Wow, I'm pretty lazy, remaking all of my lists. But I really wanted to show you all my updated list. Similar to my Disney Princess list, this list has changed a lot, so I thought I would remake it. Anyways, please keep in mind that this is my opinion, and we may disagree, so respect my opinion and I will respect yours. I hope you enjoy the article!

12. Mulan.
Oh, another Mulan rant, this should be a joy. Anyways, first I want to say, that all the people I told Beauty and the Beast would be my last forever, it looks like I lied about that. Mulan is now my least favorite. Anyways, what I dislike about this movie is I find it quite average and pretty mediocre. As I've talked about Mulan before, I think she has a pretty basic personality, and I don't think she's that great of a role model, or a character overall. The characters are pretty irritating. Mushu had the potential to be funny, but I don't think it was pulled off pretty well. I dislike the mixed character themes in the movie. Characters like Mulan go on and off in personalities, she's like a different character throughout the movie, it's pretty inconsistent. The movie is pretty bland and unmemorable, I don't see anything iconic or anything worth remembering. Overall the movie had potential, but it didn't do too well. And, I know I'm going to get hated on for this, but I think Mulan was DEFINITELY part of the downfall of Disney, much more so than Pocahontas.

11. The Princess and the Frog.
I've come to absolutely adore Tiana, but this movie? Nope, sorry. It's great that Disney decided to go with hand-drawn animation and all, but seriously, that isn't going to save the movie. First of all, the animation is absolutely gorgeous and is definitely one of the best. However, the plot line and characters are not so. Despite adoring Tiana, I strongly dislike not of the characters. Naveen is irritating and his development is rushed, and all the side characters and comic relief characters are just.. Ugh. They try to be funny and interesting, but they really aren't. The plot line isn't that great, it goes pretty far downhill when Tiana turns into a frog, it's like they threw the plot into the water. There's also a lot of plot holes, and the movie is very rushed. It's higher than Mulan mostly only because I absolutely adore Tiana.

10. Beauty and the Beast.
I've grown to be a little more fond of Beauty and the Beast. At least to a point where it isn't in my bottom two anymore. However, it's not off the hook yet. I still dislike Belle, I feel like she is a Mary-Sue and is completely overloved. I don't like Beast either, I don't find him to be that interesting or developed. This movie also has a lot of plot holes, and the animation is very inconsistent, although it's absolutely gorgeous. Overall, I'm a bit neutral about this movie currently. There are some things I like about it. Despite having plot holes, I do enjoy the plot line to an extent, it's mostly the characters that bother me. So, it's on around neutral about this movie. However, I will say I really love the songs in this movie, especially "Belle (Reprise.)" Maybe I'll re watch it again and see what I think.

9. Frozen.
I've grown to really like this movie. I used to hate the characters, but now I love (almost.) all of them! Anna is a fun and interesting character, Elsa is a complex and intriguing character, and I just love Kristoff. :3 I'm okay with Sven, and there's one character I hate.. Olaf. UGH, he is extremely irritating, tries too hard to be funny and isn't, and that voice, I can't listen to it! I really just can't. There are also some characters that are not necessary. I see no purpose for the trolls, and the parents? The same thing. All they do is mess the movie up. (Most of the tragic events in the movie happen because they implanted fear into Elsa.) I also really like most of the songs, my favorite is "Frozen Heart." Anyways, I do love most of the characters in Frozen, but it's the plot and plot holes that bother me. I think the movie is all pretty rushed, and because of that, a lot of plot holes occur. They don't really clarify on how Elsa got her ice powers, among other things. And really, the majority of the movie only happens because everyone aways says the wrong thing at the wrong time, and vise versa. Anyways, I do like this movie, but I have many issues with it.

8. Tangled.
This is probably a surprise too, it's dropped a decent amount. However, as those of you who read my favorites list know, Rapunzel has dropped from my list. However, this movie actually dropped before Rapunzel dropped from my list. Anyways, I really love this movie. I love the characters, they can be a bit bland at times, but I still love them. Rapunzel is a sweet and fun character, though she has little flaws, she is also one of my favorite Disney Princesses. Flynn is an interesting and developed character, he's one of my favorite Disney Princes. I also love Mother Gothel, she's a really interesting villain! Then Pascal is okay, and I don't really like Maximus, he's comic relief, but his humor is too modern. I absolutely love the songs, my favorites are "When Will My Life Begin?" And "Mother Knows Best (Reprise.)". I enjoy the basic plot of the movie, but the problem is that I feel it is too simplistic, but rushed at the same time. It's higher than Frozen because Frozen has multiple plot holes, whereas I can't find many in this movie, although there are still some. The movie can also feel rushed at certain times, and there are a few scenes that I just don't enjoy. The frying pan scene for example, it's not funny at all. Anyways, the reason that it is not higher is mainly because of the plot, which I find simplistic, and the humor is also a bit too modern, however, I still love this movie, but to a much lesser extent than I used to.

7. The Little Mermaid.
This movie has dropped a lot some I last made my list, last time it was my number one. However, I've noticed the flaws in this movie, and now it's not even in my top five. First, let's talk about the characters. I dislike Ariel, as I mentioned on my last favorite list, I hate how rebellious she is, and it upsets me how she wants more, when she really has everything that she needs. Then Eric. I really like him, but eh, he's not that interesting of a character. Now what about Ursula? She is definitely a great character! She's an awesome villain, I love how she's determined with her plan, and she's really interesting. I also love the songs in the movie, they're really amazing! My favorite is "Part of Your World." It's absolutely phenomenal! I also like the general plot of the movie. Like I said, my main issue is with Ariel, and when I have a huge issue with the protagonist, it can make it a bit of a hard time to like the movie. However, I absolutely love this movie, even if Ariel is the protagonist.

6. Pocahontas.
Poor Pocahontas, she hardly gets any attention or love. This is the only Disney Princess movie to be hated by critics! However, I think this movie is absolutely amazing! I love the plot, it's really interesting, even if it's not historically accurate. The characters are great too, I absolutely love Pocahontas, I think she's more interesting than people give her credit for. I also like John Smith, he's an interesting character too. However, I don't really like Ratcliffe that much. Anyways, the songs in this movie are FANTASTIC! It has one of the best Disney Soundtracks, in my opinion. Colors of the Wind is absolutely amazing, and so is Just Around the Riverbend. I don't think the movie is really that rushed at all, nor does it have that many plot holes. I hate that a lot of critics hated the movie because it wasn't historically accurate. Get over it! It's a dang Disney movie, not a documentary! It's absolutely ridiculous they can't go past that it wasn't historically accurate, and enjoy the movie. Can't they at least like the songs? Well, apparently not. The reason it's not higher is because I think the other movies are just simply more interesting than this one.

5. Aladdin.
I absolutely love this movie! It's funny, has a great plot, has entertaining and interesting characters, and is just overall, fantastic! Let's go over the characters. Aladdin is one of my favorite Disney Princes, he's a really great character. I also love Jasmine, and I love how she's not afraid to speak her mind, and doesn't let what other people say get in her way. (But she doesn't take it to the extreme like Ariel does.) I also absolutely love the genie, he's hilarious! ( :,( Robin Williams.) I also love the overall plot of this movie, and how they changed it. I read the original story that this movie originated from, and I honestly think that this is ten times better! I also absolutely love the songs in this movie. My favorite is "A Whole New World." Followed by, "Friend Like Me." Overall, I absolutely love this movie, but the others are less comical than this one.

4. Brave.
I used to dislike this movie, but now I absolutely adore it! It's absolutely amazing! The songs are absolutely phenomenal, my favorite is "Touch the Sky." I love the plot line of it, although this movie does rip off a couple other Disney Movies. I'm only neutral about Merida. She's like Ariel, but not as bad. She takes things to a pretty large extreme though, which bothers me, and she's very impatient, to a point where she won't even listen to her mother. I like most of the other characters though. My favorite character is The Witch, she's a really fun(ny) character. I think the best part of the movie is either the plot, the songs, or the amazing animation! The backgrounds for the animation are gorgeous, and a couple characters can look cartoony and weird, but other than that, the animation is amazing! Overall, I absolutely adore this movie, but it just can't beat any of my top three.

3. Sleeping Beauty.
I used to strongly dislike this movie, similar to Brave, but now I absolutely adore it! I used to dislike Aurora as well, but now I find her to be absolutely amazing. She's a really interesting character, I wish people wouldn't find her boring, but people will think what they think. I'm neutral about Philip, I do like him at times, but at other times I dislike him, and I don't find him to be as interesting as Aurora. I love Maleficent, although I do find her overrated, and her motives are pretty weak, but otherwise, I love her. I also love the fairies, they're really fun characters. I also love the songs in the movie, especially, "Once Upon a Dream." The plot line of the movie is really good and interesting, and although I dislike the animation, that's not a good reason to dislike a movie. Anyways, overall, I absolutely adore this movie, and I find it amazing, even though it's my least favorite classic Disney Princess movie.

2. Cinderella.
I've adored this movie ever since I was a little kid! It has everything I love in a movie! Let's talk about the characters. Cinderella is one of my favorite Disney Princesses, she's absolutely amazing. I love how kind and patient she is, and how she knows she'll be rewarded as long as she's kind and happy, which is really hard to do with a life like that. I also love Prince Charming, um, yeah.. I'm one of those weird people. I also love Lady Tremaine. She's my favorite Disney Princess Villain! I love how even though she doesn't have powers like Maleficent, and even though she doesn't have tons of people who help and assist her, she's able to crush one person's life, that's really evil and horrible. I also love the plot of the movie, I don't think it's boring, I actually find it really interesting. The romance between Cinderella and Charming is my favorite of all the Disney Princess couples. I also love the songs in this movie, my favorite is "A Dream Is a Wish the Heart Makes." I've loved this movie for a long time, then I started to feel neutral about it, and then I began loving it again. However, it cannot beat my number one.

1. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
I adore this movie SO MUCH! In my opinion, it's just absolutely perfect! The characters are amazing! Snow White is my favorite Disney Princess, she's kind and sweet, but she can be manipulative, and she's really brave, and smart too. She's able to put up with so much, and remains so positive! I also love The Evil Queen, she's a really interesting character and a ruthless villain. I also love The Prince, I think he's a very charming character. I absolutely adore the plot, it's so fun and interesting! The songs are fantastic, my favorite is, "Someday My Prince Will Come." The animation isn't the best, but this was made over 75 years ago! I think it has this amazing classic feel to it, which is absolutely amazing. This is, no doubt, my favorite Disney Princess movie.

Accidental Discrimination?
Accidental Discrimination?
Okay, so the more I think about this, the more it starts to bother me. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't recall any Disney Princesses having green eyes. What's up with that?!

Snow White: brown
Cinderella: blue
Aurora: blue
Ariel: blue
Belle: brown
Jasmine: brown
Pocahontas: brown
Mulan: brown
I think Tiana's eyes are brown too.

Even the majority of Disney's other leading ladies don't have jade-coloured peepers. I'm pretty sure Tarzan's Jane has blue eyes, as does Giselle in Enchanted. So do Alice (in Wonderland) and Peter Pan's Wendy! I can't really tell what colour Megara's eyes are in Hercules (blue...

Please Note: This is a mature subject matter. If you're uncomfortable feel free not to read.

This is my first time writing an article on Fanpop as well as on the topic of Disney but I have in fact written comprehensive articles about the place sexuality holds in American society so I at least can claim to know my facts fairly well. This is a break down on movie by movie basis exploring the sexual tones, or what I can pull since these are really films for kids, of not only the princess but also the prince as well as a few characters on the side. Let's go in chronological order!
