I'm just going to go read a book in a quiet corner now...
Hello, fellow fan poppers! I've been lurking on fanpop for awhile, and now that I finally made an account, I've already been here a few days and made a few articles, but I decided to introduce myself. I'm terrible at introductions in real life and online, so this probably won't be my best article.
But anyway, here are a few things about MacytheStrange.

My Name: I have a name, and it's a girl's name, too! But I prefer to go by my pen name, Macy. I call myself Macy the Strange because I'm a fan of Emily the Strange, a slightly obscure 90s counterculture icon.

My Life: Gonna keep this brief, because internet. I'm lucky enough to have seen more of the world than many my age. I'm American but living in Asia. I'm devoted to my two younger sisters, one of whom is very near to me in age and my best friend, and the other of whom is a toddler. I would do anything for them. I have Irish and Italian heritage. And there are many other things, but mainly I'm just that weird teenage girl you are, or were, or will be, or were in another life.

My Dreams, Hobbies and Skills: I dream of being a writer. It's the only real, finite thing I dream of for myself, and it's very important to me, even though people always say it's impossible. My hobbies include archery, basketball, writing, reading, cooking, singing and dancing, but reading and writing is my real passion. I play the piano, and it's something I enjoy. I'm very skilled at math, but I find it the dullest thing since white bread. I can convert even the most obscure of currencies in my head, but so can a calculator, right? I also have a sixth sense when it comes to fixing computers. I'm constantly reading, and I have a habit of using a over-the-top advanced vocabulary that makes me sound like someone from the Victorian Era, which ensures that I have no friends, and that my family wants me to shut up.
And I really truly hope that I'm a skilled writer, but I know I need more practice.

At my best I'm: A bit shy, intelligent, sarcastic, generous and armed with an annoying vocabulary and backwards sense of humor.

At my worst I'm: Painfully shy, full of confidence issues, prone to crying at the most minor of provocations and a huge know-it-all. Oh wait, I'm always a huge know-it-all.

__________________________________________________

So that up there was basically everything about me that isn't fanpop-related, which means that the fun fanpop stuff can commence!

My favorite DP movie: Beauty and the Beast. This movie is just really special to me. I loved it growing up and love it even more now.

My least favorite DP movie: Sleeping Beauty. And it isn't because of Aurora! I just haven't seen this one as much as others, and it's a bit boring.

My favorite DP: Belle. I haven't done a favorite princess list yet, but I love Belle, love her movie and can just really relate to her.

My least favorite DP: Ariel. I know she has a lot of fans, and that she and Belle are compared a lot. But I really don't like the decisions she made. I respect it if you do like Ariel though, everyone's different.

My favorite Disney Prince: Flynn Rider. He is pretty awesome, and I like the way his character changes throughout the movie.

My least favorite Disney Prince: Prince Charming. He has very little screen-time and story arc, but he comes off as lazy, rude and prone to judge others by looks alone. He can't even leave his castle to look for the 'girl of his dreams.'

The DP I look like: I look like a mix of Belle and Merida, with Merida's wide face, freckled nose, and small lips and Belle's eye and a mix of the two's hair color, although my hair is cut very short.

The DP I act like: I'm a bit of a mix of Belle, Tiana, Merida and Esmeralda, although she isn't a princess. Like Belle, I'm a reader, and would sacrifice anything for my family. Like Tiana, I am hard-working, determined and a pretty good cook. Like Merida, I don't fit my family's expectations of me, and I also study archery. And like Esmeralda, I always want to help people in need.

So, that was my fashionably late 'introduction' article. I hope you enjoyed, even if it is a little long. I guess when an introvert is told to introduce herself, she either cowers in a corner or goes off on a tangent!
