The Year is 2040, three long years since i last saw the Heroes of the Pitt...

My Past is dark and tragic, but none the less I have become better from the hardships I have faced...
I am Mark Ivory... and This is my story:

The year was 2027, I was only eleven when my parents were killed by a son of Poseidon... I clearly remember that dark night all those years ago...

My family lived in Washington D.C., the north district. Life was simple back then: go to school, come home, eat and go to sleep. But that all changed when I met Percy Jackson...

I met the Demi-god one day coming home from school, there were four men chasing him. He was not alone, there was a blonde woman holding his hand as they ran. I looked over to him and he saw me, but he held a sword in his right hand. The blade was black and silver, It was odd and very interesting. But all the sudden they turn and run right at me.

"Percy dont!" shouts the young woman as Percy raises his sword, still running at me.

"He's just a child!" she continues and I turn and run toward my home. But once I turn around, I see a large man with a rifle in his hands. "Stand back child!" shouts the large man clad in black armor. I leap to the ground just as Percy swipes his sword, hitting the man and slicing him in half. But then the strangest thing happened: the body began to fade away, in a cloud of golden dust.

"Come with me." Says Percy calmly as he reaches to help me up to my feet. "...okay." I reply, for I was scared but for some reason I had the urge to help.

"They're coming!, Percy we need to go! now!" She shouts glancing back at the enemies and turning toward Percy. "Fine, come on." He replies and pulls me to my feet, then we ran toward the south district...
