In order to forget about everything, Merida decided to play with the babies. They sure didn't mind her company because they LOVED her! She tickled Mace's feet and he laughed. She chased Ping around the room and he laughed. It wasn't long before she was by Mace to play with his toys. Although, Ping tried to bring alittle competition by bringing over HIS toys. "Let's not fight now. I'll play with both of yer toys!" Merida handled calmly yet sweetly. Pocahontas smiled as she looked inside Mace's room.

She walked into the kitchenette where she saw Mulan sadly puzzled. "Is everything alright?" she asked. "I wish it was." Mulan answered. "Did another relative die?" Pocahontas asked. "Oh no! It's not that. Don't worry about..." Mulan paused. "Whatever it is you can tell me." Pocahontas said. "How do I tell Shang?" Mulan asked. Pocahontas thought for a second. A sudden smile spread across her face. "When did you find out?!?" she asked excitedly.

"Afew weeks ago." Mulan answered. "Why haven't you told Shang yet?!? This is SO exciting!" Pocahontas exploded. "I don't know. I guess with everything he's been through, he needed some space." Mulan answered. She then told Pocahontas the whole story. "This child will bring him joy, comfort, and pride." Pocahontas stated. Mulan smiled. She and Pocahontas hugged each other.

Merida came into the area as she quietly closed the door to Mace's room, in which both babies were now exhausted, but sleeping peacefully. "What are you guys talkin' about?" she asked as she saw the smiles. Mulan put her hand on her stomach. Merida screamed. "How far along are you?!?" she asked. "Almost 2 months." Mulan answered. "That's great!" Merida congratulated again.

"I'm still thinking about how I should tell Shang." Mulan confessed. "He NEEDS to find out!" Merida replied. "I know, but these past few days have been hard on him." Mulan said. "You should tell him when he and John come back." Pocahontas said. "Pocahontas, I don't mean to sound rude or anythin', but I think we should let Mulan decide when it's best to tell Shang." Merida contemplated. "Actually Merida, Pocahontas is right." Mulan replied. "Are you sure?" Merida asked. "I'm sure." Mulan answered grinning.

"With all due respect Merida, I've decided Pocahontas and John should also be the godparents of this child as well." she continued. "Don't worry, Mulan. I'm not as sensitive as I used to be." Merida confessed with a smile. Merida had FINALLY shut down that demon inside her after the trip to China. Though she still had afew sparks, the demon was long gone. She and Mulan hugged each other. She also gave Pocahontas a hug in return. Later, they laughed and carried on, like the first time they met.

Leah woke the next day, the first thing she did was get ready for the day like any other day. Leah liked being the first one up instead the last one up, she headed for the stable to go for a ride. Mulan was there when she got there grooming her horse, she said " Good Morning." Leah nodded hello and mounted on Chun bareback the way Chun liked. On the trail everything was quite, Leah said to herself "Its so quite out." She looked around, nothing moved or made a sound. but she knew something big was going to happen and that day was coming. She made it home before dinner but was a tad late but she didn't mind. Dinner was quite when it was time for bed, Leah changed into her outfit and went to bed. She wondered what tomorrow would bring. Tomorrow was going to be a dangerous day.

I love how hardworking she is and I love how she doesn't take shiz from ANYONE, not even from a prince. -BB2010

Her determination. And I would love to taste one of her dishes. -Swanpride

Probably just her perseverance. -wavesurf

Probably that she's allowed to have both a warm doting side as well as a take-no-crap one. It's a nice mixture. I also love that her whole reason for working so hard is to fulfill James' dream of owning a restaurant. She is truly a family girl and has a lot of love for her parents, and her loyalty to her dad is so touching. -AudreyFreak

I love how she is very hard working...

Hi, y'all! Hope your week is going well! I want to point out one quick thing before we get into this article. I know some of the STUFF in the live-action is different, from the characters and their names to certain parts of the story, so I might actually be all over the place as I talk about the article. Just a fair warning. Now, why don't we get into it?

The characters:

Mulan:

You know what? I'm just going to talk about both versions in one piece for a second. They're both fearless, headstrong, loyal, and badass. I knew the original version was all those things, but see how the live-action version...

Second: Here is my personal break-down analysis based on knowledge of Arab/Muslim culture compared to the Disney Aladdin film.

The majority of Princess Jasmine's numerous flaws stem from the fact that she is completely inaccurate and offensive to her culture. From the clothes she wears to the way she speaks, Jasmine does not represent Arab or Muslim women at all but rather a disgraceful woman in their culture. Unfortunately, Jasmine...
