Okay. I remember when I firstly got into MCR. I heard the song Blood in the background of some You-Tube video, and I'm so sad to say but, I thought it was horrilbe. But the name, some how, got stuck in my head. My Chemical Romance. What a great name for a band! One day, I went to JB-HIFI and went in the Punk/Hardcore part. I was looking for Paramore or Green Day and there I saw the name, once again. My Chemical Romance. I didnt pick it up of course. But my brother got something, I wanted something. So I asked my mum and she told me I could get something. She asked me if there was anything I really wanted. I was going to say Green Day but I said, yep. I said My Chemical Romance and I'm happy I did. I firstly got 3CFSR. I love it to this very day.
When I got home, I listened to it, and fell in love with the singer and his voice. So I rushed on YouTube and watched Helena. I found out their names slowly. And you know what? They become my favorite band, along with Paramore.
Anyway. I want to say thanks to Gerard for saving me. Why? Well lots of reasons really. Like at school where everyone wanted to be emo and cut themselfs, I even started it aswell. Cause I was a dumb idiot. I got really sad that all my friends were cutting themselfs. Once I read about that girl that bascily hanged herself, I read about MCR about doing all the stuff they did. I felt so happy that they were doing this kind of stuff and I felt happier. I helped my friends and everyone and I MCR helped me through it. Whenever somethings bad, I looked up to them. And Gee. His mottos are perfect as well.You never need to hurt yourself. I mean, dosnt it make you feel wonderful?
People tell me 'OMG, STOP TALKING ABOUT GERARD, HES NOT YOUR LIFE. But he is, wouldnt you just talk about the person that saved you?. It isnt just about the hair he has, yes, it looks perfect on him, but more than his awesome hair, he has saved lifes without meeting these people. My Chemical Romance, Ray, Bob, Matt (Yes. I havent forgoten you ;] ), Gee, Mikey, Frankie, your more than just a band, your a way of life. Thank you. I owe you guys BIG TIME.
