Why did they kick Hermione out of Forks High School?

i already knew that shes a wizard, but when she applied to Forks hi school, why didnt they accept her? they acceptes Alice at Hogwarts. its not fair!

I want a reputable source on that preposterosity. As far as canon is concerned, no mentions of a Hermione Jean Granger was in the Twilight series and no mentions of an Alice Cullen was in the Harry Potter series. Is this an crossover?
