Here's my quick top10 favorites of Disney Princess movie songs. I get stuck to a new tune or lyrics far easily, if its hummable and peppy especially. I like listening to songs and don't have particular fixed tastes in genres. Though i find, i tend to gravitate towards pop, rock and Indian music. Very rarely I enjoy classical music, although some that I love become my all time favorites and they don't die-out. I guess that's how classic music is. Anyways, this is my current list of top 10 favrorites songs from DP movies, it keeps changing for sure as I move onto newer songs.

10. I see the light:
I have recently taking a liking to this song. Its sweet and have such pleasant romance in it that it makes me sigh. I love the lyrics, they kinda feel personal to my story with my husband. Chorus is just fabulous, I simply love the lines "And the world has somehow shifted", it suits the situation so well. Zack's duet adds much charisma to it as well, Mandy Moore has given such a sighing soft note to this lovely piece.

9. Be our guest:
I love this lively song dedicated to french hospitality and cuisine. I can never ever get over its fabulous animation and Lumiere's act in it. A perfect celebratory lyrics, a very unique composition and totally mesmerizing animation.

8. Colors of the wind:
I love this song for its meaningful and profound lyrics. I think Stephen Schwartz has outdone himself with one of the most beautiful metaphors "Colors of the wind" I love the animation here as well, but far more, the lyrics of the song always get me thinking of us as human race and how we treat each other. It sends a shiver down my spine, the final lines
"You can own the earth and still
All you'll own is earth until,
you can paint with all the colors of the wind."

7. Dig a little deeper:
Ahh, my recent favorite and is rising chart slowly. I just can't get the upbeat, fun tone of this song. I'm singing this song in shower these days (haha). What i love about this song is the meaningful lyrics, a great message, delivered in most fun ways. I like how Mama Odie is pitching in with "Tell the people Mama told you so". Its just fantastic! Oh, this song has got me hooked into itself and got me exploring back some jazz music, to liven me up.

6. Reflection:
Although, I do not sing this song often, it's always there in my playlist. It reminds me of my problems with my mom, and how it used to make me feel when i wanted to be someone else, and knew it would just break my family's heart. I have a great nostalgia factor with this song. It truly describes the the tussle between heart and head that one often goes through, and it certainly did was troubling Mulan. it brings out those emotions out in open and put words to that internal tug-n-war.

5. Into the open air:
It has this beautiful, positive hope that emanates from this song and its music. It always lifts me up. This song also is quite close to my heart, for same reason as above, for not being able to communicate my problems to my mom, having loved her so much and knowing she loves me too. This song often tears me up. And i simply love its lyrics, each word a echo of my own feelings. Julia did fine for Merida, and i love how the music is so unique, Scottish Gaelic.

4. Part of your world:
Oh, needless to say, Jodi Brenson is the best singer Disney's ever had, imo. She just gives that amazingly thrilling, exciting, throaty pump of energy to Ariel's longings. Although, I somehow do not like the lyrics personally and it makes me think of Ariel a little less of who she is as a person, but this song has this indescribable feelings that gives me goosebumps whenever she takes on a high note or simmers down to a whisper.

3. Almost There:
Great lyrics, great voice by Anika Noni and unbeat, music that gets me going to work everyday. This song has such a positive vibe to it, and it makes me feel hopeful towards my dreams and that i will make it there. And yes, when Anika also takes on the high notes, she rocks!

2. Tale as old as time:
My all time favorite song. a classic masterpiece from Alan and Howard. What a phenomenal music composition, amazing lyrics and an unforgettable animation. There's nothing ordinary about this song for me. Every single element is mesmerizing. The song has the softest build up and flourishes into amazing notes. I equally love its pop duet by Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson. I feel as much as its message of Lover being universal and timeless feeling, it has an equally befitting timeless music to it.

1. Friend Like Me:
The best song ever in Disney, imo. The legendary music and lyrics - fun, witty, positive, upbeat and yet emotional at the same time. I have sung this song with my friends numerous times when we were in high school and in college. We have laughed together on this song and cried on our farewells. And I'm soo sooo lucky that i do have friends now, who are well worthy of dedicating this song to. Robin Williams was truly a genius and had uplifted the song to have that "showstopper" quality.

There are several other songs that i love for their meanings and their music and the feeling that they evoke in me, but yes, currently this is my top 10 favorites. Credit to all the users on fanpop, tumblr, pinterest and anonymous users on google who made these wonderful song quotes images.

Would love to hear from you all, as always!

This message is about the previous article I wrote which expressed why I liked a character and said some nice things about her and I think it's been misinterpreted. Some people thought I "shoved Elsa in their face" and that was truly not my intention. I just wanted to apologise:

I'm so sorry, I honestly didn't mean to shove anything in your face. All I did was ask why anyone hated the Disney Princesses - I wasn't calling anyone stupid at all. And I wasn't using shallow reasons to get people to like her; I wasn't trying to get people to like her at all, but just to show some appreciation for...

Now we come to the top 20 and overall people either find these girls really pretty or beautiful, some even gorgeous, with a few exceptions from some fanpopers. Just like with the other articles I will state fanpop's opinion along with my opinion. Please comment but keep in mind this isn't my opinion, this is fanpop's opinion. Enjoy!

20.Zarina

One of the newest Disney heroines and apparently she did pretty good for herself by getting into the top 20. First of all a few people complained that she was the only Disney Fairy besides Tinkerbell that made it into the countdown but they don't realize...

12. Mor'du
Yeah, I don't really consider him a villain, he leaves the smallest impact on me.

11. Ratcliffe
He's no evil mastermind but at least he makes me laugh. Who can take him seriously though? He wears pigtails and wants to be covered in glitter.

10. Lady Tremaine
She is this high because I actually think she's a good villain, making one person's life miserable is cruel as heck. But I just don't like her, she's a bit too despicable... and boring.

9. Jafar
Jafar is an okay villain, I like Iago way more than I like Jafar though. Not to mention that Iago does most of the dirty...

Ok so I decided to do an article on what Disney movie that you love says about the person.SO lets get cracking and I will give a verdict as to what film I sorta relate to as an example.

No particular order.

Tangled-You love to venture out on your own and you dealt with a man who was like Flynn Rider who really wasn't that bad at all.You love being artistic and you are rather emotional. You also love to go off on a boat ride and wish to see the lanterns.

Verdict: Yes I have dealt with a guy in the past that was like Flynn Rider. No he wasn't my boyfriend but we were polar opposites of one another....

I haven't written an article in forever.. :c Fanpop is just kinda meh for me right now. Anyway, I was inspired to do my favorite hair! This is hair in general, not a certain hairstyle. I decided to not include the CGI princesses though (Rapunzel, Merida, Anna, Elsa) because they're all high up on this list. And I'm lazy and their hair is difficult crap to edit. :'D

9. Belle

Belle's hair just isn't my favorite. I was never a fan, and I may never be a fan! The color is nice enough, but a bit dull. She has a weird hairline and it just looks super stringy. I never thought it looked greasy, but I...

I tried to express how I felt because I wanted to have a favorite Princes list so bad... I know people will disagree with my list but to each their own ^-^

11. John Smith
Believe it or not, I do not hate John Smith, not anymore at least. I actually feel bad for placing him here since he gets so much flack nowadays but I'm afraid the other Princes just appeal to me more. I do respect him, he has redeemable qualities and his several sacrifices are admirable. But his arrogant nature gets on my nerves, what is he so arrogant about? So cocky that he even assumes Pocahontas likes him. He is bland and...

Bonjour! This is a countdown of favourite disney heroines. These do not include animals as I will be writing a similar article like this soon about animals. I love all of the heroines but I just have favourites as I'm sure most of you do as well, and I'm sorry if some of your favourites don't make this list - even if you believe they should.

Let's get started shall we?

10. Snow White

I think all of the Princes are decent looking even if I'm not all that attracted to most of them. I know Hans is not a Disney Prince but I decided to include him.

12. Prince
I'm sorry Prince, I love you but I can't get passed those red lips. He's just too feminine looking. But I must admit, he has better features than Charming.

11. Charming
I think Charming has good looks on his side. I love his smile, a smile can go a long way. But he's still veryyyyyyyy generic looking. He looks like he could be Ken's twin brother.

10. John Smith
I can tell John Smith is good looking, with those...

When I watch disney movies I feel like I belong because I'm like some of the characters that I've seen!

5)Anna
When I was young I believed in love and still have and I'm clumsy I fall on the floor and couch and I always end up with a bruise or a broken bone.

4)Elsa
I love to sing but I keep it hidden inside and I'm afraid that everyone will judge me and find out I'm different from everyone around me.

3)Belle
I love to read books and sometimes I prefer them more then movies.

2)Rapunzel
I love dreaming, begin crazy and finding hope to find the dream I've always wanted.

1)Pocahontas
I love my family and friends and sometimes I want to take charge to free my soul and Paint with all the colours of the wind.
It's been ages since I wrote this article last time, I've only written this article once so this is my 2nd article, hope you'll like this article :)

Snow White - link

If you change some of the lyrics this one totally suits Snow White, she knew that her stepmother was dangerous, but despite that she took a bite of the poisned apple that her stepmother (who at that point was in a disguise) had offered her

Cinderella - link

This song suits most of the princesses, but I think it suits Cinderella best, after she danced with Charming she didn't have time to tell him how much she loved him,...

Click link to read my opinion on the classic era princesses and movies

My 2nd article in these series, this is about the Renaissance Era Princesses and their movies, this might be a lengthy article since it covers 5 princesses and 5 movies, anyway unlike the classic era princesses and movies my opinion on the renaissance era princesses and movies changed a lot.

Let's start with the movies:

The Little Mermaid:

This movie was my 7th favorite DP Movie before I rewatched the movie, now it has moved down to 6th, but I still think the movie is amazing, the animation is very bland, the songs are...

Coolsinger198 and I both had the same idea ironically to write a fairy article to the relations of the fairies to the princesses. But sadly her article had trouble posting, so I want to give her some credit for this since she had the same idea as me.

I watched Tinker Bell: The Pirate Fairy not too long ago and I absolutely loved it, especially Baby Tic Toc. Then I started noticing some similarities between the fairies and the princesses in further notice through the film. Quite frankly some even looked like the princesses. Although I caught the indifference through Disney heroines and sidekicks...

I feel like I don't write enough articles on here. *cough* Lemme rephrase that, I don't write enough serious articles on here. XD I just love writing, and just felt like writing about each princess. So, I'm going to do a little series article about my opinion on each DP, in order from my least favorite to favorite. So, aye, here we go. c:

My Original Thoughts
The first time watching the movie was when I was a child, and I only remembered bits and pieces, so let's start from when I first remember watching Cinderella, about five years ago.

I admired Cindy for being wishful, hopeful, etc. When I...

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs: With a Smile and a Song

I think this song showcases Snow White's optimism and philosophy of life (that you're "the one who can fill the wolrd with sunshine") very well, and it has a lovely tune and poetic lyrics.

There's no use in grumbling/When raindrops come tumbling/Remember you're the one/Who can fill the wolrd with sunshine

The strangely creative icon that MacytheStrange made for Team Tiana.
At first, there was Disney. At their time, the classics; Snow White, Cinderella, and Aurora have been immesnely popular in their times. Then the renaissance princesses came; Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, and Pocahontas. In later years, the unique and intelligent Mulan has also joined. But before Tangled, Brave, and the most popular: Frozen... there was one film which after 20 years, brought back magic, family, and the true vision of the later Walt Disney Animated Studios company. The Princess and the Frog graced the silver screen, and Tiana won gold in our hearts. The bumblebees of Team Tiana present...

She stands out, doesn't she?
Belle is my favorite princess! Well, her and cinderella are battling to the death for my #1 spot; Anyway I hope to do this with all of the princesses, Belle is the second princess I've wrote an article on, I just recently did one about Mulan :D *dwarf voice* Yes, recently. With out further introduction here are the reasons I love Belle.

The first couple of scenes of the movie, we could see her talking enthusiastically to the baker about a story she just read. Then, she proceeded to go to the bookstore and got a book that she read all the way to her home. Now, this gave positive remark to all...
