"Jayda, I don't what you see in him."I told my friend as she sighed dreamily.
It was hard to believe that so many girls fell for that dude. He was so much of a softy, he was 5.9, and he's just so fake to be real. But I respect my friend's judgment."Isn't he just amazing?"She cooed.
I rolled my eyes and shook my head honestly."No."I said coldly and turned my head.
She nudged me and smiled."You still starring Steven?!"She giggled.
I turned towards her and started waving my hands in the air like a manic."I do not like Steven!"I yelled. Everyone outside looked at me weird, and I glared daggers at them. They all walked off a little to quickly.
I turned towards Jayda again, and she just laughed."You know who you sound?!"She said.
I sighed and said,"What?"I could already tell who she was talking about.
She nudged me again."Courtney!"
I couldn't help but smile. Ahh, the show I used to adore. Yep, I did sound a little like her...I guess. Jayda and I must be the only ones in this entire hell hole who even know what the show is, but that's what like about her. She and I both love the same things. I looked at her lover again, and gagged....well almost everything.
"Jayda, I do not like Steven. He is completely out of my league. I still can't believe how he got on Bailor!"I spat coldly. It was true. Steven always was messing off in class-all though I found it funny-but it was very hard to see the intelligence when he was always acting so stupid.
I believe him. The way he keeps putting himself down everyday, is pathetic and just a waist of life. I try to confront him, but he just waves me off. He's stupid and I'm smart. No way would I like him.
Suddenly I felt someone bump into me, hard enough for me to fall straight on the ground."Oww!"I winced. I looked at my elbow notice a deep cut, and blood streaming through. I looked up at who had pushed me and growled."Look what you did, you idiot!"I spat.
Steven. Of course, who else would be stupid enough not to run into me."Oh shut up your not even hurt."He spat back.
I stood up and poked my bleeding elbow in his face."I'm not hurt huh-"Sarcasm"-maybe next time, you should watch were your going!"I yelled at him, poking his torso.
He grabbed my figure and grinned."Maybe should stop being so hot!"He mocked.
Oh man, haven't heard we all this before? I asked mentally.
I yanked my figure out of his grasp and glared at him. I walked over to Jayda."Could you take me to the nurse, so I don't stay out here, this thing."Was I that cold hearten?
She gave a small but out of character grin."Uh sure."She said.
"No!"I heard someone say. Steven grabbed Jayda's arm."No, let me, I was the one who pushed her down. I should be the one to take her to the nurse."He insisted.
I was about to rejected when Jayda grabbed my arm and pulled me to Steven."Sure, take her. What else do you got to lose?"She said sheepishly.
"His mind, oh wait, to late."I muttered. He just nudged me forward towards the door."Would you stop pushing me. You better be glad I didn't tell on you. You mindless psychopath!"
He just smile devilishly."You didn't report me because you didn't want me be out of class next period. Because you and I both sit by each other in math. Isn't that right? You sexy psychopath!"He as he made kissy faces at me.
I wiped it off and rolled my eyes."Shut up! I'm not talking to you."Why did I just say that?
He gave me a knowing look."Uh Kayla, you do know, telling me your not talking to me as actually talking me?"He explained.
I didn't respond. I knew that boys would make idiotic statements so that girl would retaliate, and I'm not one of those girls. I know how boys work, and I wasn't going to the one to stoop to this boys level.
"Ain't talking, I see, The 'Silent Treatment'. Yeah, if you guessing not talking to be is a way for me to come to you. Than your wrong. Girls love me."He announced.
I snorted.
Yeah, love you to die! I held back everything in me not to laugh, but failed.
He stopped and looked at me as if I was some fool. I clenched my stomach as I laughed my guts out. I wiped a tear away from my eye.
"Wow. That some laugh you got there."I ignored him. I will not stoop to his level."Hey-"I turned my head, and gave him 'What the hell do you want' look."Me and you, on the phone."He did that stupid touge flicking thing, and made another kissy face.
I rolled my eyes. I sighed in relief once we reached the nurses office. I opened the door, when I saw from the corner of my eye, Steven following me."Stay. Even you should comprehend what that means."I said, but despite that, he followed me in anyways."Or not."
I went the clipboard, and signed my name for the nurse. I sat 2 seats away from the other low-life loser that were either sick or had a bloody nose. One girl, that was in my gym class-that I despise most-decided to break the silence."So, why are you in here?"She asked, coldly.
I looked at the idiot seating next to me and back at the girl."This thing pushed me down."I said.
"Correction: She was in my way, thus us colliding together."He explained.
I rolled my eyes, and groaned deeply. I looked at my elbow, as blood dripped down to my forearm. I saw some tissues across the way, and I was about to get up, when Steven found his brains and did it for me.
He handed me a couple of tissues."Uh, thanks."I said, pressed it on my elbow.

"That is the biggest the bandage I have ever seen in my life."Steve said, as we both walked out of the nurses office, and headed off to last period...math.
I looked at it. He was right. It was even bigger than my hand."Big cuts, bug bandage. Kinda in the same category."I said, causally
Steven smirked."Woah!"I jumped, from the looks of it.
Okay, this is just to familiar fro comfort. I said mentally.
I looked at him crazy and grabbed his face."Are you trying to seduce me. Because smirking, is so overrated."I exclaimed. I looked at him and smiled."Have you ever tried a Mohawk. I think it would look cute, and maybe even if it's green."
What am I saying?
Steven raised an eye brow."Are you okay? Because we a girl takes madness, that means she loosing some of her brain cells. I can't let that happen. Maybe we could do something that would get you back to your normal self. Do you want to push again? Wanna make out?"
I pushed him playfully."Shut up. I don't like you. And push me again, I will hurt you physically, and mentally."I grinned and devilishly.
He patted me gently, and grabbed my forearm."I never said you like me."He said.
I got nervous. My heart started thumping like mad. And his touch....it made me squirm. I struggled for words, but nothing came out.
"So you do like me. Damn! I never knew the hottest girl in the school would have the hots for me."He announced proudly.
I couldn't help but smile.
He thought I was the hottest girl in the school. I sighed and gave him a lovey dovey smile.
He looked at me, and grinned, than kissed my cheek."But I think we should just be friends."He added.
I was bit heart broken. I nodded and hugged him."Uh!"I punched him the shoulders. He winced in pain, and looked at me shocked."Thats for pushing me down."I smiled and hugged him."This is for everything else."
Once we arrived in class, everyone looked at us. There eyes grew wide.
"Ooo Kayla."I hear Ma'kayla say.
"Get it Steven."Teavon hooted.
Steven glared at him went to his seat. Next to mine. Marcos that sat on the other side of me gave Steven a high five."S-So, you guys dating?"He asked.
"No, eww. No way."I gestured.
Steven rolled his eyes. He knew I was just playing along. Might as well go back to harrassing each other than have everyone annoy us about us being friends.
I Ms. Tracy-my math teacher-clapped her hands to et our attention. I glanced at Steven, and saw him glance him back at me. He winked at me, and I couldn't help but smile.
Oh, hippie romance, don't you love it.
