Eight months ago, I started an article series explaining my overall opinion on each princess in as much details as possible. I've decided to start over! :) Technically, we don't know if Anna and Elsa will even be included in the lineup, but like last time, I'm including them. The categories I will analyze are: original thoughts, thoughts now, beauty, wardrobe, singing/speaking voices. Also, I will be doing these in chronological order, form my least favorite princess to my favorite!

My Original Thoughts

Most of you new gents and ladies weren't around to witness my blindness to the "Frozen" hype. Believe it or not, my friends, I LOVED Elsa. She was everything I wanted in a princess, breaking boundaries, ice magic, that feeling of loneliness that was oh-so relatable since I had recently moved. Elsa surprisingly never managed to wiggle out of my top five.. until around March.

My Thoughts Now

Who knew my opinion on Elsa would take a complete 360 from love to hate? Once "Frozen" fandom took a chill pill, (even though it was a tiny one) I took a real look at the movie, especially Elsa. Rewatching the movie a few times really kicked my analyzing skills into gear. I noticed how completely boring Elsa is. Besides "Let it Go" what does she do? Oh yeah, she sends an abominable snowman on her sister :) She doesn't give a crap about the kingdom; she runs away from responsibility :) And she expected Anna to be in charge, in which she knows her sister is too naive to handle such a big job, considering she turned down Anna's plans to marry the man she just met :) [talking about stopping the winter] "I don't know how!" bitch, did ya even try? :)

One thing about Elsa that I find relatable is toward the end, when [I think] Elsa heard Hans unsheathe his sword, but didn't move. She had ruined everything, and had nothing left to give. Fits me perfectly, tbh.

Beauty

Eh, I do not even know where I am at on the Elsa beauty spectrum. Ugh, somedays I cannot handle her beautiful face; others I can't find anything gorgeous in her. Personally, pictures don't do Elsa, or any other CGI Disney Princess, any justice. To see these girls in motion is where the magic happens.

Her hair, which I used to not find that attractive, I'm in love with. Unlike my past opinions, I like the braid more than I do the bun. Elsa's eyes are stunning and look stunning in comparison with her skin tone. I'd have to critique on her nose and lips though. Elsa's nose is too long [especially in profile] and her lips too thin! I wish she hadn't plopped all that makeup on though. She looks better natural.

Wardrobe

Her wardrobe doesn't impress me that much. I mean, I like the ice dress more than I used to, but it's still not my favorite. I love the color combination of her cape and coronation gown. I also love the little amount of skin showing. It really suits Elsa's entrapped life. They're both detailed, but in all honesty, I don't find it all that special.

Voices
Speaking

When it comes to the speaking voices of the DPs, Elsa's is by far the most controversial! You either hate it or love it, there's no in between. In my opinion, it doesn't fit Elsa. She sounds too old for the part, and Idina wasn't meant to be a speaking actress. Sorry..

Singing

Idina is a powerhouse, no doubt, which makes it seem odd in comparison to her serious, plain speaking voice. Idina has so much range, it's sorta crazy. I love the intensity she brings. Personally, she gives more emotion singing than she does speaking.

Facts about Cinderella

1.Cinderella is the second Disney Princess, joining the franchise in 1950, after Snow White in 1937.

2.Cinderella is the first Disney Princess to be seen as a little girl, before Tiana in 2009 and Rapunzel in 2010.

3.Cinderella's hair color has often been the subject of debate among fans. In the original film, Cinderella's hair seems to be of a light orange tone, classifying her as either a redhead or a ginger as her hair had been offically called 'burnt orange'. In the franchise and in the Disney parks,

4.Cinderella's hair is publicized as bright yellow, making her a golden-blonde,...

In honor of Valentines Day coming up I'm making a list of my top 14 favorite love songs from animated movies. Starting with my least favorite, number 14, each day I will add a love song I like and on Valentines Day I will reveal my number one favorite love song from an animated movie and this article will be complete :)

14. One Song - Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

I really like this song because it's so romantic but it's kinda dull compared to my other favorite in my opinion...But I'm totally in love with the lyrics like
'One heart
Tenderly beating
Ever entreating
Constant and true'
that...

While the Princess Party line of DVD's had the goal of accompanying Disney Princess-themed parties, the Princess Stories line has the much more general purpose of serving as everyday entertainment for young girls everywhere. As a result, there's a significant dip in quality from the Party line to the Stories line. We're going to take and look and see just how bad that decline is!

DVD Content
Just like in my last review, I'll go over all of the categories of the DVD one at a time. But first, it's necessary to talk about the presentation. When you first pop in the disk, you're shown a young girl's...

Okay so some of you might have read link. At the time, it seemed to me like there was a group of very intolerant users who would only be offended if I wrote such an article. (Weird, I know, since many people write this article but I still didn't want the tension or drama.) Since I wasn't sure how to write a "physically beautiful" list without offending anyone, I didn't write that article and wrote one that I thought had better ideals: an overall attraction with looks, personality and demeanor combined. That being said, I do love the fairy tale versions of Princesses who were always the "most...

As I mentioned in its first part that this article is for those princesses who got their wedding in original or a sequel. I have re-imagined the gowns for all the princesses as honestly, I don't quite like the ones Disney has shown. The dresses lacks the effort as much as they deserve in my opinion. A princess wedding gown should be thoroughly thought through and designed. Cinderella's and Mulan's are by far the only wedding dress that actually fits their personality the most, in my opinion.

So here's my selection of the re-imagined wedding gowns for the remaining princesses.

When I comment on one pick and other fans wonder why I say so, it inspires me to make an article to explain more in the best way. I find a lot similarities of Elsa with Periwinkle (Secret of the Wings), Ralph and Vanellope (Wreck-it Ralph), Zarina (The Pirate Fairy), and Maleficent (Maleficent).

John Lasseter's Blue and Spikey "White" Hair
John Lasseter's Blue and Spikey "White" Hair

Similarities between Periwinkle & Elsa:
- Both have ice power
- Both ice are spreading quickly like fire (okay, not definitely Periwinkle's ice but ice from Periwinkle's place)
- Both have white hairs, or whatever platinum blonde which looks...

For such a successful and expensive film, Frozen's complete lack of diversity (particularly ethnic diversity) really vexed me. Frozen has four main human characters and out of the four:
- Four are white
- Four are all apparently straight
- Three are blonde
Looking at this, you can tell there is very little variation in Frozen's main cast. In ethnic terms, there really is no excuse of this. Frozen needed more POC.

I have heard one main argument (read: excuse) why Frozen didn't have any racially diverse characters (and no: I am not counting black background characters). Some say that Frozen...

One of the articles on my to do list and I went with this one because I knew it wouldn't take me too long to make it. Anyway this is my personal opinion on the best Disney Princess singing voice and I have a feeling most will disagree with me but that's kind of something I'm used to.

12.Merida
Peigi Barke
Peigi Barke
It turns out that Merida actually does sing in her movie, well sort of. Young Merida sings Noble Maiden Fair with her mother, which is a beautiful song. Now her voice is nice for a little kid but it can't compare to the other voices obviously. Also sorry to break it to you guys but we don't...

Forget about all of your opinions on Hans. Just for a minute forget about any of his scheming or backstabbing that happens later in the movie. Imagine that you came into to this movie not expecting a villain, or at the very least expecting Elsa to be a villain. What would be the impression you would have of Hans?

My bet is that it would be almost the exact same as Anna's. In the first hour of the movie, Hans gives no implication that he is anything other than what he appears. A kind, gentlemanly, slightly awkward young man who is looking for a sense of adventure and a way to escape the overbearing...
