Who doesn't love travel?
Well, I mean, I'm sure there are people who, beyond my comprehension, don't enjoy exploring other parts of the big wide world. But I love travel. And I'm sure the Princesses would too. So here are the places the Disney Princesses would enjoy vacationing to. *Disclaimer: I have never been to these cities, so if I sound stupid, have mercy! I got most of my information from the internet.*
Snow White: Glorenza (Glurns), Italy
Snow White would love to visit this tiny town in northern Italy, near the border with Switzerland. Since it is so small, with a population of only around 894 (2014 estimate), Snow's sweet personality would be right at home. It has beautiful mountains, which she would love to hike around to enjoy the nature, and since Snow is from Germany, she would get along quite well since most of the village speaks German. The village has strong German influence also.
Snow White would fly from Munich to Milan (then traveling by road to Glorenza) with a layover in Zurich, via Swiss Global Airlines. Here are some outfits she might wear for her trip: link
Cinderella: New York City, USA
Cinderella is a dreamer, and NYC has always been a place for dreamers. She might not be making a new start for her life like so many others, but I believe she would enjoy shopping the city's fashionable areas, since she seems romantic and stylish. If she wanted to go to the ball so much, then certainly she would enjoy a big, sophisticated city like New York. Besides, I'm sure she would make friends with the pigeons!
Cinderella would fly from Paris (I'm guessing that's where she'd fly out of, since she lives somewhere in France) to New York via Air Transat. Here are some outfits she might wear for her trip: link
Aurora: Paris, France
Paris is a dreamy and romantic city, and Aurora is a dreamy and romantic princess. So what better city for her than this famous destination? This would be a great vacation for her and Philip, because it is known to be a great destination for lovers. They could dine at one of the city's many sophisticated restaurants, and walk around to see the fountains and historical statues. Aurora would also enjoy shopping, as Paris is known for it's fashion.
Aurora would fly from Munich (it is unknown where she lives, but her film's architecture suggests Germany) to NYC via Air France. Here are some outfits she might wear for her trip: link
Ariel: Miami, Florida, USA
Ariel would really enjoy this city for many reasons. One of them is quite obvious- the beach! Miami is famous for it's coastline, and Ariel would feel right at home among the sun, sand and surf. Another reason is that Miami is known to have fun nightlife, not to mention the most attractive people of any US city, and since Ariel has always wanted to "be where the people are", Miami would have endless fun in store for her.
Ariel would fly from Copenhagen (her story takes place in Denmark) to Miami via Air Berlin, with a layover in Dusseldorf. Here are some outfits she might wear for her trip: link
Belle: Edinburgh, Scotland, UK
Belle loves to read, so Edinburgh, which was UNESCO's first City of Literature, would be a great choice for her. Many famous works of literature took place there. In addition, Belle longs for adventure, so she would enjoy walking through the streets, which have old-fashioned architecture, and the marvelous historical sites like Edinburgh Castle.
Belle would fly from Paris (it is unsure where in France she lives) to Edinburgh via Hop! Airlines. Here are some outfits she might wear for her trip: link
Jasmine: Singapore, Singapore
Ask me, what is there for Jasmine to do in Singapore? Well, the answer is: pretty much everything! Jasmine has always longed to get away and see the sights, have adventures, and there's plenty of that in Singapore. The city is rich with culture from traditional to modern, with many shopping, eating, sightseeing and nature activities to do. Jasmine would make up for lost time in the palace by doing anything and everything in Singapore.
If she wasn't planning on taking the flying carpet, Jasmine would fly from Baghdad (I think her movie setting is based off of Iraq) to Dubai via Flydubai, then to Kuala Lumpur and then to Singapore via Malaysian Airlines. Here are some outfits she might wear: link
Pocahontas: Amazon Rainforest (Manaus), Brazil
Pocahontas is close with nature, and there are hundreds of nature-lover destinations she could go to, but I picked the Amazon because of it's famous biodiversity. She would get to the city of Manaus, because it's a main hub for travelers exploring the Amazon area. She would hike into the jungle or visit the serene Land of Waterfalls, where she would enjoy peace in nature and explore the wildlife. She might also enjoy going to the Meeting of Waters, where the Rio Negro and Amazon rivers meet in a swirly formation.
Pocahontas would fly from Richmond to Orlando via JetBlue airlines, then to Brasilia then Manaus via TAM Brazilian airlines. Here are some outfits she might wear for her trip: link
Mulan: Athens, Greece
Mulan is dedicated to her family, and Athens was rated as a great city for family vacations. They could tour the ancient ruins there, which Mulan might find interesting, especially learning about the warriors and legends there. There are also many tours and museums they could take as a family, as well as boat tours that Mulan's entire family could enjoy.
Mulan would fly from Beijing to Athens via Aeroflot Russian Airlines with a stop in Moscow. Here are some outfits she might wear for her trip: link
Tiana: Lyon, France
If Tiana wanted a break from running her resturaunt, she might go to Lyon, the second French city on the list. Lyon (and France in general) is famous for it's delicious food. The restaurants are called bouchon and they serve delicacies such as fancy aged cheese and dumplings called quenelles. Aside from that, Paul Bocuse Les Halles is a market run by a famous chef, and it's many delicious ingredients are used by chefs in the area. Tiana would be itching to shop there to whip up some meals of her own.
Tiana would fly from New Orleans to Washington DC and then Brussels via United, then to Lyon via Brussels Airlines. Here are some outfits she would wear for her trip: link
Rapunzel: Tokyo, Japan
Rapunzel would enjoy the quirky wonders and culture of this large city. Her artistic side would enjoy visiting the Nezu Museum of art or shopping at Okadaya, a shop filled with various sewing and fashion supplies. She could wander the "kawaii" streets of Harajuku or dine at one of Tokyo's many great restaurants. In fact, there are so many fun things to do in Tokyo that, like Jasmine, Rapunzel would do as much as possible to make up for how she was locked up for years.
Rapunzel would fly from Munich (her story takes place in the same area as Snow White) to Tokyo with a stop in Rome via Alitalia. Here are some outfits she could wear for her trip: link
Merida: Machu Picchu, Peru
I considered just going for Mount Everest for Merida, since she'd definitely be an adventurous traveler, but that seemed a tad too extreme, and Machu Picchu seemed more her thing- Merida would just love to explore the beautiful, rugged land of the Andes Mountains and Atacama Desert, and especially view the ancient site of Machu Picchu, one of the top ten Wonders of the World.
Merida would fly from Edinburgh to Amsterdam and then to Lima via KLM, then to Cuzco via LAN Airlines (do you think airport security would search her hair??). She would then have to take a train to Aguas Calientes, the city near Machu Picchu. Here are some outfits she might wear for her trip: link
