Here's the article for Pocahontas!

I know in the past I've made comments about how I don't like this movie because it's been said that the tale of Pocahontas saving John was a lie and I've also said I can't stand Pocahontas and John together because it's gross Pocahontas was aged up for this movie. However I will watch this movie and just enjoy it without thinking about those things.

By now you should all know what I write about in these articles so I'll just go ahead and start!

Tonight's rewatch: Pocahontas
Last time watched: Summer of 2011

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
Okay I didn't love it but I didn't hate it. This was a movie I loved to watch as a kid but at some point in the movie I would lose interest. Every time it was always after Colors of the Wind ends that I don't pay too much attention anymore. But as I got older I liked to watch the movie all the way through. I know even now I'll still enjoy this movie so I'm not expecting my opinions to change about this movie

How much of this movie have I forgotten:

Since I watched this movie recently compared to Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Sleeping Beauty there isn't much I have forgotten about this movie. I would have to say one thing I forgot about was the animation for the people. I used to think Pocahontas' appearance was bland compared to the other princesses, I still think her face is a little bland I still love the realistic expressions on her face.

The characters I like or dislike is about the same; I still love Meeko while Flit annoys me a little, and Wiggins is still my favorite character in the whole movie. Ratcliffe is definitely a forgettable villain, while he does try to start a war between the Native Americans and the settlers, he doesn't really do anything except shoot John at the end and shoot Namontak earlier in the movie. He doesn't leave as much of an impact as Ursula or Jafar.

When I was a kid since I wasn't that invested in this movie there were some things I never really understood like the "strange clouds", why the settlers were digging (yes, even after hearing a song about why they were digging), why Pocahontas was sneaking around following John instead of just going up to him to introduce herself, the fact that she randomly spoke English, or Pocahontas's epiphany about the spinning arrow in the climax. I also never knew about racism at the time so I never got why the Native Americans were referred to as savages or why they hated each other.

The Meeko vs Percy scenes are still as funny as I remember, I always preferred their fights scenes over the mice vs Lucifer scenes in Cinderella.

I'm still not a big fan of John Smith and Pocahontas. I try to give this couple a chance but then I remember that if it weren't for the fact that she was a beautiful woman he would have shot her and then there's the fact he insulted her people, her intelligence, and her culture and never even apologized. I can let that second reason go because he defended her people and even saved her father from getting shot but the "almost shooting Pocahontas" thing is definitely a big reason why I don't like them as a couple. John and Pocahontas just feels like a bland couple too, I still don't feel anything real between them like the other Disney Princess couples. That didn't stop me from being super annoyed about Pocahontas leaving John Smith for John Rolfe in the sequel though (I'll talk more about that in the article for Pocahontas II)

I still have the same opinions for the soundtrack, Virginia Company and Steady as a Beating Drum are good intro songs but they're not memorable to me, Mine, Mine, Mine, is a fun song but doesn't keep my interest, but Just Around the Riverbend, Listen to Your Heart, Colors of the Wind, and Savages are, in my opinion, the best songs in the soundtrack. If I Never Knew You is another good song but I didn't grow up with that song like I did the others and while it is a good songs, I don't like it as much as A Whole New World or I See the Light. Colors of the Wind is my favorite song in the movie because I remember when I was little I watched the trailer for this movie and it was just that song, nothing else. Even though I didn't like this movie too much as a kid I still watched this movie because of Colors of the Wind.

Princess:

I still think Pocahontas is a little bland, both appearance-wise and her speaking voice, but I love how wise she is and how much she cares for her people and she is so underrated. Pocahontas was 13 on my favorite princess list (after Aurora bumped her down last week) but now she's up at 8

Movie:

While I like this movie more now compared to when I was younger, it still didn't hold my interest as much as the other Disney movies. The characters and some of the songs of this movie are the only things I really like about this movie. Pocahontas the movie was 12 on my favorite princess movie list but now it's bumped up to 11 (sorry, Sleeping Beauty).

Rating: 7/10

How much has my opinion changed?

Not much. I still like this movie but as I've said more than once, it still doesn't have my attention the whole time unless parts I love come up.

Would I watch it again?

Yes

Next week I'll be doing Princess and the Frog!
I copy and pasted the information from the Disney Wikipedia.

Snow White

Snow White is well known for her kindness and optimism — both of which act as her greatest strengths, as they've guided her safely through the various hardships faced throughout her life. She is quick to charm, winning the trust and admiration of the Prince, forest animals, and the Seven Dwarfs rather quickly, proving her kindness and pleasant aura makes her a beloved figure. Coined as the "Fairest One of All", Snow White's beauty lies both within her physical appearance and pure heart. With no negativity within her, Snow...

Here's the final article! I got to say, I'm kinda bummed that not a lot of people participated in this but it is what it is :)

Favorite Aladdin

O and R 1

Personally, I thought Mena did a great job for the most part, but Aladdin was changed from being a confident smooth talker to a socially awkward dork (and I mean dork in a nice way). The original Aladdin had a couple awkward moments where he stumbled over the right words or said the wrong thing but they barely happened. Remake Aladdin suddenly became incredibly awkward at the drop of the hat at one point in the movie. Some people probably...

Some people say he's forgettable but I think people automatically dismiss him just because he's not dramatic, theatrical and "hammy" like other Disney villains. I personally think he's pretty badass and ruthless.

Shan Yu is actually kind of similar to Mulan in that while everyone agrees that they both do remarkable things, some people think their personalities are on the boring side but I think it's unfair to dismiss any princess who isn't overtly dreamy, bubbly or feisty in some way (Mulan) and any villain who isn't over the top and in your face (Shan Yu) as boring. There are other ways to...

Hi guys, this list is something like the K-Pop list that I made previously. Only this time, it's their Japanese counterparts. Ready?

1) Moonlight Densetsu (DALI)

Taken from the popular Japanese anime, Sailor Moon. This song has always been part of my childhood and being a Die-Hard Sailor Moon fan, the princess will support them, especially on International Women's Day!

2) Shunken Sentimental (Scandal)

This is the first time that I'm listening to it, and while doing so, I notice that it sounds like some of Paramore's songs. In particularly, Misery Business.

3) Hitohira No Hanabira (Stereopony)

Well, I'm here to show my reasons why I like Frozen’s Princess Anna (who is hated by some and loved by others). But, let's go to my reasons:
First that she is an active and emotionally strong character (yes, she may not fight with swords or bows like Merida or Mulan that are among my favorites, or have ice powers like Elsa), but she did admirable things throughout the movie like going after her sister who was isolated (even though she knew she could die from her uncontrollable powers or lost/hungry/frozen) and did not give up on her when she asked for it. And I admire this type of female...

Name: Maria.

Birthdate July 22nd of 1997, the day when Irene Bedard ( the voice actress of Pocahontas and one of my most admired people) turned thirty.

Location - Ukraine. Not the most prosperous country in the world but I hope I will live there forever. Being forced to leave my country or even my district is one of my biggest fears.

Hobbies: reading, writing stories, searching the Internet, listening to music, philosophizing, learning about other's opinion on different topics.

Favorite Disney film: Pocahontas. It is and it will always be.
I also love Tarzan, Hercules, Princess and the Frog,...

Princess Anna and Queen Elsa were relaxing in the living room of the kingdom. Anna asked "Do you miss swimming?"

Elsa said "Well I guess I do."

Anna said "Well my related friend I have a answer to your problem."

Elsa said "Problem?"

Anna said "Yes. We haven't swam in months, but don't worry. I found a private lake near the kingdom that'll be perfect for us."

Elsa said "Are sure it's a private lake? I don't wanna share a lake with like 50 people."

Anna said "Don't worry. I've been to this lake...

Frozen is a 2013 animated Disney film that has become slightly popular if you consider slightly popular to mean a worldwide hit beloved by millions of people. It has become 1 of the most popular animated films ever made as well as the most successful in theaters. Because of all that there's several people that think the film is overrated as well as people who thinks it's 1 of the best films ever made. This film is about what I think of the film.

Plot/Writing

People say that the film is about the 2 main women (Anna and Elsa). Frozen is actually about several different things. There's Anna and...

Good day, everyone! I decided to write my opinion about each princess( except Moana because I didn't watch the movie and have personal reasons not to watch it, sorry). It would be difficult for me to rank all princesses so I'll give you only my TOP-4. The rest won't be ranked, just characterised by me. Please, respect my opinion and don't write angry comments.

The princesses who are not in my TOP-4 ( random order) and why

Elsa

Elsa is relatable but I prefer admirable princesses to relatable ones. I really dislike Let it Go and its message, I really dislike Elsa's Snow Queen outfit and overall...

A year after they had a prank battle at a faraway city Anna and Elsa were at the same city again. They did some more trade business.

Princess Anna said "Do you remember the last time we were here?"

Queen Elsa said "Of course. It was a only a year ago."

Anna giggled and said "It was fun."

Elsa said "But we got chased by bees and lost our pants."

Anna said "Yeah. That was a great day."

Elsa said "Well I'm glad that the Duke of Weselton isn't here this time."

The Duke of Weselton said "I'm here this time." The Duke saw Anna and Elsa and said "It's time for...
