The tenth Mary Sue test. This one is for Mulan, who's called a Mary Sue sometimes (mostly by people who are bitter about her popularity, but they kind of have a point, especially with how she's always portrayed as superior to all the other princesses).

Unique traits without contacts or hair dye- Nope, she has black hair and brown eyes, common Chinese features.
An odd name- No. Actually, I'm not sure, but I'll just assume 'Mulan' is a common Chinese name.
Looks constantly commented on- No, at least not about how beautiful she is.
Always the hero- Definitely. It's kind of a given considering her movie, but she literally saves the entire country and is better than all of the other soldiers in the army, even Shang whose life she saves as well. 1.
Multiple characters falling for her- No, only Shang.
Gets into the relationship(s) she wants- No, her relationship with Shang definitely wasn't one of her main goals.
No flaws or any flaws addressed or causing a negative impact- No. Her clumsiness (though I do hate that as a fake flaw) causes her to think she'll never bring her family honor, along with her insecurity, incompetence (at first), and weakness.
Seen as perfect/angelic in everyone's eyes- No, only after she earns it. Before that, they saw her as weak.
Always loved and trusted without earning it- No. She definitely earned the soldiers' love and trust.
Love and trust from closed-off characters- Yes, Shang, though reasonably. 1.
Other characters degraded for her sake- Yes, the three main male soldiers. They're the comic relief portrayed as bumbling and incompetent to make Mulan look stronger. 1.
A rival to make her look good- You know what, yes. While Shan Yu is the main villain and rival for all the soldiers, Mulan defeats him personally without any help. 1.
Never fails- No. Mulan failed the matchmaker test, keeping her identity a secret, and winning over the soldiers at first.
Never injured- No, her being injured was what led to her being revealed as a woman.
Always praised and rewarded without earning it- Definitely not. Mulan definitely earned all the praise and rewards she received.
Unrealistically skilled/powerful- Yes. It's unrealistic that Mulan was able to be the best soldier in the army, save Shang's life, defeat all the Huns, and personally defeat Shan Yu with no prior training before the army. 1.
Always figures things out- Yes. She figured out how to defeat the Hun army by aiming at the mountain and that the Huns were still alive. 1.
Kind but deadly- That's Mulan's entire character. 1.
Tragic backstory- Yes. Not as bad as some others, but she was told she wouldn't bring her family honor and never fit in. 1.
Skilled in a wide variety of things- No, only fighting, and only after training.
Contradictory traits- No, Mulan's traits were pretty consistent, only after character development did she become stronger and wiser.
Always gets what she wants- Only by the end, where she brings her family honor and is respected by all of China, plus Shang and the other soldiers. Before that, though, she almost never got what she wanted. .5
Rarely shows negative emotions- No, she shows a lot of insecurity and sings a whole song about it.
A resurrection- No, but like Esmeralda, I'm adding half a point for waking up after unconsciousness. .5

That's 9 out of 24. That's a no. Mulan is not a Mary Sue, though she is a bit overly idealized and powerful. I can see why people would think she's too idealized, especially since the other princesses are constantly put down to praise her.

Who is the most beautiful Disney heroine ever drawn according to Fanpop princess fans? Let's find out, shall we? This list does not necessarily reflect my own personal opinion but instead shows the results according to approximately forty voters per round. We'll work our way to the top starting at number fifteen...

Kida is about eighty eight hundred years old but doesn't look a day over 22.
Kida is about eighty eight hundred years old but doesn't look a day over 22.

15. Poor Kida. Her film was considered second-rate Disney by most and her looks don't get much appreciation either. To her credit, Kida is one of the most unique princesses in appearance and personality....

Even though all the princesses are pretty and attractive, one is just abit hotter than the next. So let's get started.

10.Rapunzel
I don't know if it has anything to do with the 3D animation but I just don't find Rapunzel hot. She looks an 11 year old and she's supposed to be 18. And her face isn't all that great either, her eyes are too freaking large.

9.Snow White
I guess we're not to supposed to find Snow White hot. She is only 14 but she looks a little older than that. Probably because she looks so tall compared to the dwarves. She's too cute and baby like to be hot. I like her...

Part 1
As you may already of noticed I am a bit of a fan of the Disney Princesses and their films. One aspect about these films that I find really interesting is the kingdoms in which their stories take place, including the buildings and the general surroundings. So I decided to write an article discussing each Princesses kingdom. In this article I am looking at Walt Disney's princesses ie. the original three.

So this had been hilariously enjoyable and challenging for me! Doing a silly article can be totally fun, but be sure to respect my opinion, okay? Admit it or not, we all have some guilty pleasures. What if Disney princesses lived in the MODERN day world and had some guilty pleasure? It would be hella awesome to know about it! P.S. = Those memes are JUST FOR FUN

Snow White – Sneaking into food and being a comfort lover

Yup! Ah, taking a tid bit out of refrigerator is something pretty naughty and silly and mischievous! I think Snow would hate being on a diet, just a wild guess lol! She...

PrincessAyeka12 gave me the fabulous idea of coming up with what books and authors each princess would like to read. We already know that Belle's a bookworm, but what would the other princesses spend hours flipping through, totally lost to the outside world? I had a lot of fun with this article, since I love reading. I've read at least one book from most of these authors, although not all of them. All credit for this idea goes to PrincessAyeka12! All images made by me.

Snow White

I get the distinct feeling that Snow would just adore classic children's books such as Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures...

1. The outside of the palace is inspired by the Taj Mahal.

2. The word "Agra" is in the name Agrabah. Agra is a city in INDIA.

3. Rajah is a tiger. Tigers are a symbol of INDIA.

4. Lotus fountains (like the one we see when we're first introduced to Jasmine) are an Indian thing.

5. "Abu" is an Indian name.

People complaining about Naomi being cast as Jasmine because she's Indian need to educate themselves.

If you want a version of Aladdin with Jasmine being played by a Middle Eastern woman, then major in film and get a film degree. It's not Disney's job to please you.

As for the people complaining...

Princess Elena of Avalor. Many people are already crying out for her, loving her, loving her for the diversity she brings to the DP line...

And I just don't see the fuss.

Don't get me wrong, I do want proper representation (yes, i do, actually, even though the most cynical of you won't believe it). What I don't want is tokenism, a character that has no personality beyond what is defined for them- their skin color/sexuality/etc. It's like if Disney made a fat princess whom her whole personality revolved around food, or a bisexual princess who went around having crushes on everybody and being described...

Hello, I'm PrueFever, a 32 years old guy from Denmark and a Major Disney Fan! My all-time favorite Disney Movie is The Little Mermaid, Walt Disney's 28th full-lenght animated classic from 1989. I just love all the characters in the movie, the songs, the score and the animation. I grew up with Mermaid, it was the first Disney Movie I saw, so there's definitely nostalgic reasons as well, I'm not gonna deny that! I can always watch the movie and my mood goes up 100%! It never fails to amaze me. Also, the voice actors in this movie is spetacular! Jodi Benson is great as Ariel and even greater as...
