Hours later, everyone was prepping for Mulan's surprise dinner party. Ling, Yao, and Chien Po informed the princesses about the special occasion and they wanted to lend in a helping hand. The princesses cooked, the men did the heavy-duty work, and Pocahontas and Merida kept Mulan distracted. "Does your family really think it's going to be twins?" Pocahontas asked about the queen's pregnancy. "We do. Just in case it's not, we're only sayin' one baby." Merida answered. "It's good not to second-guess." Mulan replied. Pocahontas and Merida turned shell shocked.

"You haven't spoken like that all day!" Merida exclaimed about Mulan's slight perkiness. "I think some healing is finally taking place." Pocahontas chimed in. "It'll take a while for me to get used to, but at least she's in a better place." Mulan stated about her now deceased grandmother. The more Pocahontas talked to her, the more she believed in coping. "No offense Pocahontas, but your bump is TINY." Merida pointed out getting back to the baby talk. All Pocahontas could do was smile. "It IS my 1st pregnancy after all." she joked.

"I was sorta like that when I was pregnant with Ping." Mulan said. "Yes, but you were...Kind of bigger." Merida replied not knowing how to put her wording together. "Some women are different." Mulan stated. "How far along are you?" Merida asked. "I'll be 5 1/2 months pregnant soon." Pocahontas added. "My mother's gonna be 6 months pregnant tomorrow." Merida replied somberly. "What is it?" Mulan asked. "Half of me feels like I should've stayed to take care of her." Merida confessed. "Merida, just remember what I said before." Pocahontas noted. Merida smiled in thanks.

She and Pocahontas walked inside for a minute. "I guess it's just you and me!" Mulan said to Ping in an adoring way. "How's everything coming?" Pocahontas asked. "Couldn't have gone any better." John answered. Pocahontas could smell the amazing food all the way from the dining room. "Something smells good!" she said. "It's the pork. It just came out of the oven." Su stated. "Do you need help?" Pocahontas offered. "Actually, we're almost done." Ting-Ting answered.

Pocahontas nodded as she smiled. She didn't want to speak of this, but she was kinda glad the princesses had offered to cook. It would've taken a toll on her rapidly changing body. "OW!!!" Pocahontas heard a scary scream. She rushed to help the person hurt, but giggled when she saw it all. "You little stinker!" Mei joked. Merida had accidentally burned her hand.

"Are you alright?" Pocahontas asked trying not to giggle once more. "Peachy!" Merida answered sarcastically. Knowing Merida was embarrassed by what just happened, Pocahontas stepped back outside. She didn't go back out into the backyard because she wanted to give Mulan and Ping some alone time. She put her hands on her bump. "Please grow bump." she prayed. It's not that she hated it being little. She just wanted to see some progress.

Pocahontas was like any other expectant mother-anxious. She was prepared on what to do when the baby comes, but she wanted to meet him or her as soon as possible. She wanted to see who he or she looked liked, she wanted to give her or him every single ounce of love there was, she wanted that child to know she or he would always be loved, the list could go on. "What are you thinking about?" a voice asked. Pocahontas snapped out of her thoughts. "Oh. I was just..." she paused. John knew what was up. "Pocahontas, I know you want to meet our child badly. I do too, but we can't rush this." he stated soothingly.

"John, I'm aware this can't be rushed, but I want to let our child know he or she will be loved no matter what." Pocahontas said. "It already knows." John replied as he out his hands on her little bump. She leaned closer to him. He and the spirits are what helped her get through the craziness while pregnant. They were her rock. They were her heart and soul. They were her everything.
