Chapter 5 My Written Destiny
I curled into a ball crying as Thor went to get Nikki and Loki. The nightmare of Nikki’s last screaming and Loki’s neck cracked. Clint was trying calm me down “Just take a deep breath. Just breathe.” I tried to but the nightmare was killing me inside. Then Loki and Nikki ran in and I couldn’t hear what they were saying to me. All I could hear is the man laughed in my head “Ahh my sweet, sweet Loka. You can never hide from me.” I screamed when someone grabbed my face putting it in their hands.
I shook my head squeezing my eyes shut “No, no, no, no, no, no.” I heard a familiar voice “Loka just calm down.” I realized it “Loki?” I opened my eyes and he was worried “Are you ok sis?” I sniffed “No I had a nightmare that we are the beach and Nikki was 13 and we’re were 5 or 6, we were having fun until a man came and Nikki told us to ran away but we hid and he killed her,” I was crying. “then he said that he knew I was watching and said if I came out that he would make you’re death quick.
“We ran and hid in this cave and you told that we’d be fine,” I looked down “and he was found us and he called me his sweet, sweet Loka and that wherever I go he’ll always find me. Then he killed you because you defended me,” I turned to Loki and Nikki “He killed you two because me.” Loki wiped away my tears and kissed my forehead “It will be fine it was only a nightmare.” Thor shook his head “No it wasn’t just a nightmare Loki.” I was confused “What do you mean?”
Thor sat down “Legend has it that a daughter of a Frost Giant King and the twin sister of the god of mischief is protector and saver of all of the 9 realms. That she will protect the innocent and the ones she loves and cares about. Zador the god of Violence will search for her because she is the next in the bloodline to rule of Jötunheim and is the most powerful and beautiful goddess of in all of the 9 realms. He will threaten to kill the ones she loves. Especially her brother and her love for the mortal on Midgard. She will give up everything she had and has every wanted no matter how rude and abusive he is because she can’t let the ones she loves die because of her.”
I said “My destiny is written.” He nodded “I’m sorry my dear.” I shook my head “No it’s not your fault just my luck.”I leaned on my arm and leg. Loki padded my hand “You must’ it lose hope sister.” I smiled “I haven’t lost hope, I just don’t see any.”
Josephen’s Pov
I paced, "One night and this happens? Well at least it was with my love." I said then gave in and transported to Loka's room sitting on a chair hoping she would come in soon. "Loka..... I need to talk to you? No that sounds stupid." I said shaking my head. My hands were shaking; I had the test in my pocket so if I couldn't say it maybe I could show it.
Loka’s Pov
Loki told what has happened that Josephen and Lacey are here and have their minds back. Fury the African-America guy showed me to my room and I gasped surprised to see a familiar girl with black hair and dark blue eyes “Josephen?”
Back to Josephen Pov
I looked up, "Don't call for the others. I'm not going to hurt you I promise! I.....................just need to talk." I said adding a pause trying to find the words. I sighed holding my hands to stop their shaking, "I wanted to talk to you first." I whispered.
Loka
I did not understand. Josephen was…nervous? She has always hated me and she wanted to talk? Joe was shaking and was trying to find words? She really looked upset. I went and put a hand on her shoulder leading her to the bed “What is wrong Josephen?”
Joe
I looked at Loka, "Just so you know I never hated you. I just was having fun with fear." I said sitting on the bed, "Well I have no idea how to say this. I love your brother, but we might have gone a little too far." I said playing with my hair hoping Loka would get it so I wouldn't have to say it out loud.
Loka
Josephen was trying to tell me something but I didn’t understand. I thought about it “But we might have gone too far” Then a sun went up in my head and I turned to her “You’re pregnant!!!???” Joe blushed a deep red pulling her knees up to her forehead, "Yeah." She whispers in her hidden position. "I found out this morning. I have to tell Loki, but since you're his sister. I wanted to tell you first." She says in a soft voice. I smiled and hugged her “Awww I’m so happy so you.” Josephen jumped her eyes turning a deep purple as the touch made her read the fears more clear. "Okay but I suggest to get off me." She said looking at me, Joe's eyes glowed a deep purple. "Touching makes the fear connection stronger." She said
I jumped back “My apologizes, I didn’t know.” I felt Joe’s fear “Are you afraid of what Loki will think?” Joe nodded softly, "Can you come with me?" She asks looking like a little kid. She hoped Loki would be okay with it or at least happy, she got up. "By the way do you know where he is?" She asked moving towards the door. Clint was on the other side of the door as she opened it. "Crap." She mutters as she was forced to her knees with her hands behind her head.
"Freeze." Agent Hill said.
She laughed, "Everybody clap your hands."
“Clint let her go.” I said and he looked up at me with a serious face “Are serious do you know who this is? She was the one who attacked us.” I nodded “I know but she is herself now and she is my brother’s love so I would let her go before he get s mad.” Hill got in my face “No it’s my order.” I laughed “Just because I’m protector and saver of all 9 realms doesn’t mean I won’t take your life. So let her go.” I used my influence powers and she nodded “Agent Barton let her go.”
Barton untied Joe and grabbed my arm walking a few feet away “Loka what the hell? Why are you defending her? You said she has nothing but rude to you.” I touched his hand “Clint please don’t be mad. I can’t always be mad at people and she’s my brother’s love.” He moved away disgusted “No Loka you’re different I can’t do this…” Tears came down my face as he kept talking crap.
Joe
I looked up seeing Clint make Loka cry. I growled stepping in between them, "I'm not in the mood so I'll make this quick." I grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and pushed him on the wall lowering my voice, "I'm trying not to kill anybody right now due to a kid in my stomach. So just shut up and be nice to Loka. I've considered many ways to stuff you into a small box so don't piss me off." I whispered in a growl then letting go of him walking next to Loka who was still in tears. I looked at Loka and took out a pack of travel size of tissues, "They come in handy for things." I whispered and turned to Clint, "Keep you're yap shut and that box will stay empty." I said taking Loka going to find Loki.
“Thank you Joe.” Loka sniffed. I shook my head “No problem he shouldn’t be talking to you like that.”
Loka
Joe kept to me side when she stopped and thought, "What if he doesn't want it?" She asks in a whisper. Her vision becoming blurry from tears and I put my hands on her shoulder “Josephen it will be fine. He will be happy.” "How can you be so sure?" She asked feeling some tears escape her eyes. She already had the shock of connection with fear on Loka so Loka wrapped her arms around the girl’s body in a hug crying softly on my shoulder, "I'm sorry." She whispered threw sobs.
Loki
I was looking for Josephen and Loka. I turned into my room and saw Josephen crying on Loka “I’m sorry.” I cleared my throat and they both looked at me scared. Joe looked at me with big eyes not knowing what to say. "Uh." She couldn't continue her voice was gone by the sobs. Joe took a deep breath looking at my eyes and went up to me her lips going to my ear, "I need to tell you something." She whispered looking down. I brought my hand up to her cheek and pulled her face up to mine “What’s the matter love?” Joe took my hand leading me into more in my room silently she looked over at Loka then taking her hand as well closing the door behind them, "I'm pregnant." She whispers.
My mind froze and I was stock-still. Her smile turned into a frowned. “She’s pregnant? She’s going to have our child? But what it’s a monster? Always blue and deformed? Will Josephen hate me? Does she hate me for getting her pregnant? No of course not she was happy until I didn’t say anything.” I was happy but I couldn’t express it “I…i…i… I don’t know what to say.” Joe saw my expression and ran up hugging me, "Please don't be mad or worried." She says her hand against my face. She could feel the tears trying to come back, "I'm fine with having our child it's just I want you to happy as well." She says her thumb rubbing across my cheek. I smiled and kneed on one knee and pulled up Joe’s shirt and kissed her belly “I love you and your mommy very much my child and I can’t wait for you to come into this world.” I felt one of Joe’s tears fall on my cheek and I stood up rubbing her cheeks “I love you my love.” She smiled and kissed me.
