Okay, so I'm not sure if its just my brain going into an extreme form of denial, but I think that Finn and Rachel are most definatly not over. At first I was completley heartbroken, I loved them together from the very first episode, but then I thought for a bit. The last thing they said to each other before Rachel got on the train to New York was "I love you". They are spending time apart because at the moment, their goals aren't compaitable. Rachel belongs in New York and she would be resentful if she had to stay in Ohio. Finn would feel like the worst husband in the world if Rachel chose to stay because of him (coincidently, he is the only thing that I think could have kept her at home for a while after graduaton). He knows how special Rachel is and won't let anything hold her back, not even their love.

I was devestated that Finn didn't get into the acting school he applied for, but it seems like (to me, anyway) that he was still a little unsure of what he wanted to do after graduation. He has chosen to join the army to redeem his fathers name, and whether or not this is a good idea, it might be whats coming up for Finn.

I believe that they will be better off when Rachel has trained to be a star and is achieving the dream shes had from a very young age and Finn discovers what he wants to do. Some people are sure about their course in life, others have to try a few things before they find and realise their true passions.

But they will come back to each other.Its what they do, through everything that they've been through in the past 3 years, at the end of it all they come back to each other, and when this happens again, it will be for good. Thanks for reading :-)
