Princess Pea had never been a fan of the ocean. She'd always chosen not to go swimming in it for various reasons...like the fact that she had a solid gold hot tub in her bedroom. Plus, who wants to swim in salty water filled with slimy creatures and dangerous predators? But as she sunk further beneath the waves and saw the crystal light of the sun shine down through the flowing waves and the beautiful plants sway back and forth...she still despised it. Although she'd never learned how to swim, she understood the basic idea. She struggled by kicking her legs rapidly and managed to gasp for air briefly.
"Help!" she screamed, only to sink through the surface again. She managed to pull herself up again for a moment. "Someone help me, I can't swim!"
All hope began to fade as Pea sunk further beneath the waves. The last thing she could remember before losing consciousness was a dark figure swimming towards her.
She woke up in a warm bed.
"Grim, she's awake!" said a voice that oozed of sex appeal. Pea's eyes opened and her vision began to focus. Sitting on a chair next to her was a handsome young man with bright blue eyes and black hair. "Are you okay, miss? I saw you drowning and brought you to my castle. Can I get you anything?"
Pea knew what she wanted. And it was tall, dark and handsome. "Thank you for rescuing me, I'm Princess Pea."
That evening, maids helped Princess Pea into a beautiful green gown that she would wear to dinner. Pea was quite fond of Eric, the prince who had saved her life. While walking towards the dining room, she overheard him talking to his weirdo assistant with a grey ponytail.
"Eric, it's fate...you're in need of a wife and a beautiful princess washes ashore. It's a miracle."
"But Grimsby," replied the prince. "She's not the one. She's not the one with the beautiful voice who rescued me last night."
"Of course I am!" interrupted Princess Pea as she scurried towards the dinner table. "I rescued you, now you rescued me. Debt paid! So when do you wanna get hitched? Let's honeymoon in Cabo!"
Eric looked unconvinced. "You're the one who sang to me? Your voice doesn't sound familiar..."
"Ooooooh!" answered Pea. "See, I was getting over a cold when I sang to you which is why my voice was a little scratchy. Sorry about that. But I'm the one you want...I sing really good, I can do imitations too! I can pull off Britney but I'm best at doing Miley!"
"Right," answered Prince Eric. "Well, we'll talk more about it in the morning. I'm still a little shaken from the storm."
Princess Pea slept like a baby in the guest bedroom of the sea-side palace. If she could just convince Eric that she was his dream girl, she would finally get her own happy ending. The promise of tomorrow began as the sun poured down through the bedroom window the next day. She scurried down the steps to find a fat litte lady holding some rags.
"Ew, what is that?" questioned Pea.
"Oh, it seems young Eric has found yet another pretty girl on the beach," answered Carlotta.
"Excuse me?"
"He was out walking his dog earlier today and came home with another stray...washed up from a shipwreck."
"And where is the little hoebag?"
"The little what?"
"The little sweetheart."
"Oh, you'll meet her at dinner, but don't expect much conversation, the poor thing can't even speak."
That afternoon, Princess Pea waited impatiently in the dining room next to Eric, the prince she hoped to marry. From the shadows across the room stepped out a beautiful redhead in a pink ballgown.
"Okay," Pea thought to herself. "This bitch is going down..."

It's no secret that I absolutely DESPISE the movie The Little Mermaid 3: Ariel's Beginning. It's absolutely insulting, has terrible continuity, the original characters (except for Ariel) are completely different characters, Triton is a one-dimensional and exaggerated version of his former self, the story about music being banned is stupid, the villain is lame with an equally lame song, it's full of plot holes, the new characters are unnecessary and unmemorable, Athena died in a dumb way (Leave the music box you idiot), and it puts more effort into gorgeous animation and good songs (Except for...

Hello, I'm PrueFever, a 32 years old guy from Denmark and a Major Disney Fan! My all-time favorite Disney Movie is The Little Mermaid, Walt Disney's 28th full-lenght animated classic from 1989. I just love all the characters in the movie, the songs, the score and the animation. I grew up with Mermaid, it was the first Disney Movie I saw, so there's definitely nostalgic reasons as well, I'm not gonna deny that! I can always watch the movie and my mood goes up 100%! It never fails to amaze me. Also, the voice actors in this movie is spetacular! Jodi Benson is great as Ariel and even greater as...

Years have gone by and the Tremaine's had been blessed with two little girls. The elder daughter was named Drizella, after her late grandmother, the Lady Drizella Tremaine. She had curly brown hair, dark eyes, a pointy nose, thin red lips, and wore green a lot with a big blue boy in her hair. She wasn't very pretty but she wasn't ugly either, she was only plainly pretty. She resembled her late grandmother and a little bit from her mother. She also was also very much like her grandmother because of her snobbish attitude and love for the more superficial things in life. However, she didn't inherit...

I know she's always typed as an Intuitive, especially an ENFP, and it's understandable why; I had once typed her as an ENFJ myself. She does, after all, just "know" the lights are "meant for me!" But is that really indicative of someone with strong intuitive preference? I think it's because this tendency for people to type nerdy/quirky/silly ESFJs as ENFPs, not only Rapunzel but characters like Steven Universe. It gets frustrating because that just implies only intuitives are inherently imaginative.

Anyway, to the typing:

Extroverted Feeling (Fe): Rapunzel is very warm to everyone she meets....

Astrological Zodiac Signs
Astrological Zodiac Signs
Okay so I have seen some articles (outside of this site) with "Disney Princess Astrology Signs" but I always feel like they are inaccurate, most likely made by people who are not as big DP fans as the people here. I also think they assign the DPs to specific astrology signs based on their image rather than the substance of the character (i.e. Making Ariel a Pisces just because she's a mermaid or Merida a Sagittarius just because she loves archery.) That being said, I used to love Astrology when I was a teenager, as I thought it was very neat and I have always loved the stars. I had a phase...

As some of you might be able to tell, I have been in a very musical mood lately. Along those themes, I wanted to make 2 music countdowns: 1 for Songs and 1 for Scores. I love Disney's music, especially from the team of Alan Menken & Howard Ashman. I almost never like covers of DP songs by Disney Pop stars so unless otherwise mentioned, all versions here are the original ones from the film. Here are my rankings for favorite songs:

Honorary Mentions:
With A Smile & A Song - Snow White & The 7 Dwarfs (So positive and uplifting plus an excellent message.) "There's no use in grumbling...

Okay so I have read multiple places on here that "Ariel just left her family for some guy she barely knew" and variations thereof. I coincidentally enough just watched this film within the last month and remember it very freshly so I would like to contribute my opinion on this matter. First though, I would like to remind people: These Disney Princess films do not take place in a modern time and setting. Most of them take place over a 100 years ago and are during a time when most people were dead by 40 and half weren't even making it that long. To put it in perspective, the equivalent of a woman...

Hola!

For those of you who don't know me, I'm AprilGhost, and here is a list of people who, in my opinion, look like Disney princesses.

A few things, first:
1. I have not cast Pocahontas. This is partly because it is so hard to find Native American models/actresses, but also because she was a real person. I think it's insulting to dreamcast her.
2. Yes, some of these are, in fact, models. I'm not saying that these people should play the princesses; I'm just saying that that's how I imagine them.
3. I haven't dreamcasted Elsa or Merida since I can't find anyone who looks like them.

On with the list!...

We all know the step-sister from Cinderella that ends up reforming in the sequels. However, many people seem to have criticisms about her because they feel that she shouldn't have been forgiven by Cinderella, there was nothing to show that she deserved to be redeemed, and that it's ridiculous that she got to be redeemed but Drizella didn't. First of all, I think I need to explain where this idea of Anastasia reforming came from. In the original Charles Perrault version of Cinderella, Cinderella's real name was actually Ella. When she became a servant she would sleep by the fireplace to keep...

Source: This is how she would like in animated form!!!
Okay, so I already did this, but with a different method. This time, I'll just be doing the regular way I always do it. Anyways, please keep in mind that this is my opinion, and we may disagree, so respect my opinion and I'll respect yours.

Enjoy the article! :)

13. Merida
In my opinion, she definitely isn't ugly, but she's not as pretty as the rest of the Disney Princesses here. First, I absolutely LOVE her curly red hair! It's absolutely gorgeous. I also love her eyes, they're very pretty, especially with the blue color to them. However, I do have a problem with her head. Her hair is...

13. Snow White
Snow would definitely be higher on my list if her curls were more defined. I like the idea of her hair styled in a bob with a red bow. Unfortunately, that idea didn't come out too nicely to me.

12. Cinderella
Strawberry blonde is my favorite hair color and Cinderella's burnt orange hair color is no doubt uniquely gorgeous. Speaking of unique, so are her bangs but I can't say I really like them as they look like plastic to me.

11. Tiana
The little strands of curls that hang down are pretty cute. Although it doesn't look like you can do much with Tiana's hair but tie it...

"There's no one else in the castle for me to interact with... wait, what?"
"There's no one else in the castle for me to interact with... wait, what?"
The first time I saw Frozen, I felt as bad for Elsa and Anna as anyone. After all, their parents chose to keep Anna's erased memories of her sister's powers, separated them by moving Elsa out of Anna's room, reduced the staff and shut the gates so no one could learn about Elsa's powers, etc. The girls grew up in a dark, mostly empty castle. Elsa was kept isolated from everyone with only her parents to constantly coach her, and Anna was kept isolated without anyone at all.

Then their parents died, leaving them not knowing how to get on without them. Elsa was the heir but could not rule since...
