Randy gets up and walks out your door. You hear him get in his car but something pulls you towards him...you run out the door and he gets out of his car and goes to you. You look at him and he looks at you too, both in silence.
Jamie: How long have you known?
Randy: For a while...
Jamie: Why didn't you say anything?
Randy: Well...I didn't know you wanted me to.
Jamie: *tears* Randy...I can't do this...I don't wanna do this...

Your 3 friends drag you to the drama club that Randy is in too cuz Raymond and David. You see Randy there and you drop your head. The teacher comes and she starts talking about the new play. It's a romantic play and you roll your eyes.
Teacher: So anyone interested in being the main lead role for the girls? They'll have a solo.
Jessica: I know Jamie Sullivan is interested!

Teacher: Jamie! Come up here and let us hear you sing.
You go up and you glare at your friends. They give you thumbs up and winks.
Teacher: Why don't you sing this verse. *clears throat* So I lay my head back down. And I lift my hands and pray to be only yours, I pray to be only yours. I know now your my only hope.

Jill: Oh I'm so excited. This is the first play Randy has ever been in being the lead role.

The piano starts playing "Only Hope" and you stand up, singing the song. When you finish singing the song, you sit back down humming the ending part. Right when the scene was supposed to end with you two looking at each other, Randy leans in for a kiss right on your lips. You can't believe it and Randy pretends thats part of the scene when really it's what he wanted.
