The Red Queen
Bellatrix Lestrange like most characters has her up's and down's . Her up's are; Bellatrix is very loyal to those whom she cares about, such as Voldemort and Narcissa. Bellatrix followed Narcissa all the way to Spinners End to keep her from potential harm. Bellatrix is very devoted at least to the dark lord. She also shows a great deal of power being able to deflect dumbledor's spells, binde unbreakable vows, and use occlumacy. I also find Bellatrix rather funny in a twisted dark way of course, but that to me is what makes her character enjoyable. But i suppose that is all opinion, as is beauty. I for one think Bellatrix shows a great deal of beauty despite what her time in Azkaban did to her. She has a very unique style it reflects both her mental state and twisted personality. But with every up comes a down. Bellatrix is obviously quite heartless and evil. She seems to show no mercy or guilt. Bellatrix enjoys tourtering people which is'nt really something to be proud of. In the films she is known to act very child-like, weather that's a good or bad thing is too all opinion. Bellatrix often seems to get distracted, when she duled Molly Weasley her off focus became her downfall. She constantly cackled at and teased Molly she was so distracted by this that she only noticed she was dead at the last second.
Mrs.Lovett: Mrs. Lovett like Bellatrix has alot of good traits; She is very clever. Her idea of makeing human pies was a pretty untraceable way to cover up a murder and make money. Mrs. Lovett is also quite humorous like Bellatrix, when she sang 'By The Sea' she previded one of the only scenes that relived some of the suspence. As well as humor and brains Mrs. Lovett has good looks. She has really crazy hair, one that you wont see everyday. As well as alot of pretty outfits such as the ones in 'By The Sea' and in the very end. As pretty as Mrs. Lovett herself is her voice. I always found Mrs. Lovett's singing both errie and beautiful. I love how she is able to hit high notes and low notes. To go with all this Mrs. Lovett is very sweet and careing, keeping Sweeney from killing Tobby and then adopting him as her own. Even Before that she showd sympathy for Toby when he was getting abused, saying; "I do hate to see a child treated like that". Lovett even went as far as lieing to a mad man to win his heart. But her strong heart can very well be a down, it was because she lied to Sweeney about his wife that he died. Which is why her intallagance can be questioned. With that i do belive it is safe to say Mrs. Lovett can be selfish, keeping Sweeeney's one desire (his wife) from him to get her own need. (Sweeney's love.) Besides those greed is really the only other thing I found. I've noticed alot of people have said the only reason Mrs. Lovett covered up for Sweeney was to get moeny.
Red Queen: Some might find it hard to find the Red Queen's positives. I personal belive the Red Queen can be quite adorable, like right after her 'pet' jabbawoky was slayen she made that look of dispare and thelook of shock after Styan tryed kill her. I also think her voice is powerful, she can be heard quite easily and speaks quite clearly. To go with her powerful voice is a skill for persausion. The Red Queen had succesfuly controlled her whole kingdom and no one ever questioned her, they actually kind of trusted and respected her. But being a queen she is extreamly bossy and is yelling and exacuteing for small things; such as when she exacuted that frog for eating her food. (which goes to show her impatiance) In my opinion looks arent really her strong suite either, her had is rather large, and she looks far too pale for my likeing. Also the Red Queen's constant need for attention had contributed to her downfall. After Styan convinced her that if she didnt act soon she would loose her followers, that lead her to belive it is better to be feared then trusted.
