I have to admit I didn't like how the PI just fell off the face of the Earth as far as House is concerned haha. Even some sort of passing comment "Oh yeah I'm not paying the PI anymore" or something like that would have been sufficient.

When I first heard this I was so happy because I thought he was gonna come back, but it was so disappointing to see that he wasn't. The way that they have handled PI Lucas leaving (or rather, disappearing!) is the only thing that has really pissed me off on the show. I think they actually did a pretty bad job with ending that storyline. And y'all know me! I hardly ever say anything bad about the show, because I genuinely trust the writers/producers, but I think they dropped the ball on this one, as much as it pains me to say it.
