Chapter 1 Labor
"Robert!" Giselle yelled, squeezing the pillow.
"What? What's wrong?" Robert nervously had awoken, by the shriek of his wife.
"My water broke!" Giselle cried out in pain.
"What? We gotta get you to the hospital!" Robert eyes widened. "Morgan!" Robert screamed.
"Help!" Giselle cried
"Shh, it's ok." Robert comforted.
"What's going on?" Morgan asked walking in Giselle and Robert's bedroom.
"Mom's water broke." Robert explained. "Get the phone." Robert demanded.
"Here." Morgan said handing Robert the phone.
"It's coming! The baby's coming!" Giselle screamed starting to push. Robert quickly dialed 911. Giselle had been in pain for about an hour before saying anything.
"Hello?" Came a deep voice.
"Hi, I've got my wife here about to give birth. She said the baby is coming and she is starting to push. We live on 36 Broadway Street. We're room 220 on the second floor." Robert quickly spoke.
"We'll be right there." The deep voice spoke. A few minutes later the ambulance came and took Giselle to the hospital. They rushed her into the Maternity room where she still did not give birth.
"Ok sweetie, its time to push." Said Nurse Gracie. "Ready?"
"Help." Giselle softly cried. She pushed as hard as she could. I didn't know labor was THIS painful. Giselle thought.
"Good, keep going." Nurse Gracie encouraged. "We got a head." Oh My gosh. I can't believe this is happening. I wonder if it's a girl or a boy. I hope the baby is healthy. Thought rushed through Roberts head.
"You're doing good Giselle, come on baby you can do it." Robert cheered on. A few minutes later and the room was filled with a loud cry. Gracie held the baby up so everyone in the room could see. The baby was short and a little chubby. It had very little hair, but the hair it did have was orange just like Giselle's. It's eyes were bright blue also like Giselle's.
"It's a girl!" Nurse Gracie smiled bringing the baby to a different room.
20 Minutes Later
"Here she is." Nurse Gracie smiled bringing the tiny newborn to Giselle and Robert. She was eight pounds, and eighteen inches.
"She's gorgeous." Robert softly smiled. Staring at the blue eyed, red haired baby.
"We'd like to name her Adrianna, Rose, Philip." Giselle smiled at the tiny most adorable infant she'd ever seen.
Chapter 2 Guests
The door opened and Robert's parents, Edward, Nancy, and Morgan all came in. Giselle glanced at the clock; it was six thirty in the morning. She had delivered Adrianna at five twelve in the morning.
"Oh my goodness, she is so adorable." Nancy smiled.
"Who told you I went into labor?" Giselle asked.
"Morgan called, and we left Andalasia and rushed to the hospital." Edward explained. They'd come form Andalasia often to visit and Robert and Giselle would visit them in Andalasia.
"What's her name?" Whitney, Robert's mom asked.
"Adrianna, Rose, Philips." Robert answered gently taking Adrianna from Giselle and staring into her beautiful blue eyes.
"She's looks just like you Giselle." Luke, Robert's Dad thought aloud.
"How do you feel?" Nancy asked.
"Umm not that bad. I'm in a little pain but not as much as I'd thought I'd be." Giselle responded.
"Mommy, can I hold the baby?" Morgan asked softly. Ever since Robert got engaged to Giselle, Morgan called Giselle Mommy.
"Ok, you have to sit down though." Giselle softly smiled. Morgan sat down and Robert gently placed Adrianna in Morgan's arms.
"She's really cute." Morgan stated. I can't believe this is happening to me. This is one of the most special moments in my life. New York is happily ever after. Giselle thought to herself.
"I can't believe you had Adrianna, it felt like the other day I got a phone call telling me you were pregnant." Nancy spoke. I can't believe it either. It felt like the other day my old wife walked out on me. Now I'm married to Giselle and have another gorgeous little girl. Robert thought. He took Adrianna from Morgan and gave her to his mom.
"I got you a gift." Nancy smiled handing Giselle a huge bag that had a teddy bear on it and said "Congratulations" on it. Giselle opened it and in the bag was a bottle, a yellow onesie, three pairs of white socks, a pair a pajamas with a teddy bear on it, a package of diapers, a turquoise pacifier, blankets, a teddy bear mobile, and three bibs.
"Thank-you so much." Giselle thanked.
"We also got you a gift." Luke smiled handing Giselle another huge bag that also said "Congratulations" on it and had ducks on it. In the bag was pink and light blue bottles, diapers, onesies, blankets, baby lotion, baby formula, bibs, a teddy bear, a few teething toy's, baby washcloths, a yellow baby robe. And a baby photo album.
"Thank you guy's." Giselle smiled. After Adrianna was passed on for everyone to see Giselle took her back. Adrianna started to cry for the second time in her life. "It's ok. What? Are you hungry." Giselle softly in a baby tone asked.
"We'll leave so you can have your privacy." Whitney smiled. They all left except for Morgan and Robert. Giselle lifted up her shirt and held the baby to her chest.
"Ah, I see you're doing a good job with the breastfeeding." Nurse Gracie smiled as she entered the room to check on them. "Is everything alright?" She asked.
"Yup, everything is perfect." Giselle smiled.
"Robert!" Giselle yelled, squeezing the pillow.
