WTF?! Olivia, I thought we was cool?!
WTF?! Olivia, I thought we was cool?!
12.SnowWhite and the seven dwarves
Really, I don't hate it, I just don't find it all that interesting. I much prefer movies with action or that at least keep the plot going. The majority of the movie consist of SnowWhite just being so darn lovable with the dwarves, not anything building up at all, she runs away, she has funny bits with the dwarves, the queen comes and the prince saves her. I often find myself going on the internet during it or going some place else. It's cute but it doesn't focus on anything, it just drags on little insignificant scenes. It's very cute, but it could've been shorter instead of stretching out scenes. I really love it, I just love it the least.

11.Pocahontas
It's not my thing. It's nice, but it's Romeo and Juliet put to actually history, put to Disney twist. I think it's distasteful, it's also dishonest to history and therefor should not have been made (because a historically accurate movie would be terrible). The Disney magic in it all seems rushed, like when she and John Smith magically can talk to one another. I really wish they were at least true to their ages so she could be a young heroine. I like the animation, I like Pocahontas as a character but everything else seems flat. I love the concept of the movie, but perhaps shouldn't have been used with those specific people in history. I imagine it should have been used with Nakoma and Thomas a Native American who isn't real with an Englishman who can't be proven real. I'm awfully picky when it comes to character development and John Smith's is one I find bland, unoriginal and unbelievable. As much as I try I can't bring myself to enjoy the movie, I just can't get past it's historical roots. I just think they could have done better. Disney could have either done Romeo and Juliet OR a Native American/ Pocahontas movie NOT both mixed together. It's really a lovely movie, but I can't bring myself to like it.

10.Cinderella
Though it contains my 2nd favorite DP I'm afraid I don't much like it. Like SnowWhite it consist of little bits that prolong themselves and doesn't suffice to any importance. It's cute and I love every second of Cinderella, but it doesn't hold my attention for very long. After the whole Gus/Lucifer and Cinderella get extra chores and whatnot, it picks up pace only to go back to the mice singing about helping Cinderella with dresses and the whole dress making process with Gus, Jack and Lucifer I hate those kinds of dragging scenes. I only tolerate a dragging scene when it has some sort of point at the end of it like the sing sweet nightingale part, but it wasn't really that long. I tend to go in and out of the movie as Cinderella appears and disappears there by earning this spot. It's cute and I like it but it more of a "look at these cute little bits here and there" type movie. Sometimes it captures my attention sometimes not. I think I like Pocahontas better actually, but I'm bias so deal with it.

9.Princess and The Frog
I don't even know how this happened. I like it, I really do. I suppose I like the others more. It has a flawless plot, I like the concept, the animation is good, the music is amazing. I think because it has the "Party boy falls for a Serious girl" archetype also the fact that they make Tiana a frog for the majority of the film. I don't much like the talking animal movies either.

8.Brave
I really like it much more than what this ranking gives it. It's like Cinderella where I love the heroine much more than the film itself. I like it it doesn't have any dragging scenes at all, good animation, and despite what people think I thought it was epic. I think it's focus on a mother-daughter relationship is why it's not high, I like it a LOT! Like I love this movie, I really don't know why it's so low I thought it'd be higher.

7.Frozen
Despite my recent HATRED of the characters in this movie, I just can't help but like it. It has nice songs, nice plot I love the fairytale it was based off of, really it was a safe movie that was combined with a Disney twist. I like it. I don't want to praise it, but it ain't bad.

6.Aladdin
It's a good movie. It's really...very 90's. It's so modern and I just don't click with movies that are made for the time. All the references (though I love them) takes away from the magic. It has lots of pointless bits in it as well. I simply LOVE the plot and everything. I like the jokes, I like Jasmine, I like Aladdin really all the characters are amazing and just FULL of life.

5.Sleeping Beauty
It's a shame all the classic are low, It's just that they all have dragging scenes that add up to no significant point, that makes it cute. Sleeping Beauty in particular is higher than the others because it does give us a general idea of each of their personalities and does make some progress in the plot. I like the use of color, songs and concept as well. I like to watch it late at night when I having trouble sleeping or to cheer/calm myself. I has a certain Ora about it that makes it impossible to hate.

4.Tangled
You just can't HATE Tangled. I find it so lively, no dragging scenes and unlike Naveen, Flynn doesn't seem so far away, like Naveen seemed way out there in the cocky, spoiled, party boy type whilst Flynn it seemed like an act, which it was. Flynn seems more genuine, I also like his relationship and development with Rapunzel, I see it as a better version of John Smith. The overall plot and Disney twist on is is amazing. I can't find many plot holes just some. To be honest the only problem I may have with this movie is Rapunzel and of course it's CGI, which isn't much to dislike. Can you really think of a reason to hate it? It's like Sleeping Beauty but more interesting.

3.Mulan
Favorite DP's movie here! I love it, I'm obsessed with Chinese culture and Mulan is one of my favorite legends. I was one of those kids who's parents only let them watch good role models and what not. I read the legend of Mulan before I watched the Disney movie luckily my mom thought that Mulan was a good role model. She was the first DP I ever saw and I just love her. As I grew up I just noticed more and more things about it. I like the movies, the reality of the culture. I liked Mushu, I loved Shang and how selfless Mulan was. I just die of LOVE! Nothing but love for this movie. Sorry if I seem vague.

2.Beauty and The Beast
Sometimes the plot drags a little, but the rest of the time it's developing characters, exploring its concept, I love Belle and Beast relationship I love that you don't know how long she was with the beast and she didn't just fall for him in a couple of days. I love how the beast is portrayed, each character is so diverse and well thought out. I like how wickedly AMAZING the villain is, the songs remind me of Tangled how cartoony yet fun and serious they are. I simply love it.

1.The Little Mermaid
Growing up my mom though Ariel was a TERRIBLE role model walking around in seashell bras and selling her life to Ursula for some boy. My mom HATED her, and my mom being christian forbade me to see it. The funny thing is I saw it at a fellow Christian's house that my mom urged me to go to, like any girl I fell in LOVE with Ariel! When my parents split up my dad got me her movie on DVD. I just love it, and I felt like Ariel when I watched it disobeying my parents and stuff. I felt the need to say that, I don't know why. I just love Ariel and her bubbly spirit. I feel it's perfect. All the sidekicks are lovable, no dragging scenes (that much any way), I love all the music (even though brave is my favorite sound track). She may be my 5th favorite DP, but I often feel like she is my favorite DP. I know this is a pretty vague reason to like the movie, but I like the movie for EVERYTHING it is. It's around the top with Tarzan, just LOVE it.

Thanks for reading, be sure to give me your list below (because I like having people's input and opinions. :3

I said I was going to make an article on my most elegant princes, and it's finally here! I think elegance is a very attractive and desirable trait in a man, so this is something I was looking forward to. This was pretty difficult to make considering that we don't see much of them. Keep in mind that I rank the princes based on their appearance, how they carry themselves, and my first impression on them, not just their personality
Well I'm finally done with all this elegant talk and thanks to everyone that helped me with these elegant articles! I'm not planning on doing a villain one. Anyway...

This is the second of a set of reviews and analyses that I will be doing on each Disney Princess movie. I will try to be as unbiased and analytical as possible. I watch the movie so that it is fresh in my mind, and review 10 categories: the princess, the prince, the couple, the villain, other characters, the plot, animation, songs, score, and mood. I then give each category a score out of 10, then the movie as a whole receives a total score out of 100. All categories contribute equally to the final score.

Hello everyone! I've been on this site now for roughly 4 months, and I thought I'd do a look back on my opinions then, and how they have changed now. I hope you enjoy c:

Snow White

From 5th place to 6th place

Snow White is one of the few on my list that has pretty much stayed in the same place. Though she may have dropped one spot, if anything I've come to appreciate her more. Before I thought she was a little too cheery, but now I see that her cheeriness is my favorite aspect of her. I've also come to see the different characteristics of her personality, like the fact that she's brave, yet...

So, I haven't been here long, just 20 days and I haven't been really active either. That is because I am socially akward and shy in real life so I am afraid of being socially akward on internet too. Altough, in real life, when I am with the people I know and I'm relaxed I can be extravert. So I was thinking if by making this article I can relax, I could start being more active. So here it is. :)

My name is Ana and I live in small european country Croatia.I have two older sisters and I am 14 years old.

I love all the princesses, but if I had to choose a favourite one I'd probably choose Snow White....

1. Most Likely to be the killer-Snow White or Aurora

It's always the quiet, innocent ones...

2. The one everyone THINKS is going to survive at the end-Mulan or Pocahontas

In horror movies, the one you THINK is going to survive the whole thing dies.

3. The one who ACTUALLY survives at the end-Cinderella or Belle

In horror movies, one of the more innocent ones live.

4. Most likely to be the prime suspects-Merida, Rapunzel, or Ariel

The killer is always white, and Merida, Rapunzel, and Ariel are the only white princesses left.

5. Most likely to die first-Jasmine or Tiana

Of course the colored people always get it first...Horror movie stereotypes :P Anyone wanna bet how many minutes into the movie until one of them gets it?

I decided to write this because, well, I’m bored right now, and why not. :P Merida is not in this because I’m only doing the ones one hundred from Disney. However, if she had been on my list, she would be dead last. I based this on how the princesses look in their first movie. Anyways, moving on….

Snow White
I have never liked Snow White’s looks, she’s so cartoony. I don’t like her hair, her outfits are bad, and her eyes creep me out. And her nose is barely there. Her lips are okay, but the colour is way to dark. I do however like the blue and red bows she wears. Those are nice.

Mulan...

We all know Ariel isn't really the most favorable Disney Princess. Albeit all her adoring fans, there's also a tremendous amount of hate to come with that. There's no need to explain why to both, many fans already established that, so why bring it up again?

Yes, the character hate is understandable...at least to a point. Up until the flaws have overshadowed the good in Ariel, or have been somewhat exaggerated.

So here're a few traits Ariel have, but seem to always go unnoticed

Ariel's caring nature

While this may seem a bit dubious, Ariel really does care. And it's a trait highlighted on her...

I saw that this countdown was done with the old designs, and I thought it would be fun to do it with the redesigns! Of course, this was a lot of fun because- well everyone knows these redesigns look nothing like the film characters did.

10. Cinderella
I think everybody knew Cinderella would be the first to go. Everything about her look was changed. They gave her a very different face, an entirely new hairdo, and a dress that barely resembles the one that was used in her marketing before- which barely resembled the one in the movie. People said they made her look Barbie-fied and she looks nothing...

My list changed so I'm doing this. I don't know how it turned into this but it will probably change again anyway. Maybe writing a lot of articles make you change your point of views more often. Or maybe it's that I used to rank the better role models as my favorite Princesses. Now, I just don't take that into account, it's really which character I like more.

10. Tiana
Previous Rank: 7

I wish I could be like her, I'm so lazy. Sometimes I really like her, maybe it's because I usually love people who are like her in real life but I'm not as fond of her as a character. She's the second Princess...

If there's something that I love about most DP Movies it would have to be when the princess meets her prince for the first time so here's a list of my favorite first meetings of that kind, hope you'll enjoy this article

10. Belle & Beast

This should be no surprise to anyone, this meeting is WAY to creepy and sad. But despite this meeting I still love Belle & Beast as a couple and I love the scene itself. This first meeting could work better in a horror movie to be honest, but I still like their first meeting

9. Tiana & Naveen

Yes, this is their first meeting despite how...

Villains, we love to hate them, and Disney has many of the best villains known to man. Since we are only focusing on the Disney Princess Villains, the countdown will obviously not include the others. For the past 10 days, I've held a countdown for the Best Disney Princess Villain, and here are the results.

10. Governor Ratcliffe
This round was no contest at all. From the very beginning, the villain from Pocahontas had the majority of the votes, and all of the other villains got one or two votes each. People said that he is pathetic, lazy, and there was no purpose for him to be in the story....

Since I am trying to make the Princess Of The Month more popular, this is another one of my ideas. In the end of each month I'll post articles, based on the countdowns for songs, hairstyles and outfits. There everybody will have the chance to discuss whether they agree with the results, what corresponded to their expectations, and what they wish would have been different!

Once again, I will be using pictures for my articles. A few months back I would have made a detailed explanation about each result, but since the recent changes, Fanpop has been acting really weird. And yes, I don't like the option of writing long paragraphs with text, while the pictured are all clustered in the bottom of the article! So under each picture I will be posting one comment, related to the result. So in case you don't want your comments posted in my articles, please contact me!

Here are the results of the POTM Outfits Countdown: ~*Rapunzel*~ (January 2013)! Enjoy and share your opinion!

Jessikaroo and I were recently talking about the animation in the Disney movies and realized that this is one aspect which hasn’t really been discussed in the spot so far. And isn’t that what Disney makes different from most of the other studios, the quality of the animation? Yes, animation is not everything. One of the best movies Disney ever made is “Robin Hood” and it is also the one with the worst animation by far. Well, that’s unfair. It is the cheapest animation, but it is not really bad for the budget they had. Even though the animators reused a lot of animation, not just from...

Meeting Snow White in Germany, EPCOT.
Here are more pictures since you can only put 20 per article, I made a part 2!

These are mainly pictures of EPCOT. There are always a ton of characters in all the different countries. Mulan can be met in China, Jasmine and Aladdin in Morocco, Rapunzel or Snow White in Germany, Alice, Mary Poppins and Winnie the Pooh and friends in the U.K., and Belle or Aurora in France. I'm kind of just droning on because my article needs to be longer hahaha it says to post it to the forum.

There probably are going to be more fairy tale adaptations in 2014. The movies are...

For a family friendly company. Disney really knows how to make a decent villain, so much to the point where they're most interesting character in the movie. This countdown was hard because, with one obvious exception, all the Disney villains are good at what they do.

10.Governor Ratcliffe
Needless to say, he's the obvious exception. He is so pathetic and stupid, I can't stand him. He can never do anything right. His most memorable moment involves being covered in glitter, oh that's very menacing. He's just a racist ambigiously gay dumbass. He's less of a villain and more like a cheap laugh....

I'm doing this article in honour of the fact that Brave just came out, and I can't wait to see it. It's definitely not the typical princess movie. Before we begin, I want to say that I hope hope hope HOPE that Merida will be added to the line-up, because I think she'll add some valuable traits to the line-up, and I think Punz needs another computer animated character in the line-up so she wont look as harsh against the 2D animated princesses. I'm going to be honest here, but I really HATE this intro, it's probably my least favorite animated movie intro. It's so boring and it makes me wanna fall asleep, but this doesn't mean that I hate modern movie intros of course not, some are good, some are just boring. The thing I hate the most with the intro is the songs, especially "Steady As The Beating Drum", it's one of my least favorite animated movie songs....
