My top 3 favourite Disney fairytales movies.

Enchanted is without a doubt the best Disney film I have seen in a long time.A sweet fantasy tale all about True Love.

Ok I absolutly love fairytales as they contain magical scenes like in Aladdin where Aladdin was taking Jasmine on a ride on the magic carpet, romance like Cinderella meeting her prince ,Enchanting moments like in The Little Mermaid where Ariel gave up her life as a mermaid to be with a human. So I decided to write an article on my favourite princess movies.

1. The Little Mermaid

Since I was about 7 years of age The Little Mermaid was my all time favourite movie. Packed with a great film score from the late Howard Ashman and Alan Menken, and a great story plot, TLM was a very good movie. My favourite character was Ariel as she was a love struck teenage mermaid who like any girl fall in love. Her father doesn’t like humans as they are barbarians and Ariel of course falls in love with a prince who she saves from drowning. My favourite scene is either the boat scene or the ending. But I love it 10/10

2. Enchanted

This is my all time favourite Disney movie since TLM. With an all star cast from Amy Adams to Patrick ‘Mcdreamy’Dempsey and music from Carrie Underwood and Jon McLaughlin ENCHANTED tells the story about a love struck cartoon maiden who falls for a prince named Edward(James Marsden) who’s evil soon to be stepmother pushes the soon to be bride down a magical fountain where she becomes a real life person. What really makes Enchanted work is that it uses references from past Disney movies e.g. Snow White, Sleeping Beauty etc and it switches from 2D animation to live action in just 10 minutes. Amy Adams was a sweetheart in this movie and Patrick Dempsey as her real love interest was a hunk. My favourite scene was either the Ballroom scene or the That’s how you know scene. My favourite character was Giselle or Robert but Prince Edward was so hysterical. 10/10 for me as it was brilliant.

3. Beauty & the Beast

I always wonder why I never bought this on VHS or DVD, anyway this was another great fairytale movie as it is all about accepting a person for who they are whether there ugly or comes from a poor background it’s the inside that counts. Belle is my favourite character as she is a dreamer and quite stubborn(like me LOL).The way that she cared for the beast (aka the Prince in disguise)was so heart-warming and very sweet. Alan Menken & Howard Ashman(who died with aids at this time)were the composers for the movie. Like Enchanted they are so many brilliant scenes in it and it is a type of film that you can watch at any age.

The Little Mermaid was my all time favourite as a child. A nice animated tale packed with romance and fun.

While I was doing the youngest/oldest princess list, I was doing the sane fo rthe princes. I knew this list was going to be harder because most, if not all of the prince's ages were not mentioned in the film. But the producers who worked on the films, and Disney has confirmed some of their ages, which made this list easier. Some of the placings are not suprising at all, and others are.

All you have to do is look at him, and then look at the rest of the princes, and you will automatically tell that he is the youngest. He has this youthful appearance to him, and he is treated like a teenager...

Favorite Disney Princess Dance Scene Countdown

Sorry it took me so long to post this. I forgot about it for awhile then my computer erased all the results so I had to look those up again and it took a while. This is according to the polls and not my own opinion.

Tiana and Naveen End Dance Scene-
This is from the newest movie so it's not too surprising that it's low on the list. People said they didn't like it because it's not quite as romantic as the other ones since it's a fast paced dance and seems more like they're messing around then having a romantic love waltz.

Belle and Adam End Dance Scene-

I get most people hate Pocahontas for its historical inaccuracy, and so do I. It just doesn't seem right to me to have John Smith (who was a Pervert, Betrayer, and Conquerer) as a disney prince and looked at in such a angelic light. Since most people's agreement is "it's just a movie." And "it's not Disney's job to make teach history." I'm not asking for a historically accurate film that would be terrible for children. I'm stating it was a mistake to be made a BASED of real history story..it could have just been a random Native American but no they chose Pocahontas and they twisted and bent...

Aurora would be an uninteresting, unrelatable, totally foolish, useless princess to Mulan. There is nothing about Aurora that Mulan would appreciate.

I absolutely love Jasmine! She's got this fiery personality and is strong willed and speaks her mind. This is something I love about her, but can also put her at fault sometimes. She's a bit too harsh and feisty which makes her appear bitchy to some people. She comes across as too snappy and almost mean sometimes (like me! xD).
