9.Cinderella
Cinderella's actions would make Jasmine very angry. Jasmine wouldn't like how passive she is, and how she's dreamy and wishes for more but doesn't do anything about it. Jasmine also wouldn't understand or like how Cinderella never stands up to her stepfamily in a forceful or aggressive way, or never tells them off. She would find it very insulting to her strength as a woman.

8.Aurora
Jasmine would like Aurora's playful, flirty personality, and how she acts hard to get with Phillip. But she wouldn't like how Aurora just accepted marriage out of a previous betrothal, instead of standing up and refusing to marry.

7.Snow White
Snow White would be the highest of the classics, because while she is stereotypically female, she’s also bossy and by far the most dominant one of the story. She's manipulative and takes charge. But she still takes on the traditional female role and Jasmine would still not like her housewife-ish personality.

6.Rapunzel
Jasmine would understand Rapunzel's longing to leave the tower; however, she wouldn't agree with Rapunzel's conflicted feelings over leaving or her naivety, as well as her immediate fascination or clinging to Flynn. Jasmine would find Rapunzel too insecure and naive. Jasmine would just want a stronger, more self-confident princess.

5.Belle
Jasmine would like how Belle treats people, and how Belle disses Gaston. But she wouldn't like how Belle has freedom, much more freedom than Jasmine, and doesn't do anything about it. Jasmine would love how Belle deals with the Beast, but would find Belle's personality too calm and saccharine.

4.Tiana
Jasmine would love Tiana's guts and independence. She would love how Tiana has goals and goes for them, because it's something Jasmine would idealize. She would especially love how Tiana deals with Naveen, and never lets him overtake her or falls for his charms, from the beginning.

3.Mulan
Jasmine would love how Mulan deals with her limits in such a background, and how she doesn't bluntly defy the rules, but finds a way around it to break them. She would love how Mulan achieved something so huge. She would love how Mulan is clever and resourceful in the war. But she wouldn't care much for Mulan's actual personality, and dislike that Mulan only was defiant when her father's life was at stake; she wasn't going to rebel when she went to meet the matchmaker or within her tradition. Jasmine would prefer a more rebellious, defiant princess.

2.Ariel
There's not a thing Jasmine would dislike about Ariel. She would love Ariel’s rebelliousness, how she takes advantage of a huge opportunity even with a big risk, and would understand what it means for Ariel that just because you have everything it doesn’t make you happy.

1.Pocahontas
Pocahontas would be Jasmine’s idol. She’d love her free spirit, how the village looks up to her as a pillar of strength regardless of her gender, and how her gender or status is never called into question or used against her. She would love Pocahontas’ wisdom and womanly power, and admire how even though Pocahontas is being pressured to marry, she questions it and would especially love the moment where Pocahontas is choosing between the two river paths and chooses the less steady one. She would love how Pocahontas knows who she is and won’t compromise for anyone for it. Jasmine would love how Pocahontas never has to change herself in anyway to save John’s life and stop the war and be a hero in the end.

Up Next! Pocahontas (the one we know will be the toughest, by far. We're dreading it.)

Accidental Discrimination?
Accidental Discrimination?
Okay, so the more I think about this, the more it starts to bother me. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't recall any Disney Princesses having green eyes. What's up with that?!

Snow White: brown
Cinderella: blue
Aurora: blue
Ariel: blue
Belle: brown
Jasmine: brown
Pocahontas: brown
Mulan: brown
I think Tiana's eyes are brown too.

Even the majority of Disney's other leading ladies don't have jade-coloured peepers. I'm pretty sure Tarzan's Jane has blue eyes, as does Giselle in Enchanted. So do Alice (in Wonderland) and Peter Pan's Wendy! I can't really tell what colour Megara's eyes are in Hercules (blue...

Please Note: This is a mature subject matter. If you're uncomfortable feel free not to read.

This is my first time writing an article on Fanpop as well as on the topic of Disney but I have in fact written comprehensive articles about the place sexuality holds in American society so I at least can claim to know my facts fairly well. This is a break down on movie by movie basis exploring the sexual tones, or what I can pull since these are really films for kids, of not only the princess but also the prince as well as a few characters on the side. Let's go in chronological order!

Snow White and...

Okay I'm trying to make a complete list of all Disney Princesses. To make this list the Disney girl must be either born royalty or she marries royalty. (So while Mulan is awesome, she doesn't make the cut) This is to include all princesses not just leading ladies.
If you see one is not on the list please comment.

Born Royalty
-Adella (King Triton's Daughter)
-Alana (King Triton's Daughter)
-Andrina (King Triton's Daughter)
-Aquata (King Triton's Daughter)
-Ariel
-Arista (King Triton's Daughter)
-Atta (A Bug's Life)
-Attina (King Triton's Daughter)
-Aurora
-Dot (A Bug's Life)
-Eilonwy (The Black Cauldron...

This film tells the story of a sixteen year old mermaid Ariel who is dissatisfied greatly with her life under the sea. Paying no attention to the warnings of her father, King Triton, and the court musician, the crab Sebastian, Ariel and her best friend, Flounder the fish frequently reach the surface of the ocean, and with the help of the goofy seagull named Scuttle, they collect human artifacts.

Regardless of her awareness of the forbidden contact between humans and sea people, Ariel strives to become part of the human world. Hiding in her secret cave, Ursula, who has been looking for a chance...

PrincessAyeka12 gave me the fabulous idea of coming up with what books and authors each princess would like to read. We already know that Belle's a bookworm, but what would the other princesses spend hours flipping through, totally lost to the outside world? I had a lot of fun with this article, since I love reading. I've read at least one book from most of these authors, although not all of them. All credit for this idea goes to PrincessAyeka12! All images made by me.

Snow White

I get the distinct feeling that Snow would just adore classic children's books such as Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures...
