

Cinderella

From Rags to Riches

Ballroom Dancing

You’ll get to see first hand where Cinderella grew up. You will get to explore her Chateau, and see her transform from her rags to her exquisite iconic ballgown right before your eyes! I seriously almost had a heart attack when I first heard about that…no joke.

Aurora

Briar Rose's Cottage

Surprise! Happy Birthday Aurora!

You will also get to see the cottage where “Briar Rose” grew up with her three Aunts. When you arrive, you will find that the Fairies are throwing a surprise sweet 16 birthday party for Aurora, since she slept through her birthday. Everyone will have the chance to make Aurora a birthday card, and then welcome her with a big surprise when she enters the cottage.

Have you ever wanted to actually see Maurice’s workshop? Well, now you will be able to! You will have the chance to look at all of his crazy inventions. At the castle, you will get to meet Belle. We all know that Belle loves a good story. You will actually get the chance to act out Belle’s fairytale story for her to see in her huge, lovely library. You will be able to dine at the “Be Our Guest” restaurant, where you will be entertained by the enchanted objects. If that sounds to fancy for you, do not fear! You will also have the opportunity to eat at Gaston’s Tavern.

Here, you will be able to meet and greet many of the Princesses, including Tiana and Rapunzel in a Royal Court type setting.

Dumbo

He may not be a Princess, but I love Dumbo. He will soon have his own Circus. Guests will be able to play interactive games while waiting in line to see/ride other attractions. You will never get bored here.

Tinkerbell

Pixie Hollow

Yep…you will be able to visit Pixie Hollow and meet Tinkerbell and all of her friends. How is this possible? You will shrink down to the size of a fairy, and explore the world from a different point of view.

disneyprincesss The Cinderella, Aurora and Tinker Bell sections are not happening now. :( The Seven Dwarf Mine Train is actually replacing the Cinderella and Aurora stuff and where Pixie Hollow would've been is just going to be more Storybook Circus stuff now.

In Defense of DPs - Snow White and Cinderella

Bonjour! I'm kinda new to fanpop, and I am a massive fan of Disney, but reading some of these articles that downgrade the amazing Disney Princesses is just sad. Sad.
While some of the points may be correct, I think they need someone to stand up for them sometimes. And that person will be me.

Snow White -

She's the one who started it all. For those of you who don't know, her movie came out in 1937. So sure, it's a little outdated. But that's because it was made like seventy-seven years ago. So it's not advanced stuff. Get over it.

Dear Frozen,

Thank you. Thank you for being pretty much the only realistic portrayal of love in mainstream media in the last- oh, I don’t know- at least five years.

In defense of Merida

Here is the problem with most people on Merida: she's selfish and wanted to change her mom. I can agree with that yes, but she changed and genuinely apologized in the end. Now I'm not going to bring up Ariel, they are very different but comparing them makes me look desperate. You're free to disagree, we all have opinions.
Though yes. I'm aware an article like this has just been written but the author is fine with it, I've been writing this for the past two days.
