Wait... wait... wait... okay, now I can start.
Opinion/Rant time again! Hopefully, you caught the joke at the beginning, because for this article, I'll be talking about weight. Let's begin!
It's no secret that idols are pretty underweight, and while some might naturally be that way, most idols do very extreme diets that resort to them only eating one meal a day. That's just downright unhealthy.
While I'm not trying to encourage them to eat as much as they want without taking into moderation, it wouldn't kill them to just eat a little more!
A clear example of this would be Yoona. Last year, she even admitted herself that her weight loss wasn't healthy for her, and some members have been worried about it. Plus, in recent photoshoots, you can clearly see that she's stick thin. Of course, she's naturally skinny, but she still diets, so that's why it may seem that she looks unhealthy at times, as seen here:
Not long ago, Tiffany had revealed that she was the heaviest member at 48 kg, and all the comments had mocked her, calling her a "pig." Considering that she's 5'3" (163 cm) and 48 kg (106 pounds) and admittedly saying that she's the heaviest in the group... that's a little scary. I'm basically her height and weight at 13, yet my parents still think I'm skinny.
There are other cases that are slightly more intense, like how Dasom from SISTAR had to eat one meal a day for her drama. She's pretty self-concious about herself. She even said herself that if she gains only 1 kg, she won't eat anything. Her body, and everyone else's in SISTAR, looks ideal compared to other idols. She shouldn't need to diet; and if she had to, she could've just eaten healthier instead of starving yourself.
With that being said, I think you can tell that I'm kinda excited for the new SISTAR comeback. XD
Idols, remain strong, healthy, and no matter how many fans out there call you fat, just know that the real fans care about you and support you through thick and thin.
Thanks for reading, remember to fan the article, comment below on what you think of this topic, and I'll see you guys soon! Bye!
