Rain pondered on my face as I stumbled warily up the front steps of my house and reached for the doorknob. Before I could twist it around so it could open, the door opened itself. I lifted my red, teary, yellow eyes and I saw Tadashe standing in the doorway with a confused expression on his face. But I noticed that, as soon as he saw my eyes, it vanished immediately and horror and sheer aggravation flashed in his dark velvet eyes. “Akane ...” He reached down and lifted me into his arms. “Don’t tell me ... Kaito and Seiji?” I buried my face into his shirt as more fresh tears watered my eyes. “Don’t …” I sobbed, my voice cracking, just like how my heart did when I saw Kaito walk away from me. “Please.” That was all I could say before I heart Sakura’s small voice next to Tadashe.
“Tadashe?” Sakura asked, sounding worried. “Sakura,” Tadashe turned his head down to our little step-sister. “Why don’t you go and make Akane something hot to drink? It might cheer her up.” “O-Okay ...” Sakura’s small footsteps ran away as Tadashe carried me upstairs to my bedroom. He pushed me onto my bed under the covers. “Are you okay?” He whispered. I stiffed a nod as I pulled my knees up to my chin. “How could he do this to you?” Tadashe mutteredfuriously, clenching his hands. I sniffled and reached over to touch one of them. “It’s ... it’s okay, Tadashe.” I said softly. “Okay? Kaito must’ve hurt you Akane! And you say it’s okay?”
Kaito. His name rang in my ears like how a voice would in a cave and I had to shut my eyes through it because already, his name was broken to me. A tear slipped out of my eye and I shook my head. “It’s not okay.” I answered his question, shaking my head. “My heart is in pain and I can’t bare the heaviness in my chest that Kaito left with me along with the image of how his eyes looked flawed with afflicted treachery and stinging despair when he saw Seiji and I kiss.” More tears came. “Akane …” Tadashe embraced his arms around me as he sat next to me on my bed. I wept into his chest as he rested his chin onto my head. “I loved him, Tadashe.” I said in a muffled voice. Tadashe patted my head with light fingers and ran them through my hair. “I know, Akane. I know.” Just then, I heard the door widen a little.
“Akane?” Sakura’s voice was small and uncertain by the door. I pulled away from Tadashe and saw Sakura lingering at the door with wide, fretful, blue eyes. “Can I come in?” She asked. I nodded and smiled, watching her come in slowly as she had a cup of tea in her grasps. “It’s hot.” She gave it to me. I got the handle of the cup in a hand and patted the empty space beside me. Sakura sat in it and I took a sip of the tea. The warmth tasted nice on my tongue and I gulped it down my dry throat. It was like a small fire had been sparked in my chest and it healed everything inside me. “Thanks Sakura,” I put a free arm around her small shoulders while Tadashe kept his arm around mine. “Hey Akane?” Sakura asked. “Yeah?” I asked, sipping the tea again. “Did ... you and … him break up? Does it mean it’s over?” She kept biting her lip as she paused through her sentence and I felt a twinge of guilt that I let Sakura into my situation, same for Tadashe.
I didn’t want this to happen to them. I didn’t want to cause any of my situations to come into their lives in the first place. “Yeah,” I exhaled a short breath. “It’s really over between me and ... him.” I couldn’t say his name. Not now, maybe not ever because I caused so much aggravation to him that I can’t release this remorseful regret in my chest. “Oh Akane,” Sakura hugged me. “I’m truly sorry that this has happened! I wish I could’ve done something to stop the future from processing it!” “You couldn’t have done anything Sakura,” I wrapped both my arms around her. “But ... Ivory–I could’ve asked her to change the future for you!” “And what will happen to the other peoples’ future in the end?” I asked in a stern voice. Sakura went silent for a few seconds. Then she nodded, miserably. “You’re right, Akane.”
I looked at Tadashe and saw a thoughtful look in his eyes – a look that almost got my heart racing. “Tadashe. No. I know what you’re thinking and I won’t let you.” I said in a stern, hard voice despite how hurt I am feeling. “Akane, he walked away from you. I can’t believe he did it when you told me that he promised you that he wouldn’t leave you.” “I know, but still. Don’t hurt him.” I begged. Tadashe pinched his lips into a firm, angry line before he gave out a huge sigh and nodded. “Fine then. I won’t. Promise.” Something in his voice was a little different from before but I tried to ignore it before telling the two of them that it was getting a bit late.
“’Kay Akane, I’ll see you tomorrow.” Tadashe planted a kiss in my hair before he slipped off my bed and out of my room. “Nighty-night sis!” Sakura smiled and gave a good night kiss on my cheek before I did the same to hers. “Nighty-night, Sakura.” I smiled and she raced off to her room. I reached an arm over and switched off my bedside lamp that was already on when I came in and pressed myself into the matress.
‘If only I had a love miracle that you and I could be together again, Kaito.’ I thought while closing my eyes. ‘I loved you then and I still do.’
Although Kaito is still in my heart, little did I know that my love for him will only push me through more pain ... and this time, for good.

Thanks for joining my club 'Heartache' and I hope that this club will be added by many Fanpop fans!
I may have done some mistakes at first like doing two picks instead of one - that was a total mistake!!! Sorry fans!
Oh and just answer either of them if you think it's fine. I don't know how to delete it, but I guess it can't be deleted anyway. Oh well...
Anyway, thanks for joining, again and may God bless!
Take Care.
