The current lineup, as of February 2014.
Hi there! I'm ApplesauceDoctr, and welcome to my third article and coincidentally my third countdown, featuring my favorite DP singing voices. The majority of our current princesses do sing; all but Merida. So, what do you say? Let's do this!

For fun, I thought of ranking each princess on a scale of one through five, with one being the lowest and five being the highest score possible. This is just to show how much I like each voice in the overall. :)

I know that Anna and Elsa will [most likely] be joining the lineup sometime this year, but even so, I would just like to focus on the current official princesses, minus Merida (since she doesn't sing).

Okay, now let's begin! :D

9. Snow White: ★★★☆☆

Although I like Snow White's voice, it's hard to compete with other great voices.
Although I like Snow White's voice, it's hard to compete with other great voices.
*sigh* I really don't like putting Snow White at the bottom. There are definitely those that don't like her voice for it sounding old-fashioned, but I don't mind it. I like it at most times. It sounds very sweet and childlike, and it fits her personality really well. She sounds really nice in "Whistle While You Work" and for most of "With a Smile and a Song". In other songs, she can hit some really high notes, which sound...not so great. But as a whole, I like Snow's voice. The only thing bringing her to the bottom are her high-notes, and the fact that the other princesses have amazing voices too. ;D

8. Rapunzel: ★★★☆☆

Rapunzel's voice sounds really nice, but once again, I prefer the other voices more.

Similar to what I said about Snow White, Rapunzel's voice is very nice. Mandy Moore captures her personality perfectly, both in speaking and singing. She can hold notes nicely and sounds just amazing in "I See the Light".
So, why is she so low on the list? Well, once again like Snow White, the other princesses have stronger and more powerful voices that I just happen to like more. But don't get me wrong; I love hearing Rapunzel sing. She sounds just lovely! :D

7. Belle: ★★★☆☆

Belle's voice is nice and powerful. Sadly though, she isn't any higher than #7.

Belle's never had my favorite voice, and for a while I could never see what was so outstanding about it. After relistening to some of her songs in the movie, though, I've noticed how nice she sounds! Her voice in general is nice, and she can really hold some notes. Her voice may still not be super-amazing-outstanding to me, but it really sounds nice and it fits her character well. I'm going to give the same old excuse as I did for the previous princesses: I like the other voices more.

6. Cinderella: ★★★★☆

Cinderella just has a beautiful singing voice.
Cinderella just has a beautiful singing voice.
She may be at number 6, but I love Cinderella's voice. There's just that one sound that people had back in the 40's and 50's that you can't find nowadays, and Cinderella is no exception. Her voice is just lovely, and she sounds just that in every song she sings, from "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes" to "So This is Love". I haven't heard too many opinions on Fanpop about Cinderella's singing voice, but I hope her singing gets some attention as it sounds amazing. :)

5. Aurora: ★★★★☆
Aurora's almost always hailed for having the greatest singing voice of all the princesses. Well, I'm not going to act like I've always thought that, because for almost all of my little life, I totally disagreed. I couldn't stand listening to her sing - her voice sounded deep, her long notes aggravated me, and...yeah. Well, my friends, that opinion has turned around!
I wonder why I didn't see...er, hear it before...
I wonder why I didn't see...er, hear it before...
Maybe not entirely, but if I hadn't watched Sleeping Beauty recently, Aurora'd be at #9. Seriously. So, how did this happen? Well, I for one love Aurora's singing when she's first walking in the forest. There are no words, she's just singing a bunch of angelic-sounding notes that the birds repeat. Her later singing in "I Wonder" and "Once Upon a Dream" are also really nice. She holds notes, her voice is powerful, and is all-around amazing. Well, she does suffer from some of those long notes being a tad tedious (like Snow White), but other than that, she sounds great.

4. Jasmine/Mulan: ★★★★☆

Well, as you may have figured out by now, there had to be a tie somewhere, and that was with Jasmine and Mulan. They do sound a little different from eachother, but they're both voiced by Lea Salonga, so it may as well be a tie.
Jasmine and Mulan don't get huge singing roles, but when they sing, they sound great. They have a powerful and nice-sounding voice which goes great with their respective songs that they sing.
They may not sing much, but Jasmine and Mulan have beautiful voices.
They may not sing much, but Jasmine and Mulan have beautiful voices.
Jasmine only shares a duet, but even so she can prove her vocal powers. :D Mulan was lucky enough to get her own solo, and she brings her all into its performance. Sadly, "Reflection" is still relatively short in comparison to the other songs in the movie.
These two are already pretty high on the list, but let's check out my Top 3 choices! From here on out, I'll only have positive comments to say (at least, in terms of singing). So, who's my choice for third place?...

3. Pocahontas: ★★★★☆

I may not like Pocahontas much, but her singing is out of this world.
I may not like Pocahontas much, but her singing is out of this world.
In general, I'm not a fan of Pocahontas. When it comes to its music and her singing voice, that opinion is gone. I love Pocahontas' voice. She sounds great in both "Just Around the Riverbend" and especially in "Colors of the Wind". Like some of the other princesses on this list, she has a very powerful voice that sounds amazing when combined with these two songs (which, by the way, are both awesome). I was torn between putting Pocahontas here or at the second place spot, but I finally settled for third place. Still, Pocahontas sings beautifully. ;D

2. Ariel: ★★★★★

Ariel's voice - well, you already know it's great, so I'll just stop talking.
Ariel's voice - well, you already know it's great, so I'll just stop talking.
Ariel is another princess who is commonly considered to have [one of] the greatest voice[s], and of course, I'd have to agree with that. Is it overrated? Well, it's certainly a popular opinion, but I wouldn't say it's overrated - she deserves all the attention she gets! Not only does Ariel have a beautiful singing voice, but her song "Part of Your World" and its reprise are both fantastic pieces, and her voice sounds great in both songs. If anything, I'm a bit upset that she doesn't get to sing more!
And now, my favorite DP singing voice is...

1. Tiana: ★★★★★

That last note is AWESOME!
That last note is AWESOME!
The Princess and the Frog has everything for me: favorite princess, favorite princess singing voice, favorite Disney movie (of course), and favorite soundtrack. Tiana's my favorite princess, and her voice is my favorite among all the princesses. She has "Almost There" all to herself, and I love the last note she holds. Such power! She also has the opening song "Evening Star", where she sounds amazing as well. There are a few other songs where she has small roles, but the previous ones mentioned are my favorites. Tiana's powerful voice sounds incredible, and it goes well with her songs.

And that's the end! I hope you've enjoyed reading this article, even if you didn't quite agree with the things I said. Hopefully you did enjow it, though. :D I have a little request for you guys, and it's rather simple! Just answer these two questions in the comments below:

1. Which princess has your favorite singing voice?
2. Which princess has your least favorite singing voice?

And that's that! See you guys later! :D

Ok, I was looking through concept art for Tangled when I found this. It's the original Flynn - who was blond and broad shouldered - the complete opposite of what he ended up.

However, Kristoff is blond and broad shouldered and he has a big nose. He looks a lot like the guy in the picture.

Interestingly, all this had led me to believe that Kristoff is a recycled version of Flynn! I may be wrong, but I find my evidence pretty compelling.

What do you guys think? Do you think the resemblance is strong, or do you think it's a coincidence.
So I've been doing a poll on this for the last couple weeks or so, and here are the results. Thanks to everyone who participated in the polls and for the people who gave me their impressions in the answers section! This countdown did not include Anna or Elsa.

11. Ariel

I was actually surprised to see that Ariel got eliminated first, but I can see why. People said that that she seems like an irresponsible, careless girl who misses her father's recital. Others said that while she seemed a bit irresponsible, she seemed fun and adventurous.

"What we see of her is an irresponsible, careless girl...

Welcome! This is yet another article in defense of the classic Princesses - otherwise known as Snow White, Cinderella and Aurora. I've always wanted to write something like this but never really had the inspiration for it until I read Silverrose1991's fantastic article. I find myself constantly defending the classic three in polls on here, but I've never actually made an article on it... until now. I hope you like my article and apologies if it comes across somewhat preachy or as if I'm attempting to force people to agree with me as this is not my intention.

Note: This is not a bashing of the...

A couple months back, I gave my past view on FROZEN. Now, here's my current view.

First of all, I've decided that I'm going to see the movie. I realized how good it might be. I've told my mom about it and she said it sounded interesting. I think it comes out on Thanksgiving. I might not be able to see it on Thanksgiving, but I will definitely go see it then tell you guys about it! I hope you guys like the movie as well! Now, onto Elsa.

At first, I wasn't sure about another DP joining, but now, I'm slowly starting to accept that. And to be honest with y'all, I like HER better than Anna! Maybe...

The Legendary Princesses
I did this list awhile back and I thought I'd do it again because of two reasons
1.I enjoy writing about the princesses, their qualities and why I admire them. It's a fun way to past time.
2.My opinion has changed on one of the princesses. Yeah, I know, ONE princess motivated me to rewrite this list.
In this countdown I'll do something different. I'm gonna compare how Fanpop generally feels about the princess and how I feel about her. I obviously got the information from the publicly voted countdowns. I always try to be original and it's fun to compare things.

Hello there~

I'm Justinfangrrl and I'm here to give a bit of my own review on the Disney Pixar film Brave. Note that this is mainly opinion, but still a review nonetheless. Since this IS going to be MY opinion, I might stir up some contraversy or slight opinion squabbles due to some of the other opinions from various users on this spot... But I could be wrong. So just sit back, relax, and maybe even have a nice, intellectual conversation with me and fellow readers on the subject. I hope you enjoy my article. :) [slight SPOILER WARNING and kind of a long article..]

Okay well I've already done one of these, but that was before I discovered these little "format" everyone's been using which kind of sucked because, well, it's a good format. So here is my redo getting-to-know article.

First Name:Lily, but my real name is Lillian. Don't call me that though. I hate it. Lily is fine.

Iran.

Country of Origin:Okay, read to be blow away? I'm from Iran. I wasn't born there, I was born in the United states, but both my parents were. For the uneducated who think Iran is the same thing as Iraq and are about to comment, "But there's a war there!": here's...

Even though it isn't the same big change as my prettiest DP list (which just changed again) it still has made a change so I decided to make this new list for you!

10. Jasmine (9)

I can't stand this girl especially with that attitude that she has. Sure, she has some moments where she's happy, but most of the time she's so angry and I don't like that. What I still like about her though is her strong self confidence and that she only wants to marry for love and that she's very relatable! Another thing that I don't like about her is that she decides to leave the palace even though she's a princess!...

Aladdin and Jasmine
Romantic Chemistry: scale of 1-10 (10)
These two are just so in love you can just feel it. They've had this indescribable bond right from the start. Sure, they've had their fair share of arguments, but in the end, it's just two kids in love. <3
eh ma god what is she doing......
