Ok guys... this is 19th chapter...and the next one is last, and unfortunately, you'll have to wait for the last one for 5 days...

Jennifer felt like she was in between two fronts. Lisa was staring at Hugh almost like trying to kill him with her piercing gaze, almost like she was telling him “this means war”.
Hugh had just one answer to that. A big devilish grin, a big “bring it on”.
Jennifer could only imagine what was going on with these two. Sure she caught them in Lisa’s dressing room, something she now suspected were really awkward moments, even though she didn’t think of them as awkward until now. How long had this been going on?
And how, just how, hadn’t anyone noticed it before?
However, Jen knew this was huge. There were only few things she could think of getting Lisa in such mood, and yet, she couldn’t think of any that would have fit in this.
Being together? Not likely, Hugh wasn’t married anymore so they would have gone public with it.
So what was really going on?
The invisible battle kept going in the living room and Jen figured, it was time to get out of there before it got messy.
With a rushed ‘bye’ she was out of Lisa’s house and as she hit the pavement, the loud noises started coming out of there and she was glad she escaped the worst part.
“How could you???” Lisa was yelling, suddenly outraged. What was he thinking?
“Does it matter?” Hugh was playing calm, he knew it would annoy crap out of her, but why did he want to annoy her anyway?
“Do you know what she’ll think???” her voice was raising with every word.
How could he hurt her like that?
“I don’t care…” He shook his head. Did he just saw his Lisa coming out? She’d better be.
“I do! This could severe my career so bad, when I get out of the whole mess, I’ll probably have to go back and live with my parents! Do you know what Shore will do to me? To you?” she shook her head “Obviously not you, cause you’re the damn STAR! They will just write Cuddy off and put House into a mess of a relationship with, let’s say, 13!” she yelled and yelled and yelled.
“Is that what this is about? You living with your parents cause we’re having sex behind Shore’s back? I think he will understand, I mean… It’s JUST sex… Right?” he emphasized the last word. He hoped they’d throw her. But all she kept doing was shake her head and yell even louder.
“How could you?” now she was sobbing… as quiet as possible, but he heard it, he heard the sobs.
“You already asked that…” he paused, she got up, her sobs subsiding and anger coming out again. As she came closer, he tried to find something in her eyes, just a hunch, that was all he needed. Just to know she felt something too, just to know he didn’t put her through this crap for nothing. Just so… selfishly, he wouldn’t feel wrong for coming down the stairs.
“I got NO answer!!!” she started yelling again, but he would swear he saw the captivated Lisa crying for help.
“DO you want an answer?” now, he was starting to yell. Maybe that would set her free, finally.
“Yes! Please!!!” her voice lowered. “Just say it already!”
“Are you sure?” he came closer, forming a two-inch gap between them.
“Just say it!” she started in his eyes, something she found out torturous. She looked away for a second and as she got no answer, just his shallow breathing she punched his chest and yelled “How could you???”
He looked in her eyes, thoroughly searching for that little person in there, begging her to stop hiding. About a second later, she was there, completely, standing in front of him, helplessly.
“Cause I love you, Lisa” he whispered and as his hand reached for hers, she got away. He’d scared her.
“Oh…no…” she let out those two words almost in whisper.
“Lisa?” in his mind, he added ‘please, be there’
But, as she backed away, as he saw how confused she was, he knew he lost her. For good. And she just confirmed it with a simple
“I think you should go…”
As she watched him slam the door behind her, tears started forming in her eyes.
She let the sadness envelope her.
Oh, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Happy end? Hm...
So, If you're not ready to kill me, yet, I'll give you a reason to want to do so:
“Honey, I’m back…” Hugh said as he opened the front door. And he saw her, wearing an apron.
“Hey… Dinner is ready. The kids are already sitting at the table… How was the set?” she asked as she watched him hang his coat.
“Good, Shore was full of new ideas” he beamed at her.
“Sounds like him” she smiled softly as she headed to the dining room.
“It smells delicious, Jo.” He started following her. She stopped.
“Thank you, Hugh, dear” she turned around as he leaned forward to kiss her.
