Taylor Swift vs. Katy Perry! Bad Blood Over Harry Styles 

Katy Perry and Harry Styles shared a quick kiss when One Direction accepted an MTV Video Music Awards in 2012. Now that Perry and Taylor Swift are no longer friends, could Perry use her relationship with Styles to make Swift jealous? It would be sweet revenge after Swift wrote "Bad Blood" about Perry for stealing her backup dancers.

Is Katy Perry flirting with Harry Styles? Rumors are flying that the singers went on a dinner date earlier this week to make Styles’ ex, Taylor Swift jealous.

Katy Perry and Taylor Swift are in the middle of a major feud after Swift seemingly revealed her new song “Bad Blood” was about the “Roar” singer. So Perry certainly raised eyebrows this week when she was spotted leaving the sushi hotspot Nobu  around the same time as Styles.  One unidentified witness even insisted that they hung out at the restaurant.

“Yes, Katy Perry and Harry Styles had dinner together at Nobu in Malibu late Thursday night,” the source told Hollywood Life. “Just the two of them. They seemed happy, smiling and enjoying their dinner and conversation. They arrived separately and left separately. They looked like good friends and did a lot of talking.”

Still, there is no evidence that Katy Perry or Harry Styles even talked to each other at the restaurant.  An “impeccable” source told Gossip Cop that there was “no truth” to the date rumors.

“They just happened to be in the same place at the same time,” the source insisted. “[Harry Styles and Katy Perry] did not dine together.”

Even if Katy Perry and Harry Styles are hanging out, it’s likely not for romantic reasons. After all, Perry is clearly more into the bad boy types. In the past few months alone she has been linked to rapper Riff Raff and DJ Diplo. But we wouldn’t be surprised if Perry used Styles in the future to make Taylor Swift upset. It’s widely believed that Taylor Swift and Katy Perry are feuding after the “Shake It Off” singer admitted that her tune “Bad Blood” was about a female rival.  .

“For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not,” Taylor Swift told

, supposedly referring to Katy Perry . “She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, \'Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?\' [Then last year] she did something so horrible. I was like, \'Oh, we\'re just straight-up enemies.\' And it wasn\'t even about a guy!”

Shortly after Taylor Swift’s comments went viral, Katy Perry seemingly confirmed the feud rumors with the below tweet. For the uninitiated, Regina George is a reference to the primary adversary in the film

This Katy Perry/Taylor Swift fight apparently started over some backup dancers. Swift supposedly felt that Perry stole the dancers from her right as her tour was about to start.

“She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour,” Swift said in the

 interview. “She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me. And I\'m surprisingly non-confrontational -- you would not believe how much I hate conflict. So now I have to avoid her. It\'s awkward, and I don\'t like it.”

But those close to Katy Perry insist the dancers originally worked for her before joining Taylor Swift. So when Perry asked the dancers to rejoin her, they happily obliged. One of those dancers, confirmed this version of events in a 2013 Examiner interview.

“I was with Taylor for the first six months [of her Red Tour],\'\' Lockhart Brownlie said. “It was a great experience and she’s a great person to work with, but then Katy contacted us Obviously we were with Katy for 2 1/2 years, she\'s like family to us, so we were, like, `absolutely.’ We weren’t really dancing in Taylor\'s tour anyway so I had got a little bored and I really wanted to do a promo tour.”

Clearly, Taylor Swift does not see it that way. And if she continues to bash Katy Perry in songs, Perry may decide to fire back by flirting with Swift’s ex Harry Styles.
