Ariel is very well liked, and although this is sometimes exaggerated, I like her too. Ariel is really beautiful and sweet but a bad role model. I will explain why. First of all I have to say that I love Ariel and share your thoughts instead of cursing me.

Ariel didn't follow her father's rule. Her father had said that humans were dangerous, and Ariel's mother, Athena, had died because of humans. Ariel had learned that humans are dangerous, but she still pursued the danger and fell in love with Eric after she saved him. Here is the problem. ARIEL KNEW IT WAS DANGEROUS. But Ariel did it anyway, which could be a bad example for young children. I'm not a teacher, but doing something you know is dangerous is very bad behavior.

Ariel accepted the risk. Ursula did something no villain has ever done and explained everything to Ariel, leaving it up to her to accept or not. The sea witch Ursula told Ariel everything and made it clear that if Eric gave her true love's kiss for three days, she would remain human, otherwise she would be a prisoner. Ariel knew the risk, but she accepted, risking her own life just for Eric. Hop.. Stop at this point. Yes, we need to follow our dreams, but we cannot sacrifice other happiness in our lives for it. That's exactly what Ariel did, and it's really bad.


All this makes Ariel a bad role model in my opinion.
