.There is a reason why I am writing this article. Both Harry Potter and twilight are fictional stories. They are enjoyable books or films ( and the characters don’t exist) . But some people, especially teenage girls are taking this too far. They have fallen in love with imaginary characters in twilight and it seems to interrupt their daily and personal life. I have read several blogs and chats on several sites saying so (they are happy about it). The thing is that the characters in twilight are not 100% likable or acceptable for them to see the story or the characters unique. There are several negative influences in the story (Suicide for example).
When we take out the main characters Bella and Hermione then I rather go for the better person as my role model.
Another reason is that, I am not having a good time around the twi hards.
Fangirls are really annoying, Everybody is right. Especially the fans of the twilight saga. Harry Potter fans were not this crazy" Atleast the character Hermione motivates us to be as good in studies as her. in a way . Writing about how much the character Bella sucks is a lot of fun.


I have come across this question many times. For me the answer is always Hermione. The reasons are simple and far more logical.

. I knew Hermione before Bella. She became my most favourite character in Harry Potter. To tell the truth, Hermione is my most favourite female characters of all time.


Why? Mostly it is because, I feel that she is one of the best role models for girls.
She was first introduced as a very studious young girl who a bit shows off.
Then it was later slowly revealed that she has a very good heart and friendly nature. She is studious, clever and definitely the kind of student that teacher will be willing to teach and be proud of. She may not be a feminist, but she doesn’t depend on any man to protect. In fact anyone can depend on her for anything he/she wants (nothing bad of course). She feels sad and mourns for everyone and does not want to see any innocent victims involved in any sort of danger.
She depicted as a very versatile and pleasant person. She went through a lot of different phases and might have changed over the years as she grew up but she was always at her best.

She is even concerned about the people she hates. For example when Draco Malfoy was attacked by buckbeak in prisoner of Azkaban, she was worried and immediately suggested Hagrid to take him to the hospital wing.
Friendship is very important for her. She is ready to die for her friends.
"If you want to kill Harry, you have to kill us too" (Harry Potter and the prisoner of Azkaban).
She had only one love of her life and that was Ron. She never tried to flirt with him in any manner. She was jealous when he had affair but she never tried to interrupt in any manner.
But above all the kind of love she gave importance and dedication to was her heart and passion for her friends and family.

Compared to Hermione Bella is a BAD role model. Even anyone consider her as one, I'll definitely discourage her/him. Because it is necessary.

Reasons (compared to Hermione)

1. Bella is always moody and hardly smiles.


Hermione has a very sweet, pleasant and expressive face.

In real life one guy may fall in love, but I swear, no one will like or respect a blank, moody and paralysed face like Bella's. She hardly has any emotions or expressions. She doesn't laugh. Even if she does, it looks artificial. Hermione can laugh. Boys and girls are pleasant. People don't like to come near a moody/boring person unless he/she is equally boring. After all laughter is the best medicine .


2. She is pathetic. She always falls down when she runs. There is nothing heroic about that. Hermione on the other side is unbeatable in terms of her physical and mental abilities.


3. She is not active in sports or games. She can't even dance. Can't believe she is so boring.


4. She falls in love with two guys and simultaneously spend time with them.

She is not even sorry about it.

For Hermione it was just Ron

Viktor Krum was her prom date, maybe a crush but she never flirt or spend time with him. She was not aware of Ron's love for her then.















Bella on the other hand climbs on Jacob's bike in front of Edward and even kisses him on the mountaintop. It was a big slap on Edward.



5. Bella is suicidal. She jumps off a cliff to get rid of the pain due to Edward's breakup. Is that how a girl is supposed to deal with a situation like that? For god's sake girls, if your boy leaves you (no matter how handsome he is or how much you are in love with him) just let him go. Do something useful for your surroundings and don't let your parents down. Learn that from Hermione.
Remember your life is more useful to your parents and peers and not just to that boy who left you.


6. Bella is selfish and manipulative. In eclipse because so many innocent young boys and girls were captured and killed by Victoria (being converted into a vampire literally means being taken away from one's normal life and routines). She is not even sad or bothered about it. Hermione fells for everyone good person.


7. Hermione is more Bold and tough.

Bella, even she is able physically able to handle people (with drunkards in twilight) especially after becoming a newborn in breaking dawn, she is not good decision maker. She can't do anything useful for her selves without depending on her boyfriends. Even if she tries, she ends hurting someone's feelings, her dad for example is a very loving person but of course I don’t think a daughter like her is appropriate for him.











8. Bella is dependent on her boyfriends for her protection.















Hermione on the other hand her friends depend on her cleverness. She is still considers bravery of Harry better.







9. Bella cannot understand why her boys have mood swings (Jacob's Temper, Edward's seriousness). She then has far worse than theirs. Hermione on the other understands when Harry's mood starts changing in order of the phoenix. She becomes more supportive and considerate.









10. Bella is male dependent.

Other than that she didn't do anything useful in the saga. She is proving that life without a boyfriend is not life. She may have been hurt because Edward left her and she was all depressed. It is not the best way to deal with such a situation not matter how much you were in love with a person. She was all down for months and kept away from her family and friends, gues what blindly she was drawing in hatred and didn’t let anyone help her. The only way by which she found relief was in Jacob’s arms. I don’t think it brings out a good message. “If one guy leaves you, go into the arms of another and then you will feel better . She even tries to kill herself (As far as the movie is concerned). Suicide is not an option kids.
She don’t seem to realise how much she was hurting Jacob at the same time.
“If a guy leaves you, don’t go to him and anybody else. Let him come to you."

Even if boys are attracted to her (Mike, Eric, Tyler), it is just because she is lucky. They don’t know that close anyway. If they did, then they wouldn't like her. Bella doesn't like gifts. There is nothing great about that.


If you be like Hermione, you could earn respect and gratitude from the society.























If you want Bella as your role model,






(The girl you see in the movies) in simple words, you'll end boring and dependent like her. You lover is not your life or everything. There are more important things
like Friendship, parents, work, career and above all one’s own personality. If you like Bella or twilight then fine, (I can't and should not do anything about that) but she is not a good role model, especially when compared to better person like Hermione.
