I know I'm not a regular in this spot *lowers head with shame* but that doesn't mean I don't check it frequently ;)

Anyway... bottom line is: I need help with an English assignment!
I have to do an Oral Presentation about "Cyber friends" and I want to include real life situations on it. So, I'm asking if someone has a funny story about cyber friends or if you ever met one in person, and if you did how did it go? Was is a good or bad situation? Was the person you met the person you thought it would be?

It would help me A LOT if you could share some of your stories with me :)
I'd also like to add some photos of you with your cyber friends but if you feel uncomfortable with that I won't had/revel any kind of personal information and I'll show you the Power Point before showing it to my teacher/classmates :]

caramelmilk [i]Uh..I can try..xD[/i] The first person I met online and a few months later in real life too was Jasmin.([url=http://www.fanpop.com/fans/cuddles]Cuddles[/url]) We met on a site that was mainly about manga/anime, but there were also House role play games and we got to know each other in one. And since Jasmin loves to travel and meet new friends, she suggested we'd meet in real life! -> Best idea ever. So she came from germany to austria and visited me...and it was great, we clicked immediately, you know, similar interests, both kinda crazy and shy at the same time. Since then we visit each other regularly and this fall she'll even go to university in austria, so she'll live here. She has now the status of a "real life friend" :D

Hey there,

So I decided to make a GIMP tutorial, hoping that it will be useful for you. I'm not really a Gimp specialist, but I've worked with that programm before I got Photoshop and there are some things I know that might be interesting for you.

So, first, GIMP can be downloaded for free.
I've a download link for GIMP 2.6.4. here : link
(wow took me ages to find a version that's not german Oo)
This works, I just downloaded it from there too, because before I had a german version and for the tutorial I need to know the english words.

Ok, so lets face it. This have gone out of control.
We have so many nicknames that we confuse all new fans that come on here!! :DDDDDDD
How many times have you scratched your head when you came up on unknown nickname? When I was a newbie here, I got that all the time! So lets make it all easier for our new fans and put all the nicknames here. (Well not all, that's not possible xDDD). Author's Note: I've seen a lot of these games for different fandoms where you go into your music player, put it on shuffle and write a story using the song that comes on. I tried doing that for House a few times but it never really worked, I ended up writing stories about random, nameless characters. I've saved them up for a couple months and I write new ones every now and then, this is one of the better ones. And I know I have strange taste in music, you don't have to tell me XD
