Ami was born in the kingdom of Solaria into a family of 4. Her mom, her dad, her and her little sister. The family was wealthy and lived in the upper-class part of their kingdom. Everything was going just fine for Ami. It was when she entered an elemental high school near her hometown that things started to change.
She met another earth user like herself named Hannah. She happened to be a year older than Ami. The two had become fast friends with Hannah teaching Ami all kinds of techniques.
Everything was fine until Ami's senior year there. Her family suddenly started to lose their money at a rapid pace. In a few months, they had half as much money as they used to have. Then to make matters worse, Allie, Ami's little sister suddenly went missing on her way home from school. She was only 12 at the time.
Eventually, Ami was able to figure out what had happened. It was simple. Hannah who had visited their house several times for sleepovers and to do homework together had snuck into Ami's parent's room and stole the passwords and usernames to their bank accounts.
Hannah was planning this ever since she met Ami. She despised Ami for being wealthy and having everything. So she first tried to make her family poor. Unfortunately for Hannah it wasn't doing much to Ami's spirit. As Ami regardless of money enjoyed the more simple things in life. She loved to play with her sister the most too.
Hannah noticied the two playing out by the park and that's when she got an idea. She seduced another classmate to help her with it and they both got to work.
The plan? Kidnap Allie and then torture and kill her before leaving her body in a ditch and leading Ami to it. The plan was a success. Hannah faked an innocent and worried expression as she told her "best friend" to follow her quickly. She then took GREAT pleasure in seeing the horrified expression on Ami's face as she looked down at her dead sister's body.
After that, Hannah wasn't arrested. She ended up seducing the cops into blaming and suspecting Ami. Eventually, Ami ended up being disowned and thrown out into the street. Crying and injured the broken 18 year old Ami left her home kingdom and wondered around trying to find a new place to stay.
She eventually found the kingdom of Adrisal. By then she was practically skinny as a stick and barely standing before she collapsed beside a resident's house. The resident was thankfully outside at the time and noticed her and quickly called an ambulance and the cops.
Eventually, thanks to the queen and the hospital things started to look good for Ami. She was pardoned as the Queen believed that she didn't do it and she was given a home.
Ami currently despises her earth power and has since been able to learn to do something less offensive and destructive in power. She learned how to make potions and other material and eventually she opened her own shop and works now as an Alchemist.
She's still learning how to warm up to people though. It'll take a while before she can trust others.
