Pick up from Izmir hotel to visit the modern city of Izmir. It is the provincial capital of western Turkey and the third-largest city in the country. We will visit the Archaeological Museum which houses many artifacts found in the Agora then continue to Agora of Smyrna, built during the Hellenistic era at the base of Pagos Hill. It was the commercial, judicial and political nucleus of the ancient city. Walk on Kemeralti where we can see the famous Kizlaragasi Han (Inn)- a beautiful example of 18th C Ottoman architecture.
