Pick up from hotel for day tour to Petra and Wadi Rum from Aqaba. Start at Petra meaning ‘stone’ is an Arabian historical and archaeological city in the Jordan. Petra’s location between the Red Sea and the Dead Sea.It is a vast, unique city, carved into the sheer rock face by the Nabataeans, an industrious Arab people who settled here more than 2000 years ago. It is an important center for commerce where Arabian incense, Chinese silks, and Indian spices were traded. It is famous for its rock-cut architecture and water conduit system. You will visit the Siq Canyon, the Treasury, Street of Facades, Royal Tombs & Pharaoh’s Castle then you will be transferred to Wadi Rum also known as The Valley of the Moon. It is a very spectacular desert resort that is situated in south of Jordan, about 70 km to the north of Aqaba. It is the largest wadi in Jordan. Wadi Rum is one of Jordan’s main tourist attractions being the most stunning desertscape in the World. The name Rum most likely comes from an Aramaic root meaning ‘high’ or ‘elevated’ To reflect its proper Arabic pronunciation, archaeologists transcribe it as Wadi Ramm. You will arrive to Wadi Rum to enjoy Jordan desert canyons, beautiful landscapes and Bedouins in Wadi Rum Protectorate. Then return back to Aqaba.

8 hours day trip from Muscat to Ayn al Thawara, it is the perfect picnic spot. Along with its fort, Nakhal is also famous for its hot springs. These are found a short drive through the date palm groves leading out of the village from below the fort. At quiet times of the year, Ayn al Thawara is a pleasant place for a picnic either on the banks of the wadi in the shade of the palm trees or at one of the covered picnic tables.
