All the beautimous DPs we know and adore!
All the beautimous DPs we know and adore!
Now that there are 13 Disney Princesses(which is my lucky number btw) I will make a FAVORITE LIST!!! I know, it's the moment you've all been waiting for (no it's not), so lets get this shindig started!

13. Merida

I love every single Disney Princess, but someone has to be last, sorry Mer! I think what makes her last is that her movie was the least interesting for me, and her selfish actions at the beginning of the movie slightly bugged me--although she did overcome that, but also (I might sound shallow here) because she doesn't sing. I'm sorry! I'm just a huuuge fan of the DP voices, and I sing along to their songs allll the time. What I do love about Merida is her spunk, her wicked cool hair, and her adventurous side. I might move her up sometime, it's just so hard to have a least favorite! D:

Don't shoot me! You might get moved up soon!
Don't shoot me! You might get moved up soon!

12. Pocahontas

The reason she's so low on the list is largely because, again, her movie is one of the more boring ones. I like Poca a lot more at the beginning of her movie when she's carefree, jumping off waterfalls and whatnot, but I feel like she loses that fun personality as the movie goes one. I still love her of course, but she becomes too infatuated with John Smith, it's rather boring. My favorite things about Poca are her singing voice (Colors of the Wind is one of my favorite songs), her noble actions, and her wanting to get the most out of life. Also her gorgeous hair doesn't hurt. ;)

Wheeeee! Adventure is out there!

11. Snow White

Honestly, she might get moved up real soon, I just haven't seen her movie in soooo long. Anyways, that's mostly the reason she's so low, I don't remember much about her. I do love her a lot though, I think she's adorable! I love her cute hair and her cute dress and her cute voice and her cute attitude. I love that she can get animals to help her do chores, now that would be helpful! To conclude, my favorite things about Snow are her cuteness, her bravery even in tough situations, and her ability with animals. I just want to pat her head, what a cutie!

Come in, come in, my child! One musn't lurk in doorways, it's rude.
Come in, come in, my child! One musn't lurk in doorways, it's rude.

10. Cinderella

I love Cindy a lot. Her voice is so smooth, it just gives you chills. She also looks beautiful, her hair and her face are like the perfect 50's princess (which is pretty much my favorite decade). The reason she's lower than the others is because I wish she would stick up for herself sometimes, although you can catch glimpses of sass every now and then from her ("Maybe I should interrupt the..'music lesson'." oooh dat sass). Haha, anyway, my favorite things about Cindy are her sass, her general goodness, and her innocence. She's flawless! <3

The mice can't go nude! It'd be an abomination!

9. Rapunzel

Rapunzel is amazing! She has so many talents, but that just makes her more human to me. I can only imagine what she must have gone through, being locked in a tower with a lying "mother" all those years. I truly admire her wit and her spirit. She's kinda low on the list because I admire the other princesses more and I don't relate to her very much. My favorite things about Punz are her adventurous spirit, her crazy hair, and her happy personality despite being shut off from the world for 18 years. What a strong girl!

Silly Pascal, Disney Princess lists are for princesses.

8. Aurora

She's absolutely beautiful: personality and looks! A true hidden gem. The reason she's lower than the other is because she doesn't have enough screen time. If we'd only seen more of her, she would likely be much higher. My favorite thing about Aurora is that she is a big dreamer. I love that she acts out her dreams with her animal friends, I find it simply delightful! She seems like a really fun person. I love her operatic voice that gives me chills all over. I love her bouncy hair, her surprised face, and her personality. I also strongly admire her sense of duty for when she finds out she's a princess and she can't see her true love again, she follows duty rather than her feelings.

Don't fall asleep, Aurora. You've got a prince to dance with!

7. Belle

The bookworm after our own hearts! Belle is simply fabulous, I do declare. I love her for many of the same reasons as Aurora, she's a big dreamer! She's very relatable to me because we both love getting caught in the fantasies of books and we wish we could explore the world. I love the fact that Belle is able to look past outward appearances, and I love that she will not put up with verbal abuse. I also love that she dislikes Gaston, and nothing will change her mind on that, because she knows he's a monster underneath that hairy chest of his. To conclude my crazy thoughts: Belle is a great role model and a very relatable young lady.

Sheep can't read, Belle...

6. Tiana

I adore Tiana to the ends of the earth! She is, in my opinion, the best role model out of all the Disney Princesses. She's hard-working, practical, and smart. I reaaalllly hate how low she is on my list, she used to be my 3rd, but other princesses wormed their way up...Anyway, what I love most about Tia is that she still has that childish side that shows through every once in a while, but she still stays calm and acts like an adult. I love her strong voice, her attitude towards working so hard every day, and her sticking to her dream! I've never seen such a hard-worker, she's such a great person to look up to.

This is the smile of a woman who ain't gon take no crap from nobody.
This is the smile of a woman who ain't gon take no crap from nobody.

5. Elsa

I absolutely looove Elsa! Her voice is fantastic (it's Idina Menzel, of course it's fantastic!), and her ice powers are out-of-this-world awesome. She reminds me of my sister and I feel the strong need to hug her during most of Frozen! The reason she's not higher is because I relate to the other princesses a ton, while I hardly relate to Elsa much at all. My favorite things about Elsa are her voice, her awesome spirit when she sings "Let it Go", her gorgeous hair, and her love for her sister. I also enjoy her secret side which enjoys fun. :)

Let it go, let it go! Turn the door and slam my back!
Let it go, let it go! Turn the door and slam my back!

4. Jasmine

Jasmine is the most beautiful princess in my opinion (some people say she looks like an alien, but I think she just looks exotic). She's also got one of my favorite personalities. She wants to do the right thing, but she cant bear to let herself settle for less than true love. I love her feistiness, her gorgeous voice, and her outfits (werk those pants, gurl!). I love that she doesn't give a whoop about how rich a man is, all she cares about is finding the right one for her. She's an adventurous girl who's not afraid of anything, heck, she's got a tiger for a pet! Wow. Girl got guts.

Cheer up, Jasmine! Your handsome street rat is out there somewhere.
Cheer up, Jasmine! Your handsome street rat is out there somewhere.

3. Mulan

Mulan's been my 2nd favorite for a long time, so it was difficult to watch her move down. I love how she finds herself throughout the movie, and how vulnerable she was at the beginning. I think she's extremely relatable because she is very insecure, but learns to love herself regardless of her gender or what society thinks of her. I strongly admire Mulan's bravery, I don't know if I would have had enough courage to join the Chinese army in my father's place! She's one dynamite gal who can take anything you throw at her, truly a flower who blooms in diversity.

Whoa! 9 Mulans!
Whoa! 9 Mulans!

2. Anna

Yes, Anna has shoved everyone but my #1 down! How did she do it, you ask? She's sooo like me, that's how! Our sister situation is very similar, and I'm the Anna of the relationship. The reason she's not number one is because nobody could ever beat her, but Anna comes pretty darn close! Some of the things I love most about Anna are her spunky personality, her desire to be friends with everyone, her longing for company & true love, and her brave, go-getter attitude. She's so ready for adventure, she doesn't even change her clothes, she just rides off after her sister without a second though. I relate to that immensely. I also love how gullible she is, it's a very real flaw in a person. Anna is, in two words: lovable beyond belief.

Just flirting with a statue, nothing to see here...
Just flirting with a statue, nothing to see here...

1. Ariel

At long last, my number one! The one to end all ones! Ariel has been my absolute favorite character ever since I can remember. Anyone who knows me at all knows I am obsessed with this chick! What I love about Ariel is her fun personality, her carefree attitude, her devotion to the human world, her gorgeous voice, her hair, and her being a mermaid doesn't hurt. :) I feel like I am very much like Ariel, even more than Anna. Her relationship with her father is exactly like my relationship with my dad. She is very obsessed with the idea of being human, so she collects all these human things to make her feel like she's one of them, which is also a lot like me. I collect Disney merchandise because I love it much like the way Ariel love the human world. Another thing I think is great about Ariel is the way she falls in love with Eric, and won't let anyone tell her she can't be with him You tell 'em, Ariel! I think Ariel can be a little thoughtless sometimes, but that makes her more real. Ariel is definitely flawed, I'll be the first to admit, but I love flawed characters. Ok I'm rambling now.

Don't ask me how that book is not falling apart underwater.. O_o

Thanks for reading this everyone! Have a great day and a Happy New Year!

This is a movie I've been looking forward to rewatching for a while :) I love the Disney Princess movies (except maybe Brave, still need to watch that again) but The Little Mermaid brings back so much nostalgia for me. This movie isn't number 1 on my favorite DP movie list but it's still one of my all-time favorite movies.

Today's rewatch: The Little Mermaid
Last time watched: 2017

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
I hope you're all comfortable because this is going to be a long one. When I was little mermaids were my favorite thing and it was all because of The Little Mermaid. For the...

Okay so I didn't even need to watch this today because I was able to watch it a few days ago at a birthday party :P I would have put this up then but I wanted to stay consistent.

Sunday's rewatch: Beauty and the Beast
Last time watched: Valentine's Day 2017

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
So, like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, this movie scared me when I was little because of how scary some of the animation was. When this movie was released on dvd for the first time in 2002 or 2003, I didn't want to watch it because I thought I was still going to be scared of it. But then my stepmom...

Hello Maleficent.
Hello Maleficent.
Hi guys, an idea had struck me on writing this article. It is a comparison between Wicked and Maleficent, are you ready?

The Story

Although the film is like Wicked, but Maleficent is a darker and Gothic version of Wicked. Mainly because of how the film is portrayed.
Whereas Wicked is more lighter despite that it has some darker approach at some point of the film, so I would not label it as Gothic.

The Characters

Princess Aurora is very much like Glinda, because the 2 protagonists are optimistic and blonde-haired! They tried to persuade the 'Villain' (both Elphaba and Maleficent) to be good.

Wedding of the Century!
Wedding of the Century!
Hi guys, since I am watching a documentary about Princess Diana. I will be writing a few wedding march music when the Princesses march to their love ones down the aisle, ready?

1. Wedding Voluntary/ Prince of Denmark's March (Jeremiah Clarke)

Okay, we heard this piece of music when Diana walked down the aisle at St. Paul's Cathedral in 1981. I prefer this interpretation because it sounds majestic.

2. Wedding Tune (Henry Purcell)

This is also another majestic music, it woud be when all the princesses march together if their wedding are together!

3. And Did Those Feet in Ancient Time (William Blake)...

Hey look! It's Lady Rose MacClare! No, it's Cinderella! Actually, it's Natasha!!!
Hey look! It's Lady Rose MacClare! No, it's Cinderella! Actually, it's Natasha!!!
Hi everyone, I have been a fan of Russian history too and upon discovering Leo Tolstoy's classic, War and Peace. Here are my personal opinion on whether or not Disney should do it and to make Countess Natasha Rostova or her other Princess friends to become the first Russian Princesses as official DP.

Yes, A Russian Princess!

We definitely need a Russian princess in the line-up, in this story, there are more than 1 princess! So, since Natasha is the main character, she might be added alongside Princess Maria and Princess Elena despite that Natasha is only a countess.

The Story Is Very Long-Winded

Okay, So the story is split in 4 parts of the book. It will be to long winded, unless Disney is bold enough to shorten certain parts of the story as long as it does not omit out certain important and prominent part of the story.

Time for Imperial Russia?

So, are you ready for Disney's very own Russian princess?

The Mouse's Sorting Hat was one of my favorite blogs on tumblr that I used to read in the golden era of late 2013 to early 2015. It was then a prolific blog that sorted many characters in the respective Hogwarts houses of Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff. Whenever I requested a character, the sorting would immediately come. Things went smooth, slow, steady, and ready, until my senior year, that was the dark days of late 2015 to early 2016. By that time, the blog had redesigned, but they weren't making any posts those days. I tried to message them, but they couldn't receive my messages. I sighed. I still tried to request, but the posts couldn't come. I sighed again, so I tried to reblog their posts on my blog. Unfortunately, the founder deleted the blog one day, and I felt saddened. Here are their sortings of the princesses:

It's been about 2 months now (maybe even a bit longer) since the last time I logged onto Fanpop but that hasn't stopped the trolls.

As some of you may know, I had started here just trying to make friends from all over and get different point of views and understand other people better. Unfortunately, I didn't find many people who were good-hearted, open-minded and trustworthy and therefore I didn't get to make so many friends.

Instead, what I found was that there were more people here who are willing to hate and condemn than try to change and help or even just understand and accept. They rely...

The Taj Mahal
The Taj Mahal
Okay, after Japan and Korea, here are my finalist for an Indian princess. Especially for her appearance, are you ready?

1) Aishwarya Rai (Miss World 1994)

She won the Miss Photogenic Award and the Miss World title back in 1994, she is a very pretty Bollywood actress in her own rights after winning the title and I have to say that she ages gracefully!

2) Priyanka Chopra (Miss World 2000)

She is another possible choice for an Indian princess, I would not be surprise if they choice her to voice her and base her looks on a princess too!

3) Sunidhi Chauhan (Elsa's Hindi Voice)

She was the voice of Elsa in the Hindi dub for Frozen, she also has a very pretty look and will definitely be good for an Indian princess.

Be Bollywood!

So these 3 choices are my personal favourites, do you have any suggestions?

1.    The DP Article post that claimed to be me (now deleted) is obviously not me as those are not my views at all, it is a stereotype of something they are accusing me of that is not true. I don't talk like that at all either and I am shocked anyone could have believed that it was me.

2.    Anyone who actually cares enough to read the whole story can refer to my real “About Me” articles where I clearly talk about my mixed racial background and how my abusive childhood has shaped my views. I talked about how I associated “Stepford” with embracing...

I was so inspired by 3 users before me, so here we go!

I'll Changed My Name to....

It would definitely be Aurora, because I love Latin names so she is the perfect choice for me. (Runner-up: Jasmine)

My Parents

Maurice and Tiana's parents! Both of us love IT gadgets, especially DSLR cameras, Apple products and laptops. I also want to be independent as well and I'm glad he's very supportive of Belle despite not having a motherly love for her!
Secondly, I choose Tiana's parents because they're also very supportive! (Runner-up: The Sultan of Agrabah)

My Siblings

Definitely Belle, because we love...

Hi guys, since Moana will be coming to Malaysia on Boxing Day this year. Here are my thoughts and expectations on why I'm so looking forward towards the movie!

The Story-Line

I hope that the story will not be like Frozen and I would expect something very original, and from what I heard is that Moana is not going to get a love interest like Merida and Elsa before her.

The Characters

Speaking of the characters, I hope that Moana is not going to be like a carbon copy of Merida from Brave. If she was, I would be surprise and all that! But I just hope that she's not going to be like a spoiled brat...

After reading link, I wanted to write one of the quick one for myself as well. It's really fun. So here's my borrowing from Disney Princess lives.

1. If I could change my name, who would it be of?

Elinor: I think it's regal and sound very beautiful as well. It comes from French origin word "Eleanor" which means bright, shining one.

2. Who would I want for my parents?
James and Eudora - they are the most supportive parents I have come across in Disney. They give their child abundant love, attention and care. And also believed in their child's dreams.

3. Who'd I want as my sibling?...
