Charles face was filled with raged as he stared at me holding Esme. Yes, i have to admit that i did feel bad for kissing another man's wife but, he didn't deserve her one bit. "Esme, you little slut what are you doing?" he screamed. "Carlisle you need to leave right now?" Esme whispered in my ear. "I will not leave you with him this angry." I told her. She gave me a quick smile. "Sir, this is all my fault, i kissed your wife she had no intention of my visit going this far." i explained to him. He stepped closer to me. His breath smelt of acholal. "Esme, go to the bedroom I will be there in a minutes after I take care of your friend." Charles instructed her. She made her way towards the stairs. I pulled her back placing her head on my chest. Her breaths were warm against my cool skin. I kissed her forehead letting her know she was safe. "Go sit on the couch i will take care of this." i reasured her. She gave me a quick kiss on the lips as she moved to the couch. "How dare you kiss my wife in front of me!" Charles screamed as he swung at my face. I dogded the punch and retatliated with extreme force at his torso. The blow was to much for him to handle. He fell to the ground knocking down a small table. Esme let out a small yelp when the table fell. I quickly moved to the phone to contact the police. Charles came from behind while i was on the phone and hit me in the back of the neck. I absorbed the blow because i was a Vampire. A simple punch wasnt going to bring me down. I turned around and punched him in the face. His body flew across the room. Oops, i didn't mean to punch him that hard oh well. I could hear the police sirens in the distance. While Charles was uncounsions Esme and I sat on the couch planning her testomny about the abuse. Esme couldn't help but cry as she explained years of tourment. I held her close as the police arrested Charles. "Thank you so much, Carlisle." she told me as she hugged me. "Esme, I love you more than anything" Her face lit up with joy. I opened the passenger door of my BMW and Esme jumped in. "Where are we going"? she asked. "I couldn't leave you alone here, so you can stay at my house for the time being." She smiled as she gave me a quick peck on the lips. As we drove to my house I debated wheather or not i should tell Esme i was a vampire. If i was going to make her my wife i had to tell her. The thought of making Esme my wife shot a spark through my body.
