Start the overnight safari trip at famous Wahiba Sands famous for an exhilarating round of “dune bashing” in 4 WDS. Stop to enjoy Omani coffee and dates at the Bedouin home, camel riding is optionally avaiable then a picnic lunch will also be served en-route. Overnight stay at the DESERT Bedouin camp.

The setting of the Bedouin camp in the bare wilderness, its serene environment offers remarkable experience that starts with a golden sunset, continues with a densely-starred sky and concludes with the soft light of a desert dawn. The Bedouin style accommodation (Desert Nights camp is air-conditioned) under a roof of starry skies and enjoy the once in a lifetime experience!

An Arabic meal, Omani coffee and dates are also available. Breakfast at the camp the next morning. then proceed to Wadi Bani Khalid, there you can enjoy the spectacular views of the fertile valley with its spreading trees and abundant water that tumbles down as waterfalls in some areas to form natural pools of water.

On the way back to Muscat you will pass through the town of Sur, where we will stop to see the fishermen’s harbor and the traditional dhow building yard. Next drive to the rugged Wadis of Tiwi/Shab which This wadi is arguably one of the most gorgeous destinations in Oman. Beyond the breathtaking entrance, the wadi rewards you with views of aquamarine pools, waterfalls and terraced plantations; kingfishers add glorious splashes of colour.

Next proceed to the Bimah Sinkhole, a natural hole in the ground created by a collapsing mountain. The hole is filled with bluegreen sea water, before finally passing through the village of Quriyat, guarded by its 18th century fort before entering the city of Muscat.

Drive to Barka to visit fish market and witness local people how they barter fresh catch fish. Proceed to visit Rustaq South Al Batinah region, surrounded by the central Al Hajir mountain range and an abundance of date palm groves and Aflaj.

Rustaq is an area of healing warm springs, the most notable being Ain al Kasafa. Its waters runs at 45°C and are regarded as a cure for rheumatism and skin diseases due to its sulphur content.
