Wilson and House walked side by side while House through back some vicodin. They were just walking away from Wilson's office when House held out his hand.
"You owe me."
"How much did I say?"
"One hundred big ones."
"Fine. Here."
Wilson slapped five twenties he had snatched out from his wallet into House's hand.
"I didn't think she would give in that easily."
"Oh you don't even know the half of it. You knew though right?"
"Of course. A week after you asked her out. You avoided me the whole week till I confronted you. So I knew you did it."
"And she has no clue. And I have extra money now, and you get the satisfaction of--hold on. Uh, wait! You have the satisfaction of knowing that you got us together--sorta."
"Oh what a joy. I'm ecstatic now."
"What more do you want?"
"I already told you."
"No. I'm supposed to do that! I'll give you something else.."
"No. You owe me."
"I owe you NOTHING."
"If I hadn't played along, you would've never won your hundred and you wouldn't have gotten sex on a desk. And even better for you, MY desk. YOU OWE ME."
"Who are you, or should I say, which floor are you going to tell?"
"I was thinking the whole crusade captain."
"She'll add back on your clinic hours."
"No amount of clinic hours would even compare to this."
"Send the news proudly and with pride my friend."
House patted him on the back and he was on his way.

House was asleep in his chair, mouth wide open. Cuddy cane through the doors and walked up beside him. She got down on her knees and put her face close to his ear, then she yelled.
"HOUSE!"
House jerked in his chair causing his cane to fling from hands. Then Cuddy said sarcastically,
"Hi sweetie."
"Whatever you're looking for its in my filing cabinet. Third drawer is bras, first is panties."
"What? No. I'm here about a memo that was issued earlier: 'Solve this riddle: Your boss is getting screwed by the hospital ass. Guess who.'"
"And you're ashamed of that because..."
"Could you have been anymore obvious?"
"Well, WHOEVER this was, I got to give them props. It wasn't me though--'honey.' And also, if I was to do something like this, I wouldn't have done a memo. That's so...impersonal. Plus there's only a small amount I would tell because there are certain people who HAVE to know."
"Wilson. He knew all along. You got the money and the sex and you owed him. You gave him the right to tell everyone?"
"Yeah. If he hadn't gone along with it, my plan wouldn't have worked."
"He's so getting more clinic hours. Well, I managed to remove the memo before anyone saw it." Her eyes fell to the floor.
"Why are you ashamed?"
"I'm not."
"Yes you are. It's okay. I don't care."
"Why?"
"Why should I try to convince you not to be?"
"Because that's what normal people do?"
"Who said we're normal people?"
She paused. She was speechless at his replies. House leaned in closer to her.
"I don't want to force you into something you don't want to do."
"You would've done that before."
"Be-fore."
He winked at her, kissed her on the head and got up. He was going for the door.
"I'll be in the cafeteria," his eyes got big, "free sweets today."
After he left she got up from her knees and a large grin grew on her face.

"What am I supposed to do now?"
House's mouth was full,
"Gihve me tha resht ouf your yogurt."
Wilson rolled his eyes and House snatched it off his tray.
"I'll find another way or I'll give you something else."
"She's changed you so much already. In a good way. What happened anyway? You never really explained to me what happened."
"Well it happened two weeks ago..."

Two weeks earlier
It was already late. Passed the time House should've been there, but he was waiting in Cuddy's office. He was spinning around in her chair while throwing back more vicodin. Cuddy came striding in rushing to get out of there. She was startled by his presence.
"What do you want?"
"My presence here defines my intentions?"
She sighed and rolled her eyes.
"Seriously, I need to get home to Rachel."
He ignored her and threw back four more tablets of vicodin.
"Fine."
She continued to work around House. After she had packed up she put on her coat and turned off the light.
"Lock up will you?"
She waited for his response. But he didn't answer.
"Okay."
She was about to leave then house spoke.
"I love you."
She stopped dead in her tracks outside the doors. As they closed she stood there, motionless, stunned. Then she turned around and looked through the windows. She waited for him to give a reaction. Or even mouth something. But all he did was give her the serious look he would wear when he was guilty of something. So she walked back in.
"What?"
"You heard."
Then he got up from her chair walked past her and out the doors. He was making his way out of the clinic and back to his office while she strut after him.
After a few minutes, they made it to his office where he began packing up to leave. He turned off the light and that's when she walked in.
"So what?"
"What, what?"
"What are you asking me?"
"I didn't ask you anything?"
"But you were--are implying something, obviously."
"I was implying nothing. My intentions were to tell you what I did, nothing else."
"So you're leaving it at that?"
"It's up to you now."
"That's a lame excuse."
"It may be, but it's definitely the truth. You control the next step. What you have to answer now is, do you love me."
"That's what you were implying."
"I just planted the seed. I have no intention of watering it, because that's not my decision. It's up to you if you want it to grow."
"What do you want me to say?"
"I don't want you to say anything. All I said was the truth. Nothing else. I don't care what you do next." He walked past her again and he only made it to the door before she started arguing again.
"So what if I said that I love you too?"
He stopped at the door.
"Then what?"
He spun around and started walking toward her.
"Well then, I would be forced to do this," he threw his cane at the wall and began to kiss her. After a minute or so, he lifted her up and hoisted her legs around his waist. She stopped kissing him seconds after and wore a look of disbelief. She could not believe what he was doing, nor how he was doing it. His eyes closed tightly showing the pain as he was bringing her to the recliner.
"Don't! Your leg--" and before she could say anymore, he had laid her gently on the chair with a grunt.
"You idiot! Don't ever do that again." She was upset while he sighed in apparent pain. Then he replied to her,
"I'm not going to deprive you of anything."
"You won't be. But I don't want you compromising you leg based on my wants."
He looked to the floor.
"This damn thing will not change anything. You will get everything you want from me."
He looked back up at her who was wearing a concerned face. Then he joined her and they began to kiss again...

"...And then we went to her place."
"Wow. She really HAS changed you."
"She comes at a price."
"There's only one thing I have to say that I've already told you, if you love her, if you know you love her, if you can love her above everyone else including yourself, don't hurt her or lose her."
"And like I said before, I've been miserable for years, almost my whole life. Why would I take away the one happiness I can finally have?"
"You owe me."
"How much did I say?"
"One hundred big ones."
"Fine. Here."
Wilson slapped five twenties he had snatched out from his wallet into House's hand.
