In the movie Tangled, it's not made obvious whether Rapunzel's reunion with her parents takes place in the morning or afternoon. Analysis of the light and shadows of various morning and afternoon scenes shows that the reunion takes place at dawn, and may imply that Eugene and Rapunzel spend the night in the tower.

7:00 AM, day 1
7:00 AM, day 1

Here we see the first shot of the tower after the opening prologue. Rapunzel states it's 7:00 AM. The light comes from the side, and does not directly shine into the door window. The waterfall is in a narrow shadow.

Afternoon, day 1
Afternoon, day 1

This shot is from when Mother Gothel returns to the tower to see if Rapunzel is okay. The scene transitions to dusk as it takes time for her to break into the tower. Notice the rocks around the waterfall are fully lit.

Afternoon, day 3
Afternoon, day 3

This shot is from Eugene's ride to the tower. This is in the afternoon, since he arrives after Mother Gothel has told Rapunzel to get ready for dinner. As above, the rocks around the waterfall are fully lit. The sun shines directly into the door window, somewhat from the other side than the morning shot.

"Morning after" day 4???
"Morning after" day 4???

This shot is a brief cut after Eugene and Rapunzel's kiss in the tower. There is no cue to tell you that any time has passed, so you would think this shot is in the afternoon of day 3.

Wrong! Look at the lighting. The waterfall is in a narrow shadow, matching the 7:00 AM shot. The tower is lit from the side as in the 7:00 AM shot. Therefore, this shot of the tower is on the morning after--on day 4. The implication may be that Eugine and Rapunzel spend the entire night in the tower. However, this is not consistent with them reaching the castle by the break of dawn (see below).

8 in the morning, day 1
8 in the morning, day 1

This shot of the bridge takes place at 8 in the morning. From the shadows, the sun must be off to the right (when looking toward the castle).

Morning, day 2
Morning, day 2

This shot of the bridge takes place in the morning, not long after Eugene and Rapunzel wake up. As before, the sun must be off to the right (when looking toward the castle).

Afternoon, day 3
Afternoon, day 3

This shot is from afternoon on day 3. The shadows go the other way, so the sun must be off to the left (when looking toward the castle).

Dawn, day 4???
Dawn, day 4???

These shots are of the castle's main balcony, which faces the same direction as the bridge.

There are no obvious cues to indicate time has passed, so you might think this shot is at sunset day 3 (although this isn't plausible from the perspective of how much time it should take to travel the distance).

However, the direction of the sun is in the same direction as the other morning scenes--and the opposite from the direction of the sun in the afternoon scene. Therefore, the reunion must take place at dawn. Assuming this takes place on day 4, Eugine and Rapunzel must have left the tower before daybreak.

11. Merida
Merida. Not the most popular girl ever. She' s not all that brave. Also she whiny and complains. Your mom cares about you so much and she has done a lot for you so, BE THANKFUL! I really hate how she tries to be all independent and carefree but it just feels forced. I think she is just not good at all. Blegh I hate Merida.

10. Rapunzel
The too perfect princess. She is smart, brave creative, independent, and SO ANNOYING!!! Ok I start to like her when she' sin the tower because she's funny and flawed. Then once she meets the thugs I hate her. I do love that she likes to paint. A disney...

A little while ago, I wrote a collaboration with my five year old sister of our favorite Disney Princess eyes. My other sister, Amelia, who is eleven wanted to do one. We decided each of our favorite hairstyles of each princess. I included sequels on my list, Amelia did not. Then, we ranked them. Hope you enjoy!

Amelia's #11
Jasmine's Ponytail

I really don't enjoy any of Jasmine's hairstyles, but since I have to choose, I picked the the ponytail because it isn't as bad as the others and it looks good with the red outfit.

Annika's #11
Tiana's Bun with Bangs

*sigh* I desperately want her hair down,...

Anyway I hope you all enjoy, and comment below how you feel about the results!

Though the Disney Princesses are Amazing and wonderful every one has there flaws and there are some major ones with out trying to be to Negative, these are the flaws with some of your favorite princesses, this is a long and pointless rant, just warning you

SnowWhite: The Classic and First ever DIsney Princess, made in 1937 mimicking silver screen stars like Claudette Colbert and Marlene Dietrich, Not only the fairest of them all but also the Kindest, but is Snow a bit to Kind? Many Critics have circle around the fact the SnowWhite is just to friendly with strangers, for example: after she is...

I don't feel like writing tons of list of things I've written about before so I decided to write a favorite DP List and a prettiest DP List with not just my ranking of the princesses, but also with other rankings such as where the movie is placed for example. Hope you'll like this idea :)

11. Ariel
Just because she's my least favorite princess it doesn't mean that I hate her, no I like her, especially as a human, she's so hilarious and expressive, as a mermaid she annoys me a little bit, but I still like her. I just love the 10 above more

Prince: #8
He's nice, but doesn't have much of a personality...

10. Snow White
________________
Although she is one of the classics, her voice, oh the voice!!!
She looks decent, she cowers over everything! Her dress is cute but she is dumb. She eats an apple to a complete stranger that was so suspicious. Even the animals didn't like the witch.

9.Pochantas
___________
First, the movie was historically inaccurate. Second, she falls in love with John Smith, which is again, historically inaccurate. She possessed an ability to talk to a tree who guided her. No other princess talked to a tree. Not even Snow White. If Pochantas was is your favorite princess, I am sorry...

Yup. We got ourself's a cooking princess.
Yup. We got ourself's a cooking princess.
Now as we all know Tiana isn't really that popular on fanpop...am I the only person that LOVES her?
I mean this girl is basically brought Disney to a whole new level!!! She can cook, make a raft, she can dance, she can also sing in a BROADWAY voice. Not a lot of DP's have a broadway-like voice other than Ariel, Belle, Pocahontas, and maybe Jasmine or Rapunzel but I doubt it. Just about half.
Now I'll be telling a few reasons why this modern princess deserves a little bit of support, clapping, and bravos.

I know, plenty of people have did a list like this and a lot more lists as well so woo-hoo, I'm doing one too. Look at me, I'm joining the crowd. Yay. Anyway, I feel that since this is the month for Disney Princess Couples on this spot, now would be the perfect time to figure out which couples goes where. I already knew my top two, and now I think I've got all the rest worked out. So sit back, have some popcorn, and enjoy the list that's probably exactly like a bunch of other people's!

9) Snow White & the Prince♥
Typical to put them down so low, I know. I have nothing against either of...

"Once Upon a Time, in a faraway land, there lived a beautiful princess"-
Nope. If you're looking for the cliche fairytale of how a motherless drop dead gorgeous 16 year old with a horrible life, who then meets a prince, talks to him for a bit, and then marries him the next day, this isn't the story for you. For this story doesn't have a typical beginning, nor a typical ending, and very few typical things in between
Our story starts off in a place called Aladora, ever heard of it? Probably not. For Aladora's in an alternate dimension, and is very different from our world. Aladora is nothing but...

9.Pocahontas, I thought she would at least make it a little higher due to her playfulness and curiosity, but I guess, people say she's too mature and serious.

8.Mulan, I do wonder why she made it this low as well, she's so clumsy and cute at times, but people say she's more cool than cute.

7.Jasmine, people just consider her a spoiled brat.

6.Belle, so many people just find her boring and uninteresting.

5.Tiana, she looks cute, but she's far too serious.

4.Aurora, she does have her cute moments, but she's more graceful and angelic more than anything.

3.Cinderella, she is kind and innocent, but she's a bit more mature.

2.Ariel, She's cute but there are times when she is sassy, and rude.

1.Snow White, IT'S ABOUT FREAKING TIME SHE WINS SOMETHING!!!!
What do I have to say? She, sweet, innocent and bubbly.

Aurora walked around a bit and with a glance of glee, she found the other six princesses sleeping under the tree. “Hello!” Aurora greeted.
“Mmm...mmm…” Snow White replied sleepily, she was not totally awake yet.
“Apparently they don’t hear us,” John Smith told Aurora. “Let me try.”
John Smith walked toward Pocahontas and with a gentle voice, he whispered, “Pocahontas, I am back.”
Pocahontas abruptly woke up, waking up the other six princesses. After she...

So sorry this took SO long!!

Female characters today are a far cry from the demure, lady-like heroines of the Classic Age of Disney. They are allowed to wield weapons, they are allowed to lead rebellions, they are allowed to be the brains of the operation. But on the other hand, have we really shed the need to fit every character into a preconceived ideal? Really, I’d say the female characters of today are every bit as idealized as those of the pre-Civil Rights era, simply reflecting our ideals of our modern society, juggling a career, relationship (or entirely rejecting one,)...
