Disney Princess Article: Faux Disney Princesses

I know what you’re thinking, “They’re not Disney Princesses,” but hear me out: They are from Shrek, which parodies Disney films. As such, it’s not much of a stretch to assume this group of princesses are a parody of the Disney Princess.

Here we have: Princess Fiona (of course), Snow White, Cinderella (whose real name I think is Cynthia), Sleeping Beauty (whose real name I think is Princess Talia) and Rapunzel (who is really the villain).

Here are their stories:

Princess Talia - She was cursed by the evil fairy Carabosse to die on her 16th birthday, which happened, but her Prince gave her True Love’s Kiss.

Snow White - She fled to the dwarfs’s cottage after the Evil Queen plotted to kill her. When she was asleep due to the Poisoned Apple, her coffin was moved to Shrek’s swamp and during the events of Shrek 1, her sister Rose Red awakened her.

Cinderella - The Fairy Godmother made her a biological Princess with her magic.

Rapunzel - She was sent to live with her godmother, Dame Gothel, who is a good witch in this version. She met and married Prince Marco, but she eventually fell in love with Prince Charming, her TRUE love.

Shop til you drop ladies!

I love shopping! It's one of my favourite hobbies. I once did this for a poll, a couple of years ago. I thought I'd take it a step further. So this is completely in my opinion. This about choosing shops that match their personalities and other little details about them like how they decorate a home or what their hobbies are for example. The shops that I've chosen are the ones I visit, have walked past, visited online or have actually shopped in.

I've added one extra for Jasmine. One of my friends mentioned it. I checked it out online and I'm very happy with it. I hope you will be too.

The EVIL QUEEN's and Lady Treamine's real reasons for bad treatment of their step-daughters

This is my opinion only. But I believe the reasons that Evil Queen from Snow White and Lady Treamine from Cinderella mistreat the titular characters is different from the in-story explanation.

Evil Queen used the fact Snow was pretty as an excuse to get rid of an heir to the throne which I presumable that the Queen was ruling for Snow.

Lady Treamine's daughters might be older by a few months in the animated Disney movie. And back in those days older daughters were suppose to marry before younger ones.

I don't really have a reason for Edward's step-mother, Narcissa. But I assume that the Kingdom is suppose to be run mostly by a Queen?

"Well, I hope that we're not in trouble!" said Cinderella nervously. "Now, now why are the both of us in trouble? We didn't do anything wrong, she just wants to talk to us." said Prince Charming calmly.
After dinner, Both Cinderella and Prince Charming go to Dee Dee's room alone. All of the princesses, Ella, Prince Kit and Dee Dee are also in the room too. Yes, she'd LOVE to have more children in the future, but a part of her felt like her heart belonged to Mace. *I'm sure it's just my relentlessness.* she thought. However, the more she thought about it, the more her stomach turned. "Is everything OK?" Mulan asked worriedly. "I'm fine. I'm just exhausted." Pocahontas lied. Mulan knew she was lying. "You're lying." she comprehended. Pocahontas sighed in defeat.

My Original Thoughts

The first time I watched "Beauty and the Beast" was a loooong time ago. My mother loved, and still loves, that movie, along with my sister. Naturally, they made me watch it over.. and over.. and over. No matter what though, I never got a real opinion of Belle. She was just kind of there. At all my costume parties, and such, my mom and older sister always tried me to dress up in Belle attire for Halloween, but I left that for all the other girls....
