Ok so I'm not sure that I should be writing this as an article, and it's my first article so it probably sucks but here goes nothing.
I know "Emancipation" was definitely not Huddy(or even Cuddy) heavy at all, but I think the lack of Huddy in this ep is significant. The fact that they are avoiding eachother and really have not had a moment completely alone together since their kiss proves how much it meant to each of them. House especially is afraid to be in the same room with only her, as evidenced in "The Itch" and "Emancipation." He knows that if they are alone together, he will have to talk about his feelings, which might lead to them possibly entering into a "relationship" or just making out again lol. Also, House is just plain scared, he has no idea how to handle his feelings and what to do when confronted with Cuddy, the person who is responsible for those feelings being there.

I also want to talk about Wilson's role in this episode and how he is actually helping House by not giving him advice. Some people speculate this is because Wilson has feelings for Cuddy, but I really don't think that is the case. I loved Wilson's passive attitude, because by not pushing House to do anything, he is actually making House think about it on his own. When House was talking to Wilson about how he didn't ring either of Cuddy's bells(lol), he sounded disappointed in himself, which was projected when he told Wilson, "You're disappointed." Wilson's lack of input is a way for him to "emancipate" House in a sense. Wilson has always been House's "conscience" but now House is forced to think for himself about what he wants. If House does come to the realization that he wants a relationship with Cuddy, it will be that much more rewarding, because he will have decided it on his own.

Finally, on to the final scene, which is probably my favorite moment in the episode. The look on his face when he is looking at Cuddy is pure LOVE. That is all I can really say about it, he is so taken by her. He stopped whatever he was doing when he saw her, and looked at her so longingly, it killed me. Even when he and Wilson start walking, it takes a little while before House can tear his eyes away from her. I also loved when Wilson asked, "Do you want to talk about her?" and House replies, "Nope," because he wants to figure out what he's going to do himself.

So all in all, althought the episode did not have even one House/Cuddy scene, the fact that it didn't makes it more realistic and significant.

Also, OMG I cannot wait for next week's episode, it is going to be so intense!!

Some poems by one of my favorite poets, Erich Fried.
Some of them are so Huddy, you will see ^^.
I hope you like them.
Some of them I had to translate myself.
Here's a little selection.
Enjoy

Compensation

To be able to breathe out
ones unhappiness

to breathe out deeply
so that one can
breathe in again

And perhaps being able to speak out
ones unhappiness
in words
in real words
which are connected together [coherent]
and make sense
and which oneself
still can understand
and which perhaps even
somebody else understands
or could understand

And to be able to cry

This again...

He came into the office. He was running late and he was definitely lost in thought.
N - You’re late. “How was your week?”
H – It had seven days in it.
N – He chuckled a bit. Ok. “Tell me about it.”
H – Not much to tell.
N – How are things with Cuddy?
H - We were leaving the hospital at the same time and I asked her how the baby was? I hadn’t seen him since he left the hospital. She told me he was fine.
N – You didn’t ask to see him or if you could help?
H – She has a nanny. If she wants me to see him she let me know.
N – Ok. How are things with Wilson?
H - I was running...

As House was holding Rachel and Cuddy was holding their son he suddenly sat Rachel down and excused himself. He told them he had an appointment but the truth was he suddenly couldn’t breathe. He was right in the center of everyone he wanted to be with; the place he wanted to be; but he had been there before and lost it all.

He returned to his office to pick a case and get the team started. They were reviewing two files as House came in.

As House reviewed the files he decided to split the team and take both cases. He walked over to the coffee maker and cut some straws so they could draw for...

Months had passed by and things had changed tremendouly at the hospital. Wilson had stepped back into his position as "Head of Oncology." They had filled Cuddy's position with Dr. Jan Bostwick.

She was a woman with something to prove and she had heard of House's reputation so when she got to Princeton she had an angenda. She wanted to prove she could turn a profit and put House in his place.

She had been successful at both those things at the expense of patient care. Ms. Bostwick was cutting costs by cutting doctors and nurses and the heads of the departments were struggling with a heavier...

"She peed on me."

"I know."

"Twice."

"I know."

"You so owe me."

"I know."

"I knew this was a mistake from the moment you asked me."

"And yet you still did it."

"When one of my friends asks for help with a long overdue parasite extermination problem, I feel obligated to oblige."

"Her name is Rachel, and she's not a parasite. And I didn't ask you to exterminate her, I asked you to babysit."

"Which I did."

"Hardly well."

"As least I wasn't out selling myself for money. How much do you really want...
