"Would you like to stay for dinner?" Mulan asked Shang.
Then grandma Fa shouted from the other side, "Would d'ya like to stay forever?"
"Dinner would be great." Shang said with a smile that made Mulan's heart flutter. Shang thought to himself "Forever(with Mulan) doesn't sound to bad either!"
"Is Little Brother here papa?" Mulan asked.
Fa Zhou answered "He should be here, call for him."
Shang thought to himself again "Crap. Crap. Crap. Another family member!".
"Little Brother! Little Brother!" Mulan called loudly. Shang was relieved to find that this "Little Brother" was just a dog.
"Come here," Mulan said in a childish voice, Little Brother ran to Mulan and she scooped him up in her arms "Naaaawwww, who's the smartest doggy in the whole world? You are, yes you are!!!"
"Would you like to hold him?" Mulan asked but gave it to Shang anyway. Little Brother licked Shang's cheek and left some slobber on his clothes
"Naaww, he likes you!" Mulan said as she smiled at Shang. Shang and Mulan laughed in unison. Just seeing Mulan smile made his heart melt. He never felt this way about anyone before.
"Dinner's ready!" Fa Li called out. Mulan, Shang and Fa Zhou walked into the dining room.
During dinner, Mulan tripped and dropped the teapot; the tea splashed onto Mulan's feet.
"Ai yah!!! Ouch that burns! Hot, hot, hot!" Mulan shouted and thought to herself "Shang's HOT, HOT, HOT!!!". Everyone just laughed and shook their heads gratefully because Mulan was back.
"Sorry about that, I'll get another one!" said Mulan.
She came back and managed not to spill the tea (and not make her look like a fool in front of Shang). She poured tea for everyone but when she got to Shang, her hands became wobbly and unsteady. She couldn't focus, Mulan was daydreaming about her and Shang- it was suddenly interrupted with the cup overflowing and burning Shang's hands.
"Yoooooooooowww!!!" Shang screamed.
"Oh my goodness, I am so sorry, here have mine!" Mulan said as she traded cups with Shang, she got a napkin and dried his hands.
"Okaaaay. Can we eat now Mulan?" Fa Li asked grinning.
"Sorry ma-ma, yeah, let's eat!" Mulan said. Mulan thought to herself "OMG. KILL ME NOW! I just made a complete fool out of myself AGAIN!!!"
Fa Li and Fa Zhou asked Shang many questions like "what are your plans?" and other stuff. Shang answered politely to every single suffocating question Mulan's parents shoved up his throat except for one.
Grandma Fa interrupted and loudly asked, "So when are you two getting married, ehh?"
Shang almost choked on his dumpling while Mulan dropped her tea on her dress and spit out the tea that was in her mouth. Their faces were both turning bright red.
"Mulan!" Fa Li shouted.
"Any kids?" grandma Fa asked.
"Ma-ma please make her stop! I'm dying inside!" Mulan pleaded whilst Shang actually choked on his dumpling.
"Grandma was only kidding, Mulan." Fa Li reassured her. Before grandma Fa could say any more embarrassing things, Fa Li put her hand over grandma Fa's mouth. Shang cleared his throat. "Me and Mulan are just friends, colleagues- nothing more." Mulan secretly wanted to say "Yes we're getting married!" but she felt that it wouldn't happen with a clumsy girl like her and a sweet, polite, sensitive, HOT guy like him.

After dinner, Mulan and Shang took a stroll in the garden amongst the cherry blossoms.
"Sorry about that, back there." Mulan said.
"About what?" Shang said grinning with a little laugh.
"You know what I mean! My family can be so embarrassing sometimes and I'm so sorry for spilling the tea!" Mulan giggled then smiled at Shang. Shang was bedazzled at Mulan's smile and the way her eyes lit up in the moonlight.
"Nah, it's okay, I found that quite cute actually!" he confessed.
"Really?" Mulan said in a high confused voice "It was NOT cute when I spilt the tea on the matchmaker then set her big ass on fire."
Shang laughed- this was the first time he really laughed at anything.
"I'm guessing you didn't get a good reply?" Shang asked still in stitches from Mulan's story.
"Nahh, I knew I wouldn't get in anyway." Mulan replied.
"What? A beautiful, smart and funny girl like you?" Shang confessed blushing. Mulan started to blush too.
"You think I'm beautiful?" she stammered.
"And smart and funny" Shang added.
"Wow thank you, you know no one's ever said that to me before." Mulan smiled.
"I think you're the only girl who I've had the longest conversation with. All the other girls are boring and traditional, but you, you're different." Shang said.
"Considering I dressed up like a man and joined the army, yeah, I would say I'm different." Mulan said still blushing. The two were about to kiss but was interrupted by Mushu who started to sing "Mulan and Shang, sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G!"
"Mushu!" Mulan said in an annoyed voice.
"I gotta go! I'll see you some other time." Shang said. Before he left, he gently left a kiss on Mulan's cheek. He set off on his horse and went back to the Emperor's castle. The whole Fa family bid goodbye to the General and all went to bed.
Mulan couldn't sleep; she tossed and turned all through the night. She couldn't stop thinking of Shang, her heart was racing, she felt things she never ever felt before. Little did she know that Shang felt the same about her too.

Alright this is more of a rant than anything because "Enchanted" is one of my favorite movies and I cannot believe she isn't in the line up or is thought of as a Disney Princess. And I know the movie is making fun of the stereotypical princess when she meets the real world but there are so many allusions to the movie, especially The Little Mermaid in a lot of them. BUT ANYWHO let's get started.
The usual reason Disney deems a character a Disney Princess is usually because they are the heroine of the movie and have a few musical numbers where said heroine sings in. They also are very beautiful...

Belle and Beast
Belle and Beast
For me, Belle is one of the smartest princesses. I know some of you wouldn't agree, but I really think she is brainy. Now I'll start my discussion...

1. Being a Bookworm
For me, bookworms are oftenly smart. You know, the more you read the more you learn, the more you absorb information. Plus, reading a lot of stories makes her articulate and English literate. Last one, this is a personal experience, all of the bookworms I know are one of those very smart people I know in this world, so it may also be the same instance as Belle.

2. Being Open Minded
For me, Belle is an open minded person. Open mindedness...

I believe happy girls are the prettiest girls - Audrey Hepburn
I can't believe I haven't written an article about this, oh anyway I think most of the DP Smiles are very pretty and this is the first article where Merida is included

11. Pocahontas
Sometimes pretty, but mostly it looks as if she's forced to smile
Sometimes pretty, but mostly it looks as if she's forced to smile

Oh come on, her smile is not very pretty, it feels as if she's forced to smile, sometimes her smile can look very pretty, but oftenly it just feels forced and that is one of the reasons to why she's rarely seen smiling in the merchandise.

10. Mulan
Pretty, but looks oftenly weird because of her lips

9.Tiana
Tiana is too grounded and doesn't believe in wishing upon stars, whereas Rapunzel's very nature is about believing in destiny and fate. She would admire Tiana for her independence, really, but there would be a lack of connection and she wouldn't care too much about Tiana's work ethic.

8.Aurora
While they would connect over the 'hidden princess' similarity, Rapunzel would...

One of my all time favorite authors is Jane Austen. When I read her novels I feel as if I have been transported to a different time and place; I feel the same way when I watch a Disney movie. They both take my mind off of my every day life, and take me into a world with chivalry, and romance. I’ve always thought Belle and Elizabeth Bennet were a lot alike, and lately I’ve been reading a lot of Jane Austen, and watching some of the movies that have been inspired by her work, and I thought about writing this article. I’m going to match up each Disney Princess with a heroine from a Jane...

That's Right! I made this!
That's Right! I made this!
I can’t imagine who’d be interested in reading this senseless garbage but apparently there are some out there who do since ya’ll keep posting these things. I get it; it’s the hip thing to do, everyone else is doing it, surely someone out there cares about my opinion on something so trivial as the order in which I objectify 9 women. Well it’s happened my lovelies—I’ve given in to the peer pressure. But if I’m gonna do this, I’m gonna do this only once and I'm gonna do it thoroughly! So for any of you who could possibly give a good gosh darn,...

Princess: Ariel

Art Style: Disney Renaissance / Neo Classicism

As the first Disney film of the Disney Renaissance, in a way this film epitomizes the look of the modern animated feature. While The Little Mermaid defies and overall classification, it does however reference a number of pre-existing artworks.

The story of the Little Mermaid had become so popular in the early 1900s that a ballet was written. Shortly after, artist link was commissioned to sculpt the story's main character in bronze. While...

I'm sorry, I was really lazy so I photoshopped quickly and some not at all. Even I disagree on some of them. Well, let me know which celebrity you think could play a Disney princess!!!

Liv Tyler as Ariel
I think that Liv's face is fresh and she can rock the red lipstick and the hair.

Rachel Mcadams as Aurora
Rachel's lips and blonde hair reminded me of Aurora. They also both have the same body type.

Natalie Portman as Belle
I'm not sure what it is, maybe it's the feminine traits.

Scarlett Johansson as Cinderella
Scarlett's lips and eyes make me think of Cinderella.

Nicole Scherzinger...

One of the subjects that interest me the most about movies (including DP movies) is the box-office. I think that if used in the right way (I mean, inflation-adjusting things), it might be a good way to compare movies and understed why they are popular or not. So I spent some time researching and I finally came up with the North American grosses of the 10 DP Movies. Hope you enjoy my research, my comments and my images.

#10 - The Princess and the Frog - $107.7 million
If the word "flop" applies to any of the DP Movies, unfortunately, it's this one. The Princess and the Frog's marketing was...

Just like the way princesslullaby made an arti about how she disliked Aladdin, I'm going to tell why I hate Naveen. First I'm going to say if your a fan of Naveen who's just going to cry about me hating on him just leave now. If you don't wanna hear it than don't read it. Secondly he's the animated character I hate the most of all animated characters. Anyway here's the article.

First off I'm annoyed by the fan girls I meet online(not just fanpop but other websites too). They're just in love with him for some reason. Hello he's a womanizer! How can you love that? Sure he's handsome but there's...
