So, I made a long rant on Mulan in a poll, so I figured I would add more into it, and turn it into an article.

I don't think she's amazing as people make her out to be. Brave, smart, a great personality. I don't see all of that in her. She's pretty brave, but I think there are braver characters out there than just her. She's smart, but I don't think she's THAT smart, quick-thinking and smart are different. I don't find her personality appealing. She's pretty lazy and gave up too easily at the beginning of the movie. She only works hard when she's forced. Then by the end of the movie, she's completely perfect and is able to save all of China. I also don't see how she's so INCREDIBLY relatable to everyone. She's not confident that her parents will like who she really is. Well, at that point in the movie when she sings Reflection, who she really is, is a lazy, non hard working person. Well, then why should her parents find her to be this amazing person, if that's who she is? They are her parents and all, but seriously? She needs to shape up first. And by the end of the movie she's basically a flawless character. She sure goes through a huge character development, but she goes from someone who is far too flawed, to someone who's no where near flawed. It's like she's not even the same person.

They transform her because they want to fix the problem they made in the first place, but made it worse. Overall, she's uninteresting, boring, basically uneccasary, (I personally think the whole movie should have been about Shang.) is over flawed in the beginning, and a Mary-Sue in the end. She expects everyone to think she's great when she's really not. Her parents, and basically everyone. She says she tries to be herself, but she really doesn't. She's too afraid to. She claims she tries when she doesn't, she makes people do things for her, when she thinks she's doing it for herself. I'll make a man out of you, is a perfect example of how lazy she is. She's just forced, and there we go. She can do it. It's a quick sequence that shows.. She can be lazy, and not do anything until forced, and still succeed in everything she does. How is this relatable? Interesting? Doubt it. She's pretty boring throughout her movie.

Like Ariel, she complains about her life a lot, especially considering how there were Disney a Princesses with MUCH WORSE lives, and she was one of the lucky Disney Princesses, both parents alive, not having any tragedies, she just messed up her life some, and made it worse by complaining about it, and being lazy, and not fixing things herself. Who cares if she's badass? That's not all there is to her. Behind that, there's a lazy, (and lazily written.), uninteresting, over flawed turned Mary-Sue, character that is frustrating to watch. I don't know why everyone says she has the best character development. Since when? Her character development isn't well-written. It's unrealistic. She changes too much, too quickly. They focus too much on her and not enough on more interesting characters, like Shan-Yu and Shang.

Many people seem to ignore all the bad qualities in her. "She's a great role model because she develops!" "She's really smart because she made a few quick thinking decisions!" And everyone seems to think that she is the best Disney Princess there was, I still don't understand how. She's not that relatable to me, I find her uninteresting, boring, lacking character and special qualities that other Disney Princesses have, and isn't special at all. What makes her so great? I never said that she was perfect when she went to the army. I'll make a man out of you is where she's forced, and does what she's forced to do. She's pushed to do things. Oh, and then, when she could have just LEFT, (her goal was to help her father anyway, not make more trouble for herself.) she doesn't think, finds herself pushed to leave, (despite that fact that this is actually a good thing for her.) and acts without thinking.

I hate all of the, "Mulan doesn't need a man." Talk as well. She doesn't need a man? Maybe because she's a Mary-Sue by the end of the movie, she's pretty lucky, Shang is FAR more experienced than her, yet she is still shown to be more skilled than he is, despite her not even being experienced. *cough.*Mary-Sue.*cough.* Why do people always say, "Why do people not like this amazing character?" Well, there's a lot not to like. People really tend to look past things in her, I really think. I don't understand how her character development is considered the best of the Disney Princesses.

I personally, do not think she has the greatest character development. Maybe it's the "greatest" because it's the biggest difference between her character, but is that a good thing? Is it a good thing that her character changes too much, practically turning her into a different person? She seems to lose all of her flaws in one quick sequence. So, she still, trips or stumbles at the end of the movie, but that makes her a non-Mary-Sue? Everyone trips, it doesn't make you the most clumsy person on Earth because you do. Okay, so Mulan is, lazy, doesn't work until forced, cheats on easy things because she's too lazy to work for it, expects her family to fix things for her, gets herslef depressed despite not having that bad of a life.. And then one song, (I'll make a man out of you.) later, she's suddenly experianced, more experianced than Shang, and is able to do everything herself. Oh yes, a little thing standing in her way can definitely make a difference when you're Mulan, can't it? Overall, I dislike her for all of these reasons, and this is why she is my least favorite Disney Princess.

At long last, the long-awaited Favorites list I always mentioned but was too meticulous about writing and incredibly distracted from to actually finish! So sorry it took so long. I talk about things I dislike about some of the princesses, but keep in mind that I still love them all.

13. Belle:
Previous Position: 12

I respect Belle more now and even like her personality more after coming here. I just don’t care for her much or really relate to her, aside from being a daydreamer and wanting adventure when I was younger. I don't think her personality is that inspiring or original, which would be...

Okay this took quite a while. I got lost in different chinese zodiac -meanings websites some time ago and I started worder what characters princesses would be. I personally don't believe horoscopes.
This goes quite backwards as we don't know which year princesses are born. Anyway these are the results. There was no dragon or pig so put their descriptions at the end in case someone's interest.

Tiana-Rat
The Rat is hardworking, industrious and shrewd. People born in the year of the Rat are also charming and have magnetic personalities. It's said that finding a poor Rat is rare, since they are good in business.

Lately, there has been some discussion on here about princesses and their personalities- specifically whether certain princesses have personalities or whether they have sufficiently rounded personalities. I thought it would be a good idea to actually look at the personalities and the different dimensions to them to get a clearer picture of just how well-developed the princesses are as characters. This is not an article about whether the princess is introverted or extroverted or personality type (I’ll leave that to LightningRed,) but the personality traits of the princesses. I will be looking...

I'm on a heroine kick, the female, not the drug. After doing that article about Jane and Kida, I decided to make my own official line-up of Disney Heriones and rank them while I'm at it. So this is sort of a list and sort of a plain article. Anyway, I kinda set afew rules for myself.
1.She has to be human, but even then the only big losses are Lady and Nala.
2.She can be any age.
3.She has to have some similarities to at least one of the official princesses.
4.Two can be from the same film.So let's get started.

10.Eilonwy
Counterpart: Aurora-long blonde hair, actually a princess
I watched her...

I've already written articles on my favorite princesses and action scenes, and now the countdow is about the "I want" songs. That's one of my favorite moments in all DP movies. Jasmine doesn't have any solo song, so I didn't include her in the countdown.

Please notice I considered the scenes as a whole, not only the song.

9. Snow White - "Someday my prince will come"
This song is short, and it doesn't help that it's showed in the middle in the movie - It doesn't add nothing about Snow White's personality. It also doesn't help that she sang it sitting on a chair, that forbidded the animation...

Here's the countdown of Fanpop's favorite princess movies.

HERE IS A HUGE BIG HUG AND THANK YOU TO CUTEDIANA AND PPGBELLE4 FOR HELPING ME PUT TOGETHER THESE RANKINGS!!
Also thank you to Cromulanfav for having many good quotes to use.

Instructions to reading the list, from AllegroGiocoso's article.

So basically here's how the process worked. I asked people that voted to rank their favorite Disney Princes, and they commented with their ranks (a total of twenty-five users took part). Like with the team articles, the ranks here are an average of the ranks of everyone that commented. A difference...

Since I have to leave for a while, I figured I would go ahead and publish what I have written so far for my Cinderella Countdown. When I come back, I will finish it!

20. The Glass Slipper- The King demands that the Grand Duke find Cinderella
You'll try this on every maid in my kingdom. And, if the shoe fits... Bring her in.
You'll try this on every maid in my kingdom. And, if the shoe fits... Bring her in.

The King is absolutely furious when he finds out that the "Mystery Girl" ran away. He calmed down once he found out about the glass slipper she left behind, and instucted the Grand Duke to try it on every girl in the Kingdom.

"Well, I love everything about the movie,...

I have been reading around this site: Picks, Articles, Etc...and it kinda upsets me that some people get angry at other people because they like a character they dont like.
Well each Disney Princess honestly brings something different into their story i guess thats why everyone seems to have different opinions on whos their favorite.

Snow White
Stands For: Pure Innocence
Snow White was the first glimpse we really got of the other princesses...who was the one that convinced us to like the others? She is in a since to nice for her own good, if you know what I mean. She has a childlike way of looking...

In honor of the beautiful Princess of the Month, Ariel, I decided to write this article and decide what the most popular/favorite song is. Here we go...

"Fathoms Below"
"Fathoms Below"

"I'll tell you a tale of the bottomless blue
And it's hey to the starboard, heave-ho
Look out lad a mermaid be waiting for you
In mysterious fathoms below
Fathoms below, below
From whence wayward westerlies blow
Where Triton is king and his merpeople sing
In mysterious fathoms below
Below, below
Mysterious fathoms below"

This is the opening song from The Little Mermaid. This is where we first meet Prince Eric, and most of...
