Epic (2013) Article: My favorite characters

Here I will talk about my top four favorite characters in Epic.

1. Mary Katherine (MK)
She was awesome and funny, I loved her personality and I think she is perfect for Nod. MK has some of my favorite lines as well, and she looked pretty.

2. Mandrake
Reason why I like him so much? He is based off Hexus from the movie FernGully (another cool movie by the way). Mandrake had a great voice actor and a cool personality. All I can say is there isn't villains like him anymore in kid movies now a days.

3. Ronin
I loved him, Ronin was a wise and a great fighter. He also kinda took care of Nod after Nod's father. But he was sometimes serious in a lot of parts (which I didn't mind too much). Ronin was a sweet character and I really loved him, because he was also funny.

4. Nod
Now, he was like the fun one. I can tell you why, and Nod was bit of a rebel but an excellent pilot when bird flying. I love characters like Nod because we see a bit of a trouble maker when you have a rebel. He is just perfect for MK cause they loved each other.

Diogene I've got a big crush on Ronin, so I'm not that impartial I guess :D But I completely agree on MK, because there are not many feminin incons in animated movies who manage to be this funny and adorably realistic. Nod's character is a classic, there's not much to say on him. About Mandrake...Maybe it's because I come from Pitch (Rise of the Guardians) but I really don't see what it's cool about him =/ Though Chris Waltz did indeed a marvellous job (as well as Colin, of course :3 )
