-The Next Day-
I saw Brittany talking to someone. A guy I haven't seen around school. He was wearing a green sweatshirt. As Brittany walked away, after giving him a kiss on the cheek, I saw a jock push him up against the lockers. I walked over to him. "You okay?"

He fixed his sweatshirt and nodded.

"Are you new here?"

He nodded again. "I'm Rory", he said in a heavy Irish accent.

"I'm Sol." We shook hands. "You're a foreign exchange student. Ireland?"

"Yes."

"So, Brittany's your girlfriend?"

He shakes his head. "I live with her, though I want her to be my girlfriend."

"Wait, if she isn't your girlfriend, then why did she kiss you?"

"She thinks I'm a leprechaun."

That explains everything. "And you're pretending to be one, so you can be with her."

He nods.

"Well good luck." I smiled at my pun. "See ya around." I turned to leave. As soon as my back was to him, a slushee was thrown right in my face. I stood in shock, still thinking if what just happened was real. I wipe my eyes with my shirt sleeves. I looked back at Rory, who too was in shock. I thought good things happened when you were nice to the Irish.

-Later That Morning-
After getting changed into some spare clothes, I walk to my locker. I see Rory talking to Brittany again. I wave when he looks in my direction. He smiles.

"Hey Sol", he says while walking towards me.

"Hey Lucky."

Rory looked puzzled.

"As in 'Lucky Charms'."

"Oh yes. The cereal."

"What can I do for you", I asked.

"Well, I saw you get that slushee thrown in your face-"

"Yeah, it was quite unpleasant. But I'm fine now."

"That's great." We stood there in awkward silence for three minutes, then Rory walked away.

-Later That Day-
As I was walking to glee club, I saw Santana talking to Rory. He didn't say anything, just listened to her talk. That's when I knew she was up to something. But as I approached them, Santana was walking away.

-in Glee Club-
Everyone was still helping a grieving Tina, when Finn walked in with Rory. "Guys", Finn said. Everyone looked at him. "I now you've sad about not having Mercedes here, but we should-"

"Just get to the point", said Santana.

"This is Rory and he's joining glee club", Finally sat down next to Rachel.

"Whenever you're ready", said Mr. Schue.

Rory began to sing. Once he was done, everyone applauded. Except Santana.

"Welcome to glee club", said Mr. Schue.

Everyone cheered and went to welcome Rory. Again, except Santana.
