Okie doke, everyone. Let's review the situation here. It's been a little over three months since the newest episode and everyone was on edge. 'The Hunter' (originally episode 8) was available on Cartoon Network On Demand to those few that had On Demand. So! MoA had a three month hiatus on this wicked series... and what do they do? They apoligize and show us why it took so long. Great things take time.

Alright, we start off with Capt. Calan and his team running from what look like military jets. They had just 'acquired' a digital stick that holds valuable info for Providence. To lose the jets, they fly dangerously close to... what looks like an odd shaped dome. They get shot down and end up inside of this dome, with the valuable stick in their possession.

After the theme, we realize why it was Calan that was sent after this thing and not Rex. Rex lacks 'sensitivity'. He argues that he's plenty sensitive, then jumps Bobo for saying otherwise. So smooth. Six even shakes his head in defeat.

Holiday explains that the place Calan and team was shot down was called 'The Bug Jar'. It was a city that went nanite crazy after the Event. Since it was before Providence and Rex, people had no choice, but to seal off the city from the outside world. (It was possible to get in, but there was no way out.) Six, Rex, and Bobo's mission was to air drop Rex into the Bug Jar, retrieve the stick, and get out. With a special gun, they could blast a hole in the barrier to get Rex out.

So! Rex is about to meet up with Bobo and Six for the mission, when Holiday randomly pulls him aside. For the record. BEST PART EVER. Ok. Holiday says (in a very questionable voice), "I've been waiting for this for a long time." Obviously, going on instant reaction, Rex puckers up. Only to get a fanny pack around his waist. She asks Rex to bring back a sample from the Bug Jar. He insists that, since that may be difficult, he figures there should a reward involved... possibly dinner... Her answer is "If you do this, I will buy dinner." She walks away and he fist pumps. When he meets up with Six and Bobo, with a huge smile, Six asks what was going on. "Just basking in the glow of my own awesomeness!" You go, Rex.

Above the Bug Jar (Six manning the small jet), Rex gets ready for his air drop. While doing this, he plays with Holiday's little sample thingy and continues to shock himself with it (like throughout the whole ep). Six gives Rex the go (giving the inspiational words that "Death is never pretty" and "Every decision has a cost") and Bobo dares him to make it fancy. So, obviously, Rex does a few awesome flips in the air before leveling out. It was awesome. So! Six tells him to slow up and Rex grumbles about 'way to lose the rush' lol.

On the ground now, Rex beats up a few Evos and instantly finds the info stick. Of course, he asks for five more minutes (most likely to get a sample). Six askes if the other ship is around, but Rex can't find it or the crew. White tells him to just ditch it and go back to base. Before he could really do anything, the same Evo that shot down the other ship, fires on Six's jet, instantly knocking out communication. The ship breaks in half, Bobo in the bridge and Six in the cockpit. I half expected it to explode, but whatever.

Rex moves to Boogie Pack and tries to help his friends, but discovers the hard way that the barrier is in fact solid. Once the ship enters through the barrier, Rex goes after it, the cockpit first. Six tries to ditch, but the ejection malfunctions, leaving it to Rex to save the day. Bobo's part of the ship gets attacked by an Evo and he uses the 'special gun' to fight it off (using their one and only shell). Rex eventually does save him, though.

Alright, so the team ends up surrounded by Evos. This is where we see a new Six move. He attaches the sword's by their hilt, creating a dual blade... which is awesome. They realize that the Evo's are too strategic and organized, then realize that they are being controlled by another Evo with no face. They manage to create a distraction and escape.

They continue to run from a few Evo's and eventually end up in the sewers. Six explains at some point that the dome is actually a sphere, that even goes underground (kinda like Bleach lol). Rex ends up with a sample from an Evo. Good job! One thing: there are a lot of Evo's seen in this ep, that were in others. The worms from Leader of The Pack and those beast things from Dark Passage. Makes you wonder where Van Kleiss got them.

Alright, so. Six and company meet up with two of the red shirts (who have faces OMG. They will be definded as the guy and the girl). Ok, well, they inform our team that Calan and the other soldiers were captured by No-Face, along with their ship. Six and Rex take point to go find it (in hopes of a radio to Providence). Rex holds on to the stick, against the two pilot's wishes. Once they do find the ship, they discover that Calan and team is all still alive. No-Face leaves the scene and Six and Rex move in, taking out the other Evos. Six and Calan clasp hands, like a 'how you been?' kinda way. So, what? They actually do get along... fan fiction is very misleading.

Rex and Six get on the ship, ready to use parts from theirs and this one to get back home. Calan informs them that that's not very possible. They do manage to get their hands on a radio, though. The red shirt on the other end keeps asking Rex's name, but he's all like 'SHUT UP AND SEND HELP'. Holiday over hears and pushes the red shirt aside (enough to hurt the poor guy) and gets in contact with them. Holiday tells them to meet at Hotel Kiev (the far side of the city).

Out of nowhere, No-Face attacks, throwing Rex out of the ship. Six is on him in an instant... but... yeah... The Evo easily disarms Six and was actually about to kill him. It was epic. Rex attacks him, distracting him from Six, who falls to the ground unconcious. Rex is instantly pinned. No-Face tells Rex that the Befores (who I'm assuming are humans) don't care about them (Evos). Btw, Rex can hear him through his nanites, which is weird. No-Face tells Rex to open the city, so that all the Evos can leave. Rex basically says no. NF then asks why Rex is with the 'Befores', that he 'even wears their trinkets (referring to the stick). "Wanna see my Fanny Pack?" Best come back ever. So, NF is about to kill Rex.

Then, Six wakes up. He uses a new weapon (that could have been used in Dark Passage), that's like a shuriken. They're awesome. So anyway, he tricks NF to collapse the entire building and they quickly get out. Once out, a few Evos surround them, but they get run over by a truck... that the monkey is driving... right. So, anyway, they start tailing it to Hotel Kiev. Rex... he... well... you kinda need to watch that part to see the stupid, but yeah. Once running in the building, they use the elevator to get to the roof... WHAT!? Have they never seen a horror movie!? SERIOUSLY!?!? Well, it actually works and they get to the roof... only to realize that NF is not far behind. Six takes command and sets up a perimeter, when Rex realizes that... No-Face had the stick. GREAT.

So, an epic battle ensues. Evos come up the elevator shaft; they blow it up. Evo's come up the side of the building; they get hit by a big 'O'. It's awesome. The Evos start destroying a building beside them, which falls on the hotel. I was expecting the 'domino effect', but instead it made as a make shift ladder.

Their Evac arrives and is under heavy fire, but the team clears it out nicely. Six orders Rex to take out the Evo that had brought the ships down, which he does in an awesome explosion. Then, he decides to go after No-Face and the stick, against Six's protests. Claiming it was 'priority'. It's so obvious that he hates White in that scene. While the rest of the team gets on the ship, Rex tackles NF and is almost killed again. BUT he uses Holiday's little sampler thingy and stabs NF in the neck with it. Once he has the stick back, he barely manages to Boogie Pack to the ship. Calan uses the awesome gun to shot a hole in the barrier and they get free.

Six mentions that it wasn't wise to leave that ship behind, so Calan 'self-destructs' the thing. (What about the pieces of Six's ship that NF was interested in earlier? COUGH)

Back at Providence, White asks Rex if he has the data rod. Rex says no and says that he did manage to save the team. White freaks, loudly explaining that the soldiers are expendable. Rex then explains, without interrupting White's tyraid, that he doesn't have the stick... but Calan's men do. Six shakes his head again at Rex's recklessness... but he still doesn't say anything. They hand it over with a solute, then tell Rex that he's alright. Awwwwww.

Holiday then confronts him about her samples. He, kinda rambling, explains that he didn't come back with any BUT he did get the stick AND the men. She hugs him and tells him that was great. He blushes. BUT it apparently wasn't worth dinner. Leaving him stumped, she walks away as he tries to reach for her. Six walks up from behind him and informs again that 'every decision has a price'.

So! SIX KNEW THE WHOLE TIME XD

What we learned:
- Six's new move and he showed that magnetic thing again (from String Theory), though it was only for a second. Also, his shuriken like weapons. Oh and he showed a lot more emotion in this ep.
- Calan's character is finally developed enough to be on the same level as a character instead of just another face. He also has a southern accent, which is awesome. (FYI, he's voiced by Wally Kurth, the same guy that voices Six. Yep, look it up.)
- Calan's soldiers may make another appearance. They were pretty cool.
- HOLIDAY WAS AWESOME!
- Bobo showed a lot more initiative in this ep, which was awesome for the chimp.
- White's a jerk, but he knew he was caught in the act when it happened.
- No-Face... This guy was AWESOME. He almost killed Six and Rex. I highly doubt that this is the last time we'll see this guy. At least, I hope not.
- Providence was created some time AFTER the Event. Holiday said that it was 'before Providence and before Rex'. The comment implies that Providence was founded AFTER they had found Rex... So. More mystery, there.
- The animation in this ep (compared to the other ten) is incredible! I can't wait to see more!
- The information on the stick is a something-something that can tell what kind of Evo a person will become. That is quite handy and may show up again in the future.

Next episode is titled "Operation: Wingman". We'll see you there.

WELL. We start off with Rex and Bobo on a mission of great importance. Sneak out of Providence and hit a taco joint. Also, Rex mentions that it's the 'food of his people', so it's official that Rex is latino or hispanic or something along those lines. Anyway, after many unnecessary dodge rolls and jumping around corners, he and the monkey finally make it outside. They get the Boogie Pack ready to go when... Rex's phone rings.

Bobo: Don't answer it!

Gawd, I died at that part. Anyway, Rex answers the phone, automatically assuming that it's Six and starts to come...
