The following is an apology to John Smith.
I've been a hater of him for as long as I can remember. I thought he was cocky, arrogant, unattractive and racist. Recently I purchashed Pocahontas on DVD and watched it, and I must say I've had a change of heart.

I just thought I knew you,
But now that I've had time to review,
I've found out so many things,
That pull at my heart-strings.

I just thought I knew you,
But I did not have a clue.
You used to get on my nerves,
And now I must give credit where it's deserved.

I thought you were stupid and vain,
When it came to you all I did was complain.
I thought we'd never see eye to eye.
Looking back now, I really don't know why.

And I'm just grateful to you,
I would have lived my whole life through...
Stuck in this hateful trance,
If I didn't give you a second chance.

ppv Well, I still don't love him that much. But your poem is awesome. And I love when people change their mind (of course not too often and not about too serious things, you know..), it proves that they are sensible and objective.

dweeb Looks like I'm the only John Smith hater once again. Oh well, it's your opinion. I just can't forgive a guy who once took pride in the fact that he has violently murdered several innocent "savages." He definitely has the most blood on his hands out of the princes. Thank God Pocahontas is hot and doesn't even look Native or she'd be either dead or he would kidnapped her as a sex slave.
