After doing the more modern princesses, I switched to the classics, who are accused of being Mary Sues a lot. (I might not do ones for Merida and Tiana, since they pretty obviously aren't Mary Sues). Starting with Cinderella.

Unique traits without contacts or hair dye- No. She has blonde hair and blue eyes, common traits.
An odd name- Yes. It'd make sense if it was explained Cinderella was a nickname and her real name is Ella, like in some versions, but it isn't in the film. 1.
Looks constantly commented on- Yes. Cinderella is described as beautiful, and the prince considers her the most beautiful girl at the ball. 1.
Always the hero- Definitely not. I can't remember her saving anyone aside from Gus, and her animal friends have to save her at the end.
Multiple characters falling for her- No, only the prince.
Gets into the relationships she wants- Yes. While she didn't go to the ball initially to meet the prince, she definitely wanted to be the girl to fit the glass slipper. 1.
No flaws or any flaws addressed or called out on- Definitely. Cinderella doesn't have any flaws aside from her slight sarcastic and snarky side, which doesn't have any negative impact whatsoever. Since this is one of the biggest traits, it's worth 2 points. 2.
Seen as perfect/angelic in everyone's eyes- Yes, definitely. Even her stepmother seems to realize that she's more perfect than her biological daughters in every way. 2.
Always loved and trusted without earning it- Yes. The prince immediately fell for her instead of all the other girls at the ball, and all the animals aside from Lucifer love her (though this makes more sense since she cares for them). Her stepfamily is portrayed as mean and evil for not liking her (which they are, don't get me wrong, but no one who isn't mean or evil doesn't like her). 2.
Love and trust from closed-off characters- No. There aren't any closed-off characters in the film aside from her stepmother, who obviously doesn't.
Other characters degraded for her sake- Yes. Her stepsisters are portrayed as inferior to her in every way. Just compare hearing her beautiful singing after their terrible singing. 1.
A rival to make her look good- Yes, again her stepsisters. Their entire purpose is to make Cinderella look good in comparison. 1.
Never fails- Sort of? She mostly fails at doing things by herself. She can't make her own dress, get to the ball, or escape her locked room by herself, but she succeeds eventually. .5.
Never injured- Yes. I can't remember a time Cinderella was injured. 1.
Always praised and rewarded without earning it- No. She definitely earned her happiness and the praise the narration gives her.
Unrealistically skilled/powerful- No. The one skill she has, sewing, her animal friends have to do it for her.
Always figures things out- No. She didn't figure out how to get to the ball, to stop her stepmother from locking her in on time, or how to escape the tower by herself.
Kind but deadly- No. She's definitely kind, but not deadly.
Tragic backstory- GOD YES. Lost her father at an early age, forced to be a slave in her own home, abused by her family. She probably has the biggest one out of any Disney princess. 1.
Skilled in a wide variety of things- No. She doesn't have many skills aside from sewing and housework, which she's forced to do.
Contradictory traits- No, Cinderella's traits were pretty consistent.
Always gets what she wants- Yes, actually. She ends up going to the ball, getting the prince, and leaving her family. The only thing she couldn't have was going to the ball in her mother's dress. 1.
Rarely shows negative emotions- No, actually. She gets annoyed and fed up quite a few times, and breaks down after her dress gets torn apart.
A resurrection- No, unlike her fellow classics.

That's 14.5 out of 24. I'd say that's a borderline Sue. She does hit the biggest Mary Sue traits like no flaws, seen as perfect and loved by everyone who isn't a villain, and others being put down to make her look good. But I'd say without doing tests for the other two yet that she's the most realistic classic princess.

Belle- Belle would definetly have a daughter first and son after with Adam.

Snow White- She would have 1 daughter with the Prince ( does he even have a name)?!!

Cinderella- Cinderella would first have a son and then a daughter with prince Charming.

Aurora- Aurora would have two daughters with Prince Phillip.

Jasmine- Jasmine would have two sons with Aladdin.

Ariel- She already has one daughter named Melody but after she would have 2 boys with Eric.

Tiana- Tiana would have one son with prince Naveen.

Pocahontas- Pocahontas would have a son, a daughter and then a son with John Rolfe.

Princess Lineup (as of Dec. 2013)
Princess Lineup (as of Dec. 2013)
Hello, and welcome to my second article! I am ApplesauceDoctr, and today I shall discuss the redesigns of the Disney Princesses made earlier this year. There have been some major changes, including new hairstyles, new dresses, and of course, a ton of sparkles. How do their new designs stack up to their original DP designs? Let's find out!

I won't be evaluating these by how accurate the redesigns look to the actual character to the movie; this will evaluate how the redesign looks in comparison to the previous DP design. If that doesn't make sense, let's just begin and you'll get the hang of it....

I used to post these on the Disney Prince club but that spot looks dead :( I already did The Disney Princes I would settle down with but I don't really like it now, when I re-read some of my old articles, I sometimes cringe. Personality is more important than looks but I can't really marry someone I'm not attracted to. I'm going to make this short because it can get offensive. I saw JNTA1234 doing this with the Princesses and I laughed a lot so here we go...

I love them <3
I saw KataraLover and sweetie-94 doing these kinds of articles so I decided to do this too but with Mulan and Pocahontas.

Similarities:
They are both confused and search for spiritual guidance. Neither are very... optimistic. They have more in common than that but I will explain it all reviewing the aspects.

Differences:
Since Pocahontas follows her intuition and wanted to choose her own path, Mulan is much more obedient than Pocahontas. Pocahontas isn't into serious guys and Mulan, well... just look at Shang. Mulan is literally a fighter and Pocahontas is against. Mulan moped around a lot in the...

I've seen many of these articles on here, not many of them are that recent though. Hardly any include the CGI princesses or Tiana in extreme cases. Not offence intended
So I decided to do a slightly more up to date countdown. Hope you enjoy it! :)
IMPORTANT NOTE - This is an opinion article. if you do not agree with any of my choices that's fine but there's no need to make harsh comments.

Due to the recent 'Merida Princess Makeover Scandal' I am only judging the girls on how they look in the movie, not in the merchandise.

20. Merida

BFFs!
BFFs!
Okay, I've seen some people do friendship pairs before but I decided take it to the next level. This is my opinion on how the princess would get along, in top 20 format. It took me ages to put together and I honest to God have no idea what I'm doing. I tried my best to take in account the princesses' personalities, their hobbies and their talents. And I think I did a pretty good job.

Honorable Mentions

Cinderella and Rapunzel

There's been a slight change to Aurora's list. Basically I just copied and paste all the words and made a simple switch. There's a new #1.

5.Blake Lively
This choice is purely based on appearance because personally I think this girl is a terrible actress. But I also think she's beautiful enough to play Aurora. Besides, it's not like she has to do much.

4.Amber Heard
Now this actress actually is talented but keeps doing borderline awful projects. Amber has definitely has the sex appeal to play this role. She's one of my favorite actresses right now and I think she could do a great job....

Okay, so here are the actresses for Belle, it was pretty easy. Let's get started. This is the first list that doesn't have any "Teen Stars".

5.Leighton Meester
She probably looks the most like Belle out of all the actresses. The facial structure, the hair, everything is exact. So why is Leighton only #5? Well the next 4 actresses have to proven to be much more talented and can do twice as good of a job.

4.Christy Carlson Romano
Some of you may not know her or just don't remember her. She played Ren on Even Stevens, voiced Kim on Kim Possible. And she actually played Belle on broadway,...
