This month it's been 3 years since I joined Fanpop and what better way to celebrate it than by listing up my favorite DP Dance Scenes, I would've liked to write my favorite Disney Princess list or any other list that I've written, but that I could update, but I decided to wait until after Merida's coronation so that I can include her too, also I've been wanting to write this list ever since I wrote my first article, so here we go :)
10. Ma Belle Evangelie
I love the lightning that Ray uses in this scene and the song is quite nice and I forgive this scene for that Tiana and Naveen are frogs in this scene, if they where humans in this scene I wouldn't like this scene at all, second this is the first time that Tiana dances so how can you expect this scene to be perfect. But it's still a very boring scene in comparsion to the other scenes here
9. Tour of The Kingdom
Even though the dance scene is very short I can't help, but love that scene. What I love the most about the scene is how Ariel quickly learns how to dance. But the scene is too short to make it further on the list.
8. Down In New Orleans (Finale)
Another quite short scene, but I love it because Tiana dances so great for being only the 2nd time that she dances and the song is just amazing. But I just love the 7 scenes above more
7. Once Upon A Dream (finale version)
This scene is a classic, I love how they first dance in the castle, but then the scenery changes to being in the clouds and it doesn't bug me that the fairies still can't decide the color of Aurora's dress, it just adds some extra magic to the scene. But the 6 scenes above are just better
6. Beauty and The Beast (finale version)
It's funny that this scene is just one spot higher than the scene it copies, yes Belle and Beast dances the same dance that Aurora and Phillip danced in the end. But why this one is higher is because I love the song in the scene better, but it's not enough to beat the top 5
5. So This Is Love
Oh, this scene is so sweet, I love the way that Cinderella and Charming are looking at each other and the song is just beautiful. But I tend to prefer faster dances or scenes that makes me wanna dance, this one didn't do it, but I love this scene anyway
4. Beauty and The Beast
How can you not love this scene? The ballroom is just so beautiful, the song is just perfect for the scene and Beast is a pretty good dancer for being the first time in probably many years that he dances. But it can't beat my top 3
3. Once Upon A Dream
I love this scene so much, it of course helps that Aurora is such a wonderful dancer. This scene is such a classical scene and possibly one of Disney's most iconic dance scenes. But I just prefer the 2 above more
2. The Silly Song
Another iconic dance scene and in my home country this scene appears on a Christmas special every Christmas Eve. I love the song very much and it really helps that Snow White is imo the best Disney Dancer. I can't help, but start dancing whenever I watch this scene. But I just love my number 1 slightly more
1. The Kingdom Dance
This dance scene is perfection, the score is just amazing and I love how Rapunzel gets the villagers to dance. Like number 2 this scene makes me want to get up and dance.
